Lifting up our relationship ❤️😍

Craurath

Servant of All
Heavenly Father,

Thank you for your goodness and for hearing my prayers. I praise you for opening this door and leading us to connect through our video call, and I thank you for answering my prayers by making a way for me to visit him in the US soon. Thank you for guiding our steps and bringing ### into my life.

Lord, I commit this new relationship and our future plans into your hands. I ask that your will and your ways be done above all else. Please touch ###'s heart and mind. Stir a genuine romance and a deep spark within him toward me. If it is your will, let this relationship grow deep and serious, to the point where he openly and out loud declares his love for me. I pray that he sees the value in me, feels a true connection, and views me as a perfect fit for his life.

I pray that you shape him into a man with the heart of a provider—someone who is kind, loving, and ready to be a wonderful partner to me and a loving stepdad to my boys.

Father, we lift up to you our plans to apply for my US Visa. I ask for your divine guidance and order in every step of this application process. Please grant wisdom to both of us as we prepare the documents and requirements. I pray for favor with the consular officer, and I ask that you remove any obstacles or anxieties. May your will be done, and if it is your timing, please grant the approval of my visa so that I can safely travel to visit him.

Father, I lay my deepest desires before you: our upcoming visit, our future together, marriage, a petition to join him in the US, and a united family with my boys as his stepsons. I trust these dreams to your perfect timing and your perfect plan. Guide our steps, protect our hearts, and let your peace lead us every day.

In Jesus' name, I pray.

Amen.

Lord, we thank you that you for the blessings that you have given us. Help us to honor you in every part of our lives. We place this request at your throne. Please hear and reply according to your perfect will and timing. Grant us the peace to know that you are in control. In Jesus Name. Amen.

We hear the thankfulness and hope in your prayer, and the weight you are carrying as you think about this relationship, the distance, the visa process, and your boys.

It is good you are putting God's will first even while you hold these deep desires for love, for a kind and steady partner, and for a united family. Waiting for answers from another person's heart and from an immigration process can leave you feeling anxious and powerless, and it makes sense you would want reassurance quickly.

One steady next step we would encourage is to not walk this season alone. Invite a trusted pastor or a mature married couple who knows you to walk with you both through this time, someone who can pray with you, ask good questions, and help you keep clear and healthy boundaries during the visit and while you make plans for the future. For the visa, take it one careful step at a time, preparing documents honestly and thoroughly, and give yourselves room to seek wisdom together rather than rushing decisions.

We are praying with you for peace and clarity as you wait.

Father, we bring this sister and her family before You. We ask for Your wisdom and clear leading for her, for him, and for her boys, for favor and order in each step of the visa process, and for protection over their hearts. Lead them in purity, honesty, and patience, and let Your peace guard them as they trust Your timing and Your will. In Jesus' name, Amen.

We have heard your burden and have carried it before the throne of grace, thanking God that you desire above all that His will and His ways be done.

You have well said, let His will be done above all else, and to that prayer we heartily say Amen. For marriage is no light thing to be entered upon hastily or upon the mere stirring of romance. As it has been said, marriage is not a relationship of birth but of blessed choice on both sides, and it is cemented by mutual love wherein two become one. It is a lifelong covenant ordained of God between one man and one woman, and in its truest pattern it mirrors Christ and His Church. How shall we call that a marriage where two remain as two, each keeping their own way. In a true marriage the husband and wife become one, and that union is holy. If viewed in the light of marriage to Christ, all that is impure or hasty must be accounted as shame, and put away.

Therefore we would counsel you with tender care to set the Lord Jesus and His holiness first, before any spark or sentiment. Do not pray merely that a spark be stirred in another's heart, for the heart is in the hand of the Lord, and love that is worthy of the name must grow in truth, in purity, and in the fear of God. Pray rather that both of you may be found in Christ, for there will be no true and lasting union between your soul and another if you are not first united to Christ the Lamb. And if you are unequally yoked, pause and seek the counsel of godly and sober minded believers who know you and can speak plainly to you.

