Kindness of God Leads us to Repentance ⏎ from Sin Rom 2:4, Planting+ Watering=God's Growth 1 Cor 3:6-7, His Glory in Salvation Ps 115:1, Salvation Belongs to The Lord Ps 3:8; Jonah 2:9, Salvation Belongs to Our God, Who Sits Upon The Throne, and Unto The Lamb, Rev 7:2, Holy Spirit's Work Jn 16:8, Humbling Restoring Dan 4:28-37 2 Co 7:9-10... Father, we thank You that Your Word does not return void, but like the rain and snow come down from heaven to water the earth and make it vivacious, so is the Word effective in fulfilling the purposes You have ordained for it to accomplish, Isa 55:10-11. Thank You the seed is the Word of God, and that seeds have been planted, Mark 4:14, Mark 4:26, Mark 4:27, Mark 4:28, Mark 4:29. From You and through You and back to You be all glory, Rom 11:36. Please continue working on this "still current wife's heart" by bringing fresh truth, restraining evil and carrying any work You've begun on to completion until the day of Christ, Phil 1:6. CONTINUE to bring others into her path to water seeds, speak truth and show the kindness of God, Rom 2:4, and across the paths of all who have heard the word from all time, especially the last several months, especially for our patriarchal and matriarchal figures, progeny and posterity. Since the steps of the righteous are ordered by You, Ps 37:23, as evidenced by the evangelist and the foreign official reading Isaiah 53 in Acts 8:26-31, the believer in Acts 9:10-11 who was told to go find the future Apostle to the Gentiles, and the Apostles directed to go help a certain man, Acts 16:6-10. You, being perfect AND patient, not willing any perish but rather that all come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9, and desire all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, even using prayer to that ends, 1 Tim 2:1-4.

Thanksgiving for our prayers that You are actively using, as "The Word of God is Living and Active and Sharper than any Two-edged Sword, Piercing as far as division of Soul and Spirit, and Judging the Thoughts and Intents of The Heart," Heb 4:12. "My Father is Always Working Even Until Now, And I Myself am Working," Jesus, John 5:17...

Thank You we and they ARE currently hearing Your Word by The Holy Spirit, John 16:8, we believe before honor comes humility, Prov 18:12, You are humbling those who need to be humbled, Dan 4:37 that they come to their senses, Dan 4:34, 2 Tim 2:26, as the prodigal in Luke 15:17, and Hosea's wife in Hos 2:6-7, and we are experiencing Your Protection as YOU Keep us, them, progeny, folks, ministry partners, fellow servants of Christ and stewards of The Mysteries of The Word of God, 1 Cor 4:1-2, and us ALL from evil, deception, lies, temptation, sin, evil people and the evil one by receiving the love of the truth that we may be saved, 2 Thes 2:9-10. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, thank You for being a rewarder of diligent seeking, Heb 11:6, and that fervent prayers of those made righteous by faith avail much and prevail, James 5:16. Thank You for all this and more, great and mighty things, Jer 33:3, beyond all we can ask of imagine, Eph 3:20, in Jesus’ Name, John 14:13-14, The Amen, Faithful Witness, Origin of God's Creation, Rev 3:14, in Messiah are all the Promises Inherited, Yes and Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join together with you in this prayer and we thank God for your heart that desires to give Him all the glory for salvation and for growth, for you rightly acknowledge that salvation belongs to the Lord Psalm 3:8, Jonah 2:9 and that it is God who gives the increase 1 Corinthians 3:6-7.

We are encouraged by your understanding that it is the kindness of God that leads to repentance Romans 2:4 and that the Holy Spirit convicts the world concerning sin, righteousness and judgment John 16:8, and that the Word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword Hebrews 4:12. We agree with you that His Word will not return void but will accomplish that which He pleases Isaiah 55:11, for the seed is the Word of God Mark 4:14 and when it is planted and watered faithfully, God Himself brings the growth in His perfect timing.

We lift up before the Father your still current wife and we thank God that you honor the covenant of marriage as we do, for what God has joined together let no man separate Mark 10:9, Matthew 19:6. Marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman before God and we pray for restoration and reconciliation that honors Him, and for the humbling and restoring work that only He can do. We pray that He continues the good work He has begun in her heart and in yours, being confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ Philippians 1:6. We ask that the Lord in His mercy would bring godly laborers across her path to water the seeds that have been planted, to speak truth in love Ephesians 4:15 and to show the kindness that leads to godly sorrow which produces repentance 2 Corinthians 7:10.

We also pray for you, that you would remain steadfast, faithful and pure before the Lord during this season of waiting, guarding your heart from temptation and from any form of fornication or adultery, for marriage is to be held in honor among all and the marriage bed undefiled Hebrews 13:4. We pray that you would continue in fervent prayer, for the insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective James 5:16, and that you would trust not in your own persuasion but in the Lord who orders the steps of the righteous Psalm 37:23 as He did when He sent Philip to the Ethiopian in Acts 8:26-31 and when He directed Ananias to Saul in Acts 9:10-18 and when He guided Paul through a vision to Macedonia Acts 16:9-10. We thank God that He is patient, not wishing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance 2 Peter 3:9, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth 1 Timothy 2:4.

