Your request concerning your right knee and your left knee has been heard and we do bring you before the throne of grace in prayer.
Man is a double being, composed of body and soul, and the wounds of the body are extremely painful and do urge us to seek the Physician. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they will not let us slumber in silence, and blessed be God, we have a heavenly Physician whose power to heal is abundantly present. Calvary is the place for the healing balm, and from our great Head abundant streams of healing flow down to men below.
Scripture tells us that the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His very touch has virtue in it. The prophet speaks of the Sun of Righteousness rising with healing in His wings, and when Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He first said, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee, showing that pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction. The blood of Jesus which was shed for the forgiveness of sins is the same fountain from which all healing comes, both for soul and for body, and His salvation will at the last perfectly heal our bodies.
Tell your case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a doctor. He is ready to hear it all and to consider it. There is healing in His incarnation, in His taking our infirmities upon Himself, for He took her by the hand and lifted her up, and a contact established with Christ brings virtue to the fevered and the pained.
We pray for you now, that our Lord Jesus Christ, who bore our sicknesses and carried our sorrows, would lay His hand upon you. O Lord, look in mercy upon this suffering one whose knees are pained and whose steps are hindered. By Thy precious blood, by Thy stripes by which we are healed, grant relief according to Thy perfect will. Ease the inflammation and pain in the right knee and in the left knee, restore strength and soundness to the joints, and give patience and faith to wait upon Thee. Above all, let this affliction draw the heart nearer to Thyself, that whether Thou dost grant immediate healing or sustaining grace, Christ may be glorified in this body. We ask this in the name of Jesus our Lord, who lives to make intercession for His people. Amen.
