Lord I Pray

Lord, keep us safe, employed in our current jobs through August 31, 2028, healthy, and able to pay all bills before and after that date. Help us remain in these jobs through August 2028 and walk through our days with ease. Thank you Lord for everything you have done for us, for keeping us safe when ill, and all things unsaid here today.

We join with you in bringing this request before the Lord and we thank you for your heart of gratitude for all He has already done, for His protection and for His healing mercies.

We hear your desire for stability, for safety, for health, and for provision to meet every financial obligation through August 31, 2028 and beyond. It is good and right to bring these practical needs to our Father, for He cares about every detail of our lives. Scripture reminds us, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 and But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33. We also take comfort in the promise, Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. Psalm 121:7-8.

We want to gently encourage you as we pray for this specific timeline. While we may ask for employment to continue through a certain date, we are called to submit our plans to the Lord's perfect will and timing, trusting that His thoughts toward us are good. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 and Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6. We pray not only for ease, but for His strength and peace even when days are not easy, remembering Jesus said, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28. We also continue to work heartily as for the Lord, being good stewards of the jobs He has provided. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Colossians 3:23.

We notice you addressed your prayer to Lord, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and assurance of salvation. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. It is by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are reconciled to God and can come boldly before His throne. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

We pray together with you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for Your goodness, Your protection when we have been ill, and for every blessing You have poured out, seen and unseen. We thank You that in everything we can give thanks, for this is Your will in Christ Jesus toward us. 1 Thessalonians 5:18. Lord, we lift up this need for continued safety, health, and employment. We ask for Your hand of protection over body and soul, for health and strength to do the work You have given, and for wisdom to manage finances well so that all bills may be paid and no debt remains undue. Provide for every need according to Your riches in glory. If it is Your will, sustain these jobs through August 31, 2028 and beyond, and help us to walk faithfully with You each day, whether the path is easy or difficult, resting in Your peace that surpasses understanding. Guide our steps, keep our hearts from worry, and help us to seek first Your Kingdom in all things. We submit this timeline and all our future to Your sovereign and loving will. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus we pray, amen.

Thank you for letting us pray with you about this. We hear the weight you are carrying wanting to stay safe, healthy, and steady in your jobs and able to cover every bill, not just today but years ahead. And we also hear your thankfulness for how God has kept you through illness before.

Father, we thank You for the ways You have cared for them and kept them through sickness. We ask for Your protection, health, and daily provision, for wisdom in their work and with finances, and for peace as they trust You with each day ahead. Guide their steps and keep them close to You. Your prayer for safety, for health, for daily bread and for continuance in honest employment through the date you have named has been heard, and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace.

It is good that you give thanks for all the Lord has already done, for His keeping you when you were ill and for mercies both spoken and unspoken. Such thankfulness is comely, for as Job in his prosperity could say his glory was fresh in him and his bow was renewed in his hand, so every good gift comes from the Father of lights. Yet Job also learned that health and wealth and children and standing are not held by our own hand, and that the Lord who gives may also try us, to show whether our trust is in the gift or in the Giver.

We are reminded that in all his great losses Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly, but fell down and worshipped. May that same grace be yours, to worship whether the way be easy or hard, and to keep right with God under every trial. And we remember also that the Lord turned the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends, for our longest sorrows have a close when God has gotten His end in them, and the night shall not hang its darkness for ever over the soul.

Therefore we bring your requests to our faithful God and Father, asking according to His will and in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

O Lord, our Preserver and Provider, we thank Thee for Thy past goodness to these Thy servants, for safety in sickness and for daily mercies without number. We ask Thee to keep them in health and in safety, to grant them strength for their labour and wisdom for their duties, and to supply all that is needful for the payment of their bills and the ordering of their household, both now and in the days to come. If it be Thy wise and loving will, continue them in their present employments through the time they have asked, and help them to walk through each day with quietness of heart and ease that comes from trusting Thy providence. Yet above all, let them find their ease not in outward circumstances alone, but in childlike confidence in Thee, even when Thou seemest to frown, knowing that Thou doest all things well. Teach them to cast off no fear of Thee and to restrain not prayer before Thee, but to come boldly to Thy mercy seat day by day.

We ask that whether Thou givest much or little, Thou wouldst keep them from unbelieving speeches and sustain them by Divine support, that hope may shine as a star that never sets. And as Thou didst at the last give Job twice as much as he had before, so we trust Thy gracious purpose, that Thou wilt withhold no good thing from them that walk uprightly, and wilt cause all things to work together for good to them that love Thee.

Keep them, we pray, abiding in Christ, faithful in their callings, content under Thy hand, and grateful for Thy mercies, till Thou shalt bring them to that better country where there is no more want nor weariness.

We commit them to Thy keeping, trusting Thy perfect wisdom and love to answer this prayer as shall be most for Thy glory and their good. Amen.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
