We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up these burdens to our Heavenly Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. First, we give thanks for His daily protection, provision of food and shelter, and for the very breath in our lungs. We acknowledge that every good and perfect gift comes from Him, and we are deeply grateful.
Father, we are especially concerned for this dear sister who is struggling with despair and thoughts of giving up. The weight of this world can feel crushing, but we know that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Lord, we rebuke the spirit of hopelessness and depression that seeks to steal her joy and purpose. Your Word declares that You came so that we may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We pray that You would wrap Your loving arms around her, reminding her that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that her life has immense value in Your sight. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let her feel Your presence in a tangible way. May she find hope in Your promises and strength in Your unfailing love.
As we prepare for the meeting on Tuesday, we seek Your wisdom and guidance, Lord. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to trust in You with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding, acknowledging You in all our ways so that You may direct our paths. Father, we pray that the figure You have placed on this heart is indeed according to Your will. We ask that You go before us in this negotiation, softening the hearts of those involved to agree to a just and fair settlement. Protect this dear one from any harm or deceit, and grant them favor in the eyes of those they will meet. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will be their shield and fortress (Psalm 91:2).
Lord, we also bring before You the need for provision. You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we trust that You will supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We pray that the funds for the settlement, fencing, and security guards will be made available in Your perfect timing. Open the floodgates of heaven, Lord, and pour out Your blessings so that there will be no lack.
Regarding the ongoing processing and clearance, we ask that You touch the hearts of those in authority. Let them act with integrity, fairness, and compassion, granting the clearance without further delay or complication. Your Word tells us that the king’s heart is in Your hand like channels of water, and You turn it wherever You wish (Proverbs 21:1). We pray that You would turn their hearts toward justice and mercy.
Father, we lift up the loved one who fell and is now battling pneumonia. We declare Your healing power over her body. By the stripes of Jesus, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that promise now. Strengthen her, Lord, and restore her to full health. We pray that all underlying health issues would be revealed and addressed, and that she would experience Your healing touch in every area of her life.
Lord, we submit all these requests at the foot of the cross, surrendering our will to Yours. We know that Your plans for us are for good and not for harm, to give us a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Help us to walk in faith, not by sight, trusting that You are working all things together for our good (Romans 8:28).
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. May Your will be done in each of these situations, and may Your name be glorified through the outcomes. Strengthen our faith, Lord, and help us to rest in Your sovereignty, knowing that You are in control.
Amen.
