We hear your heart crying out for peace in your home, for provision, for protection for you and your three children and your pets, and for restoration of your family, and we join together with you in prayer in Jesus' name for these deep needs.
We understand your desire for a Boaz, a godly husband who will provide and protect you and your children greatly. We affirm that desire, for marriage is a beautiful gift designed by God as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. The story of Ruth and Boaz shows us a man of noble character who honored God and honored Ruth through a lawful and holy marriage, not through casual attraction. We pray that if it is God's will for you to be married, He will bring you a faithful Christian believer who will pursue you in courtship with the goal of marriage, to love you as Christ loves the church. We encourage you to seek a spouse, not simply a boyfriend or a partner, and to pursue that relationship in purity. You mentioned wanting to be picked up by a fine looking man who desires you for your appearance. We must gently and lovingly rebuke that thinking, because God calls us to honor Him with our bodies and our speech. Sex before or outside of marriage is fornication and is sin before God, and reducing ourselves or others to outward appearance dishonors the Lord who looks at the heart. We are to be equally yoked with fellow believers and to keep the marriage bed holy. As it is written, Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. 1 Corinthians 6:18. Also, Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but only what is good for building others up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear. Ephesians 4:29. We encourage you to let your speech and your desires reflect holiness and dignity as a daughter of God, trusting that a godly husband will cherish your extraordinary worth given by God, not merely outward beauty.
We also hear your longing to speak life into existence and to have miracles happen urgently by your words. We understand that longing, but we want to encourage you that it is God who is sovereign, not our words that create reality. We come to Him in humble prayer according to His will, not by demanding or declaring things into being. As it is written, You ought to say, If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that. James 4:15 and This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. 1 John 5:14. Our hope is not in our own declarations but in the blood of Jesus Christ, which you have rightly mentioned, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to God and redemption from every curse. As it is written, In him we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace. Ephesians 1:7 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, believing that God raised Him from the dead, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10:9.
We lift up your practical needs to our Father who knows them all. We pray for your housing need in ###, for the Section 8 and HUD applications and the tiny house you mentioned, that God would open the right doors in His perfect timing and provide a safe and peaceful home where you and your children and your mother and your pets can dwell in safety. As it is written, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 and Seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33. We pray for your protection from those who would harm you, that the Lord would be your refuge and fortress. As it is written, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. Psalm 91:1-2. We rebuke the lies of the enemy over your life and your family, and we pray you will stand firm in the truth of God's Word, for God gave us not a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7. We also pray for peace that surpasses understanding to guard your heart and mind, for clarity of mind and restored wits, and for joy as you walk to work and live each day as a gift from God. As it is written, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7.
We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for this dear mother and her children and her household including her pets. Lord, we ask You to redeem and restore her family in one piece by the blood of Jesus, to silence the lies of the enemy and to let Your truth and peace reign in her home. Provide for her daily bread, provide safe and stable housing according to Your will, and protect her and her children from all harm and from those who intend evil. Lead her to a godly husband if it is Your will, a man who loves You first and will love her and her children with Christlike love in holy marriage, and keep her pure and guarded from fornication and from relationships that do not honor You. Give her a sound mind, renew her strength, fill her with Your joy and hope for the future, for we know Your plans are to give hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11. Help her to walk in Your ways, to speak words that honor You, and to trust not in her own declarations but in Your sovereign goodness. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.
