Lord am tired

Your honesty about being weary and not knowing where to turn is heard, and God does not turn away from that kind of prayer. When work leaves you exhausted and what you have still does not seem enough to cover what is required, the heart can feel overwhelmed, as if deep waters might swallow you. Scripture speaks directly to that place and asks, where do I turn when I have come to the end of my own strength. The answer it gives is to turn to the Lord Himself.

Jesus invites those who labor to the point of weariness and exhaustion to come to Him for rest. That word for labor means to toil until you are worn out, and He sees that labor. He knows what it is to work hard with your hands and still face need, and He cares that you feel held and remembered right now. Peter writes to cast all your care upon Him because He cares for you, and the psalmist prayed, when my heart is overwhelmed lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

It helps to remember that God never puts Himself in a box. Under the old law there was even a provision for the cleansing of a leper, though leprosy was incurable by human means. God wrote into the law a place for Him to work a miracle if He desired. He always leaves room for Himself to work in ways we cannot explain or predict. Do not limit what He can do with the little you have. Just as He once provided that a look of faith could bring life with no human explanation, He is able to take what is small in your hands and make it sufficient, to open doors for work, wisdom, and help that you have not yet seen.

God has also made one sure provision for the deepest need of every person, the forgiveness of sin and peace with Him through His Son Jesus Christ. When you are right with Him through faith in Jesus, you can come with confidence as a child to your Father, not as a stranger. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is your Father when you belong to Christ, and He hears the cry of His children and draws near to deliver and to hold them close.

I am praying for you that the Lord will hold you close and make His care very real to you in these days, that He will give you rest in your weariness, wisdom to know the next step to take, and grace to steward what you have. May He who promises to supply all your need according to His riches in Christ Jesus bless the little you have and make it stretch to meet your bills and obligations this week, and may He lift the weight of anxiety as you trust Him day by day. Keep looking to Jesus, keep doing the honest work before you, and keep asking Him to show you what to do. He sees, He cares, and He is able to work even when the way forward is not yet clear.

We want you to know how deeply we have carried your weariness and your cry to our Father these past days. It has been our privilege to stand in the gap with you, lifting up your exhaustion, your financial strain, and your longing for direction before the throne of grace. We have prayed that the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob would hear your voice as He heard theirs—that He would draw near, hold you close, and reveal His care in tangible ways.

We are still asking the Lord to show you what to do next, to multiply the little you have so that every bill and obligation is met, and to give you rest in the midst of the hard work. If He has already begun to answer—if you’ve seen even a glimmer of provision, clarity, or peace—we would love to hear about it so we can rejoice with you. But if the burden still feels heavy and the path unclear, we invite you to share it with us again. We are not walking away; we will continue to pray, believing that our Father hears and responds to the cries of His children.

May He strengthen your heart as you seek Him, reminding you that you are not alone in this struggle. May His presence be your comfort, His wisdom your guide, and His provision your peace. We stand with you, trusting in His faithfulness, and we pray all these things in the name of Jesus. Amen.
