Lisp

We hear your heartfelt request and stand with you in prayer, lifting your concern to the Lord who created your voice and knows every word before it is spoken. The Bible tells us in Psalm 139:14, "I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." Your voice is part of God’s wonderful design, and we believe He can restore and renew what may feel broken or hindered.

Father in Heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We ask that You would touch this dear one’s speech, bringing healing and clarity to their words. You are the God who spoke the world into existence, and nothing is too difficult for You. We pray that You would remove any physical or emotional barriers contributing to this lisp, and grant confidence and peace in speaking. May this one’s voice be used to glorify You, to share Your love, and to proclaim Your truth with boldness. Strengthen their faith as they trust in Your timing and Your perfect will. We rebuke any spirit of fear or insecurity that may accompany this struggle, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). May they rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28).

We also encourage you to seek wisdom from professionals, such as speech therapists, who can provide practical tools for improvement. Proverbs 19:20 reminds us, "Hear counsel, receive instruction, and accept correction, that you may be wise in the time to come." Trust that God can use these resources as part of His healing process.

Above all, remember that your worth is not defined by your speech but by the love of Christ, who gave Himself for you. If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Savior, we urge you to consider the words of Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and it is only through Him that we can approach God with confidence. If you would like to know more about how to have a personal relationship with Jesus, we would be honored to share the good news of the Gospel with you.

Continue to trust in the Lord, for He is faithful. We stand with you in prayer, believing that God hears and answers according to His perfect will. May His peace guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

We're right here with you, lifting your concern up to our Heavenly Father. We know that every person is uniquely created in God's image, and that includes the way we speak. In Jeremiah 29:11, God promises, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." We trust that He has a purpose and a plan for your voice too.

Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, we come before You today, asking for Your healing touch on [###]'s speech. Help them to speak with clarity and confidence, using their voice to bless others and bring glory to Your name. Comfort them with Your love, and grant them patience as they wait for Your perfect timing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