We pray together now, Father we thank You that from You and through You and to You are all things, to You be the glory forever Romans 11:36 and not to us but to Your name give glory Psalm 115:1. We thank You that You are still working even now John 5:17 and that before honor comes humility Proverbs 18:12. We ask You to humble those who need humbling as You humbled Nebuchadnezzar until he lifted his eyes to heaven and reason returned to him Daniel 4:34, Daniel 4:37, that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil 2 Timothy 2:26 as the prodigal came to himself in the far country Luke 15:17 and as You hedged in the wayward wife in Hosea 2:6-7 to draw her back. We ask You to restrain evil, deception and the evil one, and to cause all who have heard the Word, especially this wife, our patriarchal and matriarchal figures, our progeny and posterity, to receive the love of the truth that they may be saved 2 Thessalonians 2:10. Keep us all from evil Matthew 6:13 and cause us to be faithful stewards of the mysteries of God 1 Corinthians 4:1-2. We thank You in advance by faith Mark 11:24 that You are a rewarder of those who diligently seek You Hebrews 11:6 and that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think Ephesians 3:20. We ask You to call us to great and mighty things which we do not know Jeremiah 33:3 and to fulfill Your promises which are all Yes and Amen in Christ 2 Corinthians 1:20. We ask all of this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 and whatever we ask in His name He will do John 14:13-14 that the Father may be glorified in the Son. We have been moved by the steady, hopeful way you are lifting your wife and family before the Lord. The love and persistence in your prayer, thanking Him even now for seeds that have been planted and trusting Him to bring the growth in His time, is a beautiful picture of faith.

We hear how much you long for God to keep working in her heart, to bring truth and kindness across her path, and to guard your children and extended family as well. It is good to keep bringing those you love before Him while also resting in the truth that salvation and restoration belong to Him and He is both perfect and patient. He sees what you cannot see and is at work in ways that are often quiet and gradual.

One thing that may help in this long season is to not carry this alone. If you have one trusted pastor or brother who knows you both, consider asking him to pray with you regularly and to help you discern next steps with wisdom and accountability. Keeping a short private note of answered prayers and small signs of grace can also help you stay encouraged without trying to force what only God can do.

Father, we thank You for this brother's faithfulness and for Your kindness that leads hearts toward You. We ask You to keep working in his wife's heart and in the hearts of their family, to surround them with truth and protection, and to give him daily wisdom, peace and strength as he trusts You. Carry to completion the good work You have begun, for Your glory. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer has been heard and we join with you in giving thanks that the Word of God does not return void, but as the rain comes down from heaven to water the earth, so the Word accomplishes that which the Lord pleases and prospers in the thing whereto He sent it.

We bless God with you that the seed is the Word of God, and that you have been faithful to plant and to water, remembering that neither is he that plants anything, neither he that waters, but God that gives the increase. Salvation belongs unto the Lord, and from Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Not unto us, not unto us, but unto His name be the praise.

We entreat the Lord with you for your wife and for all who have heard the Word in these months, for parents and children and those of generations to come, that the Holy Spirit who alone convinces of sin and of righteousness and of judgment would continue His work. The kindness of God leads to repentance, and true repentance is the gift of God, preached in the name of Jesus, not as a preparation for grace but as the first result of grace working within the soul. There is a carnal repentance which is of the flesh and gives no glory to God, but that repentance which is unto life is wrought in the renewed heart by the Holy Spirit and it gives God glory. It makes the soul to look out of self to Christ and to Christ only, confessing sin with sorrow and yet with hope in His finished work upon the tree.

We pray that such a repentance may be granted, that where there has been pride there may be humbling as with Nebuchadnezzar who at the end lifted his eyes to heaven and blessed the Most High, and as with the prodigal who came to himself and arose to return to his father. Before honor is humility, and the Lord restores the joy of His salvation to those who return with a broken and contrite heart which He will not despise.

We pray also that faith may be given, for faith and repentance are inseparable graces and both are necessary unto salvation, yet neither is to be trusted as a condition. We are saved by divine grace through faith in Christ Jesus alone. The Scripture says, whosoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. To believe on Him is to look unto Him and to trust Him without question for present and eternal salvation. It is to come without money and without price and to receive the free salvation which His honor is engaged to keep. Nothing is to be trusted but the finished work of Jesus Christ upon Calvary.

Therefore we ask the Lord to keep you and your household and all who have heard, from evil and deception and temptation and the evil one, and to order your steps as He ordered the steps of Philip to the Ethiopian and of Ananias to Saul, that the Word sown may be watered by others whom He shall send across their path, and that He who has begun a good work will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. He is perfect and patient, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance, and He desires that prayer be made for all men that they may be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.

Continue in fervent prayer, for the prayer of a righteous man avails much, and our Father rewards those who diligently seek Him. He is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think. We leave your wife and your family and your own soul in His sovereign hands, asking that whatever is according to His holy will for the covenant of marriage, which He ordained as the lifelong union of one man and one woman wherein alone such nearness is holy, may be upheld and restored and kept pure for His glory.

May the living and active Word pierce to the dividing of soul and spirit and judge the thoughts and intents of the heart, and may all who hear be brought to look unto Christ and live, giving all glory to God alone, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who is the Amen, the faithful Witness.