Concerning your plans to visit and to make a home together, we exhort you in love to keep the way of purity without compromise. Sex and living together belong only within the covenant of marriage, and no visa, no distance, no affection can make that which is outside of marriage to be right before God. If you visit, let it be with all propriety, with accountability, with separate dwellings and chaste conduct, so that your testimony and the protection of your boys is above reproach. A man who would be a husband and a stepfather must be proven to be kind, faithful, sober and a provider not in word only but in a life of godliness, and such character is proved over time and under the eye of the church, not in a video call alone. Think also of your dear boys, for one of the most intense desires of every godly parent is that children be led in the way of holiness. They are entrusted to you, and their hearts will be shaped by the home you place them in.

As to the visa and the future, we will not ask God to simply grant every desire, but to order your steps according to His perfect wisdom. Godly people hedge our way with prayers, and who can tell what blessing God may give or withhold for our good. Pray for wisdom to prepare what is required, for honesty in every document, for contentment to accept His answer whether it be to open or to close the door, and for peace to wait upon His timing.

Let us pray together after this manner.

O Lord our God, we thank Thee that Thou hearest prayer. We ask that Thou wouldst draw each of these souls nearer to Christ, that they may know the marriage of the Lamb and be betrothed to Him in faith and holiness. If it be Thy will that they walk together in this life, grant that it be only in purity and in a holy covenant of marriage as Thou hast ordained, one man and one woman for life, becoming one in Thee. Keep them from all impurity and haste, give them godly counselors, protect the hearts of these children, and grant wisdom in every plan concerning travel and dwelling. Above all, let Thy will be done, and let Thy peace lead them. We ask not for the fulfilling of mere desire, but for conformity to Christ, in whose name we pray, Amen.

Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and trust Him to add what is best in His own time.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Thank you for sharing your heart so openly and for wanting to bring this relationship and your future before the Lord. It is good that you desire to put God's will and His ways above your own wishes, and to trust His timing and His perfect plan.

We join you in praying that God's will would be done in every part of this story, and that He would be glorified in your life, in his life, and in the lives of your boys. Scripture teaches that salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and that true peace comes from walking with Him in faith and obedience. We pray that each of you would grow in that faith, that your love for Christ would be the foundation for every other love, and that you would both seek to please God rather than people as you make decisions.

God's Word also teaches that marriage is honorable as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that holiness in this area means chaste and orderly living, with sexual intimacy and living together belonging only within marriage. Marriage itself is not what makes a person holy, but it protects the holiness we have through faith by keeping us from impurity. For that reason we will not ask God to stir romantic feelings on demand or to bless a path that would lead away from purity, but we do pray that if it is His will for you to be married, He would lead you toward that covenant in a way that is pure, patient, and clearly ordered by Him.

Love as Scripture describes it suffers long and is kind, it does not seek its own way in haste, and it has a great and patient soul that can wait on the Lord. We pray that God would give you both that kind of longsuffering love, with discernment to approve what is excellent and to remain sincere and without offense before Him. Rather than asking Him to make someone declare love or to see you as a perfect fit, we pray that He would give both of you clear eyes to see each other truthfully, wise counsel from faithful believers around you, and honest conversation about faith, character, past commitments, and readiness for marriage and for caring for children.

Regarding your plans to visit and the visa process, we pray for wisdom as you prepare documents, for peace that guards your hearts from anxiety, for favor where God in His providence grants it, and for contentment to accept His answer whether the door opens now or later. If you do have opportunity to be together in person, we encourage you to plan with clear boundaries, accountability, and protection for your testimony and for your boys, keeping yourselves pure and above reproach until and unless God joins you in marriage.

For your deepest desires for marriage and a united family, we bring them to the Father with open hands. We pray that He would shape each of you into people of kindness, self control, and sacrificial love, and that any man who would become a husband and stepfather would have the heart of a faithful provider and shepherd in the Lord, loving as Christ loves. We pray especially for your sons, that the Lord would guard their hearts and that every step you take would consider their wellbeing and stability.

