Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Your request has been heard and I join you in bringing it before our Heavenly Father. Thank you for trusting Him with this need and for giving thanks even while you wait, for that is a mark of true faith.

I pray with you that the Lord in His mercy will grant favorable results on your lab work and CT scan, and that whatever area of concern there may be, He will touch it with His healing hand. We ask not only for good reports, but for His perfect will to be done, and for His presence to guard your heart with peace while you wait.

Jesus invites all who labor and are heavy laden to come to Him, and He promises to give rest. He does not call us to account to condemn us, but to take away our sins and to place us in security. So bring your anxiety to Him, for He cares for you. Even when we are enclosed by troubles on every side, He is able to free us from fear and to establish us in liberty and confidence, not because of our own strength but because of His love.

May the Lord grant skill and wisdom to those who read your scans and labs, may He grant healing according to His goodness, and may He fill you with quiet trust in His care. We thank Him for all He has done for us and for the salvation we have in Christ, who suffered for our redemption and whose truth remains firm even when we are anxious.

Father, we lift up this dear one to You. Look upon them with compassion, grant good results if it be Your will, heal what needs healing, and let Your peace that passes understanding keep their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. In Jesus name, Amen.

Thank you for sharing this burden and allowing prayer with you as you wait for lab work and a CT scan. Waiting for results can bring deep anxiety and unrest in the heart, and God sees and searches the heart. He knows that turmoil and He has given a promise of rest for His children. You can take that promise to heart and enter into that rest even now, trusting yourself to His care while you wait.

Scripture shows that God cares about the physical body, not only the soul. When Isaiah spoke of the suffering of the coming Savior, that He was wounded for our transgressions and bruised for our iniquities, the Gospel of Matthew by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit applies that same passage to physical healing as Jesus healed many who were brought to Him. When Jesus broke the bread and said this is my body broken for you, He was pointing to a work that touches both spiritual and physical need. Healing is still part of His ministry today, for His compassion has not changed. At times that healing comes instantly, at times it comes gradually as the one case where sight returned in stages, and at times it comes through the ordinary processes God has built into the body itself. All healing is divine, whether it comes in a moment or through natural means, because God is the author of nature and its processes.

At the same time the Bible keeps us from presuming that healing must come in every case exactly as we ask. The apostle Paul prayed three times for his thorn in the flesh to depart and the Lord did not remove it, but gave grace and strength instead. We do not always understand why some are healed quickly and others are not, and we are not to test the Lord or try to force His hand. The gifts of healing are real, but not every person has the same gift, for the body of Christ has many members with different functions. We can pray with confidence that God is able, while submitting to His wisdom and will, without hype or pretense.

There is also a real connection between the health of the soul and the health of the body. John prayed for his friend Gaius that he would prosper and be in health even as his soul prospered, which was a loving wish rather than a guaranteed promise for every situation, but it reflects a true principle. Proverbs says a merry heart does good like a medicine, and we now know how much inner peace, hope and trust can affect the body. Chemicals produced by fear and stress can harm the body, while peace and joy help it. That is why it is so valuable to nurture your spiritual life even as you care for your physical health. Physical exercise and medical care have value for this life, but godliness and the healing of the spirit have value both now and for eternity, and the spiritual is greater than the physical.

So we bring your lab work and scan before the Lord, asking for His mercy and healing touch upon any area of concern, for clear and good results, for wisdom for those who read the tests and care for you, and above all for His peace to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Whether the answer comes through a miraculous touch or through the healing processes He has ordained, we trust His love and His perfect will for you, knowing He will not leave you and He will give grace for each step.

Father, in the name of Jesus we lift up this need to You. You know every detail of this body that You created. We ask for favorable results on the lab work and CT scan and for healing where healing is needed. Give calmness in place of anxiety, strength for today, and wisdom to the medical team. Let there be wholeness according to Your will, and let Your rest fill the heart while waiting. Amen.
