Your prayer has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the Lord Jesus with thanksgiving for all He has already done and with trust for what He will yet do.
We thank God with you that you can come boldly to Him in the name of Jesus, for there is salvation in no other name. We pray for His protection over you and your whole family, that He would be your shield and refuge as Psalm 91 and Psalm 34 teach, and that His presence would guard you from evil according to 2 Thessalonians 3. We ask Him for deliverance, healing and restoration according to His perfect will, remembering that Isaiah 53 points us to the wounds of Christ by which we are healed, and that God promises to restore the soul and to pour His love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit.
You have spoken honestly about pain, attacks and abuse, and about waiting for complete deliverance while still giving thanks. Scripture reminds us that we were weighed down beyond our power in Asia, yet God delivered, and that some did not accept deliverance in this life because they looked for a better resurrection. This teaches us that God does not always remove affliction immediately, but He sustains us through it and works for our eternal good. Therefore we pray not only for relief, but for fortitude, for careful hearing of His word and continual remembrance of it, and for contempt for worldly things that would distract us. Above all we pray for love, because faith, knowledge, gifts and even endurance profit little if love is absent. May He form in you all the fruit of the Spirit and give you new hearts that manifest love, joy and peace.
Concerning the many relationships and family members you mentioned, we pray for God's holy and good design to prevail. We do not ask God to bless any relationship that is outside His will, for marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman and the gift of intimacy belongs within it. Instead we ask for purity, wisdom and healing. Where there is dysfunction, rejection, trauma or abandonment, we ask the Lord to bring conviction where needed, comfort where there is wounding, and deliverance where there is bondage. For those in school we pray for favor, understanding, confidence rooted in Christ and help with learning. Where you have asked Him to stop a harmful or disastrous relationship, we agree and pray that He would intervene, bring clarity, set boundaries and lead each person toward holiness, whether in godly singleness or in a future marriage that honors Him. For broken family bonds we pray for reconciliation and unity where it is according to His truth, and for protection where distance is needed.
We also hear your confession about venting and frustration and your desire to do better, and we thank God that forgiveness is freely given through the cross of Christ. He who bore the curse for us according to Galatians 3 is able to break every curse and turn it to blessing, and to restore the years that seem lost as Joel 2 promises.
We lift up your prayer gatherings, including this Friday evening, your devotions, your work and new responsibilities, your sleep, your time of vacation and your preparation to preach. We ask the Lord to anoint His word, to guide your tongue, to draw people to pray together and to bring encouragement and breakthrough in a way that glorifies Him alone. May He keep you from leaning on your own understanding and deepen in you supernatural trust and faith that comes from Him.
We will continue to pray that the Lord will strengthen you while you wait, that He will keep you from losing sight of His mercies, and that He will be glorified in a mighty way in the lives of you and your family. In the holy name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

Thank you for opening your heart so honestly and for bringing so many burdens to the Lord in prayer. Hearing how painful and difficult things have been for you and your family, and how long you have been carrying attacks and hurt, we want to stand with you and bring these needs before Jesus with you.
You have asked for protection, and Scripture does give us confidence that the Lord is a shield and a refuge for those who trust in Him. He is near to those who call on Him, and His angels and His presence surround His people. It is right to ask Him to keep you and your household under His care, to guard your hearts, your minds, your sleep, and your home. At the same time we rest not in a formula but in the person of Christ Himself who is our keeper.
You have asked above all for salvation for your family. This is the greatest need any of us has, and the greatest miracle God does. The name Jesus itself means the Lord is salvation, for He came to save His people from their sins. The Bible tells us that if we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead, we will be saved. That confession now, in this life, is unto salvation. There will be a day when every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that He is Lord, but then it will not be unto salvation, only the acknowledgment of what was rejected. That is why Scripture urges us that now is the day of salvation and now is the accepted time. The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared, and it is offered freely to all who will come. Whoever will come to Him He will not cast out, no matter how far they have gone. Salvation is not something we can achieve on our own. It is outside our ability and rests entirely on His grace and His work through the cross, received by faith which He Himself gives. We join you in praying that each member of your family would hear His voice today and respond while there is time, turning to Him in faith and submitting to His lordship.