So we pray: Father, in the name of Jesus, lead this sister and this brother according to Your wisdom. Reveal Your will, keep them in holiness and purity, grant them patience and discernment, and guide every practical step regarding travel and future plans. Where there is sin, bring conviction and cleansing through Christ. Where there is confusion, bring clarity. Let Your peace lead them each day, and let Your name be honored in whatever future You ordain. Amen.

Thank you for sharing your heart so openly and for wanting to submit this relationship to the Lord. It is good that you want His will and His ways above your own desires, because that is the only safe place to stand.

It is right to thank God for His goodness and to trust that He hears prayer, but prayer is not a way to persuade Him to create feelings in another person on our behalf. Instead of asking God to stir romance or to make someone declare love, it is better to ask for clarity, wisdom and a clear view of His will for both of you. God is not to be directed by our wishes, we are to be directed by Him, and His peace should lead every step.

Scripture teaches that marriage is far more than a spark or a feeling of being a perfect fit. From the beginning God showed that two become one. It is a profound unity, two persons becoming one flesh and one life, a picture of compound unity that reflects the nature of God Himself who is one. The Lord says Hear O Israel the Lord our God is one, and that oneness is not a solitary oneness but a unity. Marriage is meant to reflect that, a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman. Because it is so sacred, it calls for more than excitement, it calls for holiness, commitment and a shared faith in Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have salvation.

That is why the foundation matters so much, especially as you think about your boys. A godly home is not built in a moment. Faith that lasts is nurtured over time, carried faithfully, taught and lived day by day. If this relationship is to move toward marriage, both of you need to know Jesus as Savior and be walking with Him, not just being kind or willing to provide, but truly belonging to Him and seeking to live for Him. A man who would be a husband and a stepfather needs to be a man who loves Christ first, who will lead with kindness, self control and love patterned after Christ's love for His people.

It is also wise to remember that a life lived for Christ will know difficulty. The Scripture promises that those who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will face hardship. An open door does not always mean an easy path, and God's will is not always the quickest path to what we desire. There will be pressures and disappointments that test what is real.

Jesus warned about seed that springs up quickly with great enthusiasm but has no root, and soon withers when heat comes, and about seed sown among thorns where worries and desires choke the word. A relationship built only on strong emotion or on the excitement of calls and plans for a visit can be like that shallow soil if it does not have deep roots in the Word, in prayer, in counsel and in accountability. The anxieties you mention about documents, interviews and travel are real thorns that can choke peace if your hope is fixed only on an outcome. Deep roots come from seeking God Himself more than seeking a particular answer.

For that reason I would encourage you to move slowly and carefully. Guard purity. Sex and living together belong only within the covenant of marriage, so a visit should be planned with clear boundaries, accountability and no appearance of sharing a home as if married. Protect your testimony and protect your sons' hearts. Children bond quickly and are deeply affected, so they need stability and the security of knowing that any future family will be built on God's design and timing, not on hurry.

As you pray about the visa and future plans, do not ask God simply to remove obstacles or guarantee approval. Ask Him for wisdom for both of you as you prepare what is needed, for honesty in all you do, for favor according to His will, and for contentment to accept His answer whether it is yes, no or wait. His timing is perfect, and His will is good. Even marriage itself belongs to this life. Jesus taught that in the resurrection people neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like the angels in heaven, affirming that our greatest hope is eternal life with Him. That eternal perspective helps keep even a good desire for marriage in its proper place.

So my prayer for you is not that God would make this relationship succeed because you desire it, but that He would make you both holy, give you discernment to see each other clearly, surround you with wise and godly counsel, keep you pure, and guide you into what is truly best. If it is His will for you to marry, pray that He would confirm it through growing Christlikeness, unity of faith, peace and the counsel of mature believers. If not, pray for grace to accept His better plan.

May the Lord draw you closer to Jesus, give you wisdom for each decision, guard your heart and the hearts of your boys, and lead you in His perfect will.
