Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.
We have been remembering you before the Lord in these days and lifting up your specific burdens. We have been praying for your deep need for peaceful sleep after so many nights of loud noise and music from the young man upstairs and his friends continuing until the early morning hours, and for the exhaustion you have carried not only in recent days but for fifteen years. We have asked the Lord to grant you quiet rest and to guard your home in peace, for we remember His promise in Psalm 4:8 and His nearness to those who are weary as written in Psalm 34:18.
We have also brought your three requests before the Father. We have prayed that He would provide a godly husband with strength and authority to protect and support you and to stand by your side, since you have felt alone without help from others in the building or a male friend to advocate for you. We have prayed that the Lord would deal with the young man above you who shows no respect for house order and ignores your polite pleas, whose life has been marked by long use of marijuana and alcohol and who responds with insensitivity and dishonesty. And we have prayed that the Lord would either cause that apartment above you to become empty or would bring a thoughtful and respectful neighbor who honors the peace of the home, and that He would soften hearts and bring conviction where He sees fit according to Romans 12:18.
We know you shared how painfully present this trial still is, with aggressive pacing that makes your walls tremble and the sound of bottles and cans being collected, and we continue to ask God to be your defender and your refuge when no one else in the building will help and when moving or legal action is not a viable option for you.
We continue to stand with you in prayer and we trust that God hears the cries of His children and acts according to His perfect will and timing.