For those who have already believed, the Word tells us to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling. This does not mean we work for our salvation, as if we could earn it. It means we live out what God has already worked within us. He is at work in you to will and to do His good pleasure, and we are called to walk it out faithfully and reverently day by day, trusting Him rather than leaning on our own understanding.
You have also prayed for healing, deliverance, restoration of what has been broken, new hearts, and the pouring of His love into your hearts by the Holy Spirit. God is indeed a healer. He heals the body, the mind, and the emotions. The prophet Isaiah spoke of the Messiah bearing our sicknesses and sorrows, and Matthew shows us that this includes physical healing as well as the healing of sin. When Jesus broke bread He said this is My body broken for you, and we remember that His suffering touches our whole person. Yet we also see in Scripture that healing comes in different ways. One person was healed instantly, another was healed gradually as Jesus laid His hands on him a second time, and in many cases God heals through the natural processes He Himself created in our bodies, which are no less divine. And we see that Paul prayed three times for a thorn in the flesh to be removed and the Lord answered with sustaining grace rather than immediate removal. This teaches us not to presume that God wills a particular physical outcome in every case, while still coming boldly to Him for mercy. What we can know with certainty is that the healing of the soul, the forgiveness of sins and the gift of eternal life, is the most important healing of all, and He never withholds it from a repentant heart. He promises to give a new heart and a new spirit, to restore the soul as a shepherd restores his sheep, to turn the curse into blessing because Christ became a curse for us, and to restore the years that have been lost. We pray with you for that deep inward renewal, for love, joy, peace and all the fruit of the Spirit to be evident, and for any physical and emotional wounds, including trauma, rejection and abandonment, to be touched by His gentle hand in His way and His time.
You mentioned painful family relationships, conflicts, and relationships that have been destructive and dysfunctional. God desires reconciliation and unity where it is possible, but His pattern for romantic love is clear and good. He designed sexual intimacy and living together to belong within the lifelong covenant of marriage between one man and one woman. Outside of that, such relationships bring deep wounding. So we do not ask God to bless what is outside His design, but we do ask Him to bring conviction, protection, deliverance and healing. We pray He will guard the young people in your family from harmful entanglements, give them favor and wisdom in school and with teachers and peers, build in them a confidence that is rooted in Him rather than in others, and help them understand what they are learning. We pray He will break patterns of dysfunction, bring godly boundaries, and where relationships are not according to His will, that He would lovingly close those doors and bring healing to the wounds left behind.
We also hear your honest confession about venting and frustration and conflict with others. It is good to bring that to the Lord. Where we have spoken against others or acted in fear, we can receive His forgiveness through Christ and ask for His help to do better, to speak with grace and truth, and to respond to adversity with kindness and love. He is faithful to forgive and to teach us His way.
Thank you for giving thanks even while you are still waiting. That is a mark of faith. God has already done so much, and remembering His past faithfulness helps us trust Him for what is still ahead without losing heart. He is not only with you in the difficult places, but He has placed you in His family. When our own families do not yet know Him, that can feel very lonely and even bring rejection, as Jesus Himself experienced among His own. Yet Scripture shows there is a bond in the family of God that can be even deeper than natural ties, and He provides fellowship, encouragement and strength through His people as we walk together.
We are praying for you and your loved ones for supernatural trust and faith, for strength and encouragement, for peace in your home and rest at night, for help with work and daily responsibilities and studies, and for your times of prayer and devotion together. May the Lord anoint those times, draw hearts to seek Him, and pour out His Spirit as you seek His face. May He guide you in every decision, give you wisdom for each step, and be glorified in a mighty way in all your lives as you continue to look to Jesus, the captain and source of our salvation who brings many sons and daughters into glory.
Father, in the name of Jesus we lift this family to You. Save those who are not yet saved, deliver those who are bound, heal what is wounded, guard what is vulnerable, and lead each one into Your perfect will.
