The Ministry of Gratitude
True gratitude for Christ’s healing moves us to serve Him immediately in everyday acts of love.
A Broad Gospel
God’s mercy offers safety to all through Christ, and it calls you to enter now with your whole family.
Fire! Fire! Fire!
God preserves his people through every trial so they emerge unharmed and strengthened.
Your prayer has been received with care and I join you in lifting your family before the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you for sharing so honestly about the pain, the attacks, and the long waiting, and also for giving thanks for all that God has already done. That remembrance is vital in a season of affliction.

I pray with you for the strong protection you asked for according to Psalm 91 and Psalm 34:7, that the Lord Himself would be your shield and refuge, that He would surround each of you with His presence and keep you from evil according to 2 Thessalonians 3:3, and that no weapon formed against you would prosper as promised in Isaiah 54:17. I ask the Lord to guard your sleep, your home, your school and work, and your times together including vacation and your prayer gathering this Friday, and to anoint that time for His glory.

I also join you in praying for salvation, deliverance and healing for your whole family. Scripture teaches that salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and that His arm is not too short to save. I pray as you asked from Acts 16:31 and Jeremiah 17:14, that each member of your household would hear the gospel, believe on the Lord Jesus and be saved, and that God would bring true deliverance and healing according to Isaiah 53:5 and Jeremiah 30:17 in His perfect time and way. I pray that He would pour His love into your hearts by the Holy Spirit according to Romans 5:5, give you new hearts and minds according to Ezekiel 36:26, restore your souls as in Psalm 23:3, and cause the fruit of the Spirit to be evident among you.

In a long trial it is not enough to desire relief alone. As you noted, we are called not to lean on our own understanding but to trust Him, to hear His Word carefully and continually remember it, and to walk with endurance and faithfulness in every part of life. Love must govern all, for without love even great faith and gifts profit little. I pray God will strengthen you with supernatural trust and faith, with encouragement, peace and joy, and help you keep your eyes on what He has already done while you wait for complete deliverance and restoration according to Joel 2:25.

Concerning the relationships and family members you mentioned, including the painful and dysfunctional patterns and the specific relationships you asked God to stop or heal, I pray that the Lord will intervene according to His holy will and His design for purity and for marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman. I do not ask God to bless what does not honor Him, but I ask Him to bring conviction where there is sin, healing where there are wounds and trauma and rejection, repentance and reconciliation where possible, and either true redemption and purity or a gracious ending to any relationship that is not according to His will. I pray He will give favor, wisdom and confidence in school, help with understanding and homework, and protection from influences that would lead away from Him. For those who have caused hurt, I pray God would rebuke what is evil and bring justice and mercy as He sees fit, and that He would comfort and encourage those who have been wounded.

I hear your confession about venting and frustration toward others and your desire to do better. I thank God for that honesty and pray with you for forgiveness through the blood of Christ, for grace to speak with truth and love, and for wisdom in handling conflict. Where there has been fear, I pray the Lord will replace it with courage rooted in His Word.

I also lift up your prayer ministry, your devotions, your work responsibilities and the sermon you are preparing. I ask the Lord to anoint your words, to guide you clearly in what to say, and to use it for the salvation and building up of many. May He lead and guide you in every practical need you listed and give you success as you follow Him.

May the Lord who allowed you to be weighed down beyond your own strength, as Paul described in 2 Corinthians 1:8, also show you His faithful deliverance, and may He be glorified in a mighty way in all your lives as you continue to seek Him. I pray all this in the holy name of Jesus. Amen.

Your prayer has been received with care, and the weight of what you and your family have carried is not overlooked by the Lord. You have asked for protection, for salvation and deliverance, for healing and reconciliation, for unity and for a fresh work of the Holy Spirit, and you have done so while still giving thanks for what God has already done. That thankfulness even in the midst of waiting is precious to Him.

Scripture teaches that salvation is entirely the work of God and not something we can achieve on our own. It rests on His grace through what Jesus Christ has done, and on our believing that work, and even the faith to believe is a gift from Him. The promise is clear that if we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead, we will be saved, for with the heart we believe and with the mouth we confess unto salvation. There will be a day when every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord, but then that confession will not bring salvation, it will only acknowledge the truth that was rejected. That is why the Bible urges us that now is the accepted time, now is the day of salvation, and we should not put off receiving His grace.

This salvation is great because it is open to anyone who will come. Jesus said whoever comes to Him He will not turn away, and it reaches even the lowest sinner. It is great because it is not only forgiveness of sins but the hope of eternal glory in the kingdom of God. Jesus is the captain and originator of our salvation, made complete through His suffering, so that He might bring many sons and daughters into glory and make us heirs together with Him. Because it is so great, there is no escape if we neglect it.

For those who have received this salvation, God calls us to work out what He has already worked in. That does not mean working for our salvation with fear and trying to earn it, but living out with reverence and dependence the life He has placed within us. Part of that is the ministry of reconciliation, learning to walk in the Spirit, denying the self centered life, taking up the cross and following Him. It is in that walk that relationships are truly healed.

