Beloved of All
Your longing to return home this year has been heard and we join with you in bringing it before the Lord in prayer.
God knows the strength of this desire. As we have learned, love makes longing fervent, and when the heart is set on those we love and the place we long to be, every delay feels heavy. Yet we also see how God often allows a time of waiting, not to deny us, but to deepen our trust and to make us ready to receive His provision with thankfulness. Even the apostle Paul prayed continually to be brought to those he loved, and he submitted that longing to what seemed good to God, trusting that the Lord would lead him in the right time and way.
We pray for you, ###, that the Lord Jesus Christ, in whom alone is our hope and salvation, would guide your steps in the coming months. We ask that if it is His will, He would open the way for you to return home this year, provide what is needed for the journey, remove obstacles, and keep you safe on the way. We pray also that He would give you peace while you wait, and that you would know His nearness whether you are far off or at home, for our true home is with Him.
Continue to pray and not lose heart. Commit your plans to the Lord, seek His wisdom in each decision, and trust His timing which is always good. May He grant you contentment in His care today and, in His mercy, bring to pass your return according to His perfect will.
