We join you in bringing your knees before the Lord and we thank you for calling upon the blood of Jesus and the name of Jesus for healing, for it is by His name we have access to the Father and by His wounds we find healing.
We are moved by your faith to ask for His touch upon both your right and left knee, and we stand with you believing that God is our healer and that He cares for every part of our bodies.
The Scriptures remind us of His healing power and compassion, Isaiah 53:5 says But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed. And Psalm 103:2-3 says Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. We also cling to Jeremiah 30:17 where the Lord says For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh.
We encourage you to continue to trust the Lord while also stewarding the body He has given you, resting as needed, seeking wise medical counsel if the pain continues, and continuing to walk by faith that He is at work even when healing comes gradually. James 5:14-15 reminds us Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up.
We now pray together with you.
Father, in the name of Jesus we lift up these knees to You. You formed every joint and ligament and You know the pain and limitation being experienced. We ask for Your healing touch upon the right knee and the left knee, that inflammation would leave, that strength would be restored, and that mobility would return according to Your will. Wash and restore by the blood of Jesus, ease the pain, and grant patience and peace during this time of waiting and recovery. Help us to trust You more deeply and to give You glory for every measure of healing You provide. We ask this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