You have asked for healing, and God is indeed a healer. Isaiah spoke of the suffering servant bearing our sorrows and by His wounds we are healed, and Matthew shows that this includes physical healing as well as healing from sin. When Jesus broke bread He said this is My body broken for you, given for remembrance. Yet we also see in Scripture that healing is according to His wise and loving will. Even the apostle Paul prayed three times for his thorn in the flesh to be removed and the Lord answered differently for His greater purpose. There are many kinds of healing, sometimes instant, sometimes gradual, sometimes through the natural processes God Himself created in our bodies, and sometimes the deepest healing is emotional and inward. Whatever form it takes, all true healing is from Him. What remains most important is the miracle of salvation, the forgiveness of sins, which is the greatest work God does in any life. We can bring every sickness and wound to Him with confidence, while trusting His perfect timing and will.

You asked for protection according to passages like Psalm 91 and Psalm 34 and for a wall of fire around you and your family. The Lord is your shield and your refuge, and His angels encamp around those who fear Him, and no weapon formed against you will finally prosper apart from His sovereign purpose. Romans 8 reminds us that if God is for us, who can be against us, and that He is faithful to guard us from evil. Continue to trust Him rather than leaning on your own understanding, even when attacks and painful treatment continue.

You prayed for new hearts and minds, for love poured into your hearts, for the fruit of the Spirit, and for restored souls. God has promised to give a new heart and put a new spirit within us, to pour His love into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, and to restore our souls as our Shepherd. He also bore the curse for us on the cross so that the blessing might come to us, and He promises to restore the years that have been broken and eaten away.

Concerning the many family members and relationships you mentioned, including the concerns about school, teachers, friendships, and romantic relationships that have been painful and dysfunctional, we join you in praying for God's clear intervention, for deliverance and for healing of past wounds of trauma and rejection. We pray not that God would bless what is outside His design, but that He would lead each person into what is holy and whole. Scripture teaches that salvation is through Jesus Christ alone and that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, with intimacy belonging within that covenant. For every relationship in your family, we ask that God would bring conviction where needed, comfort where there is hurt, purity where there has been confusion, and either the redeeming of relationships into godliness or the gracious ending of what would lead further into harm. We pray He will give favor and wisdom in school, help with learning and confidence, protection in sleep, and guidance in work and daily responsibilities, all according to His will.

You also confessed venting and frustration toward others, and asked for forgiveness. There is forgiveness in Christ when we confess, and He is faithful to help us do better, to speak with grace and to be reconciled where possible. He also knows your fear and the burdens you carry, and He invites you to bring them to Him for strength and encouragement.

May the Lord continue to encourage you as you wait for complete deliverance and healing. Do not lose sight of the prayers He has already answered. He who has begun a good work will be faithful to complete it. May He fill you and your household with supernatural trust and faith, with love, peace and joy, and cause His Spirit to be poured out upon you, leading and guiding you in every decision and drawing each member of your family to saving faith in Jesus.

Father, in the name of Jesus, we bring this family before You. Cover them with Your protection, let them dwell in Your shelter, and guard them from evil. Save those who have not yet believed, deliver those who are bound, heal what is wounded in body, mind and heart according to Your will, and bring reconciliation and unity where there has been division. Give new hearts, restore souls, break every curse through the cross and turn it to blessing, and restore what has been broken. Teach us to trust You fully, to walk in Your Spirit, and to live out the salvation You have given with reverence. Let Your love be poured into every heart and let Your glory be seen in this family. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

We have continued to lift up your request for strong protection for you and your family, that the blood of Jesus would cover you, that the Lord would place a wall of Holy Spirit fire around each of you and surround you with His mighty warrior angels according to Psalm 91:1 and Psalm 34:7 and Zechariah 2:5 and Isaiah 54:17 and Isaiah 59:19 and Psalm 3:3 and 2 Thessalonians 3:3 and Jeremiah 15:20 and Romans 8:31. We have continued to agree with you for salvation according to Jeremiah 17:14 and Acts 2:21 and Acts 16:31, for deliverance, for healing according to Isaiah 53:5 and Jeremiah 30:17, for reconciliation and unity and for a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon your whole family. We have remembered before the Lord how difficult and painful things have been with the attacks and abuse you described, and we have asked Him to help you to trust Him and not lean on your own understanding, to give you supernatural trust and faith and to pour His love into your hearts according to Romans 5:5, to give you new hearts and new minds bearing the fruit of the Spirit according to Ezekiel 36:26, to restore your souls according to Psalm 23:3, to break every curse and turn it into blessing according to Galatians 3:13 and to restore what seems hopelessly broken according to Joel 2:25.

We have also continued to bring before the Lord the many specific burdens you shared that were included in the previous version of your request, including your family members and loved ones, the needs concerning schools and teachers, the relationships that need intervention and healing, the need for favor and supernatural confidence and help with understanding material, the healing of trauma and rejection and abandonment, the need for protection over sleep, for help with vacation and work and new responsibilities, for your prayer ministry and gatherings including the Friday evening of prayer, for the devotions and the sermon and for guidance in every conflict and concern, and for the encouragement and breakthrough you are seeking. We thank God with you for all He has already done and for so many answered prayers, and we ask Him to help you not to lose sight of His faithfulness while you are still waiting for complete deliverance, healing and salvation for all.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

We pray in Jesus Name that the Lord will strengthen and encourage you, surround you and your family with His peace and protection, and be glorified in a mighty way in all of your lives. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.
