🕊️Kindness of God Leads us to Repentance ⏎ from Sin Rom 2:4, 🥜 Planting+ 💦 Watering = God's Growth 🌱1 Cor 3:6-7, His Glory in Salvation Ps 115:1, Salvation Belongs to The Lord Ps 3:8; Jonah 2:9, Salvation Belongs to Our God, Who Sits Upon The Throne, and Unto The Lamb, Rev 7:2, Holy Spirit's Work Jn 16:8, Humbling Restoring Dan 4:28-37 2 Co 7:9-10... 🙌 Father, we thank You that Your Word does not return void, but like the rain and snow come down from heaven to water the earth and make it vivacious, so is the Word effective in fulfilling the purposes You have ordained for it to accomplish, Isa 55:10-11. Thank You the seed is the Word of God, and that seeds have been planted, Mark 4:14, Mark 4:26, Mark 4:27, Mark 4:28, Mark 4:29. From You and through You and back to You be all glory, Rom 11:36. Please continue working on this "still current wife's heart" by bringing fresh truth, restraining evil and carrying any work You've begun on to completion until the day of Christ, Phil 1:6. CONTINUE to bring others into her path to water seeds, speak truth and show the kindness of God, Rom 2:4, and across the paths of all who have heard the word from all time, especially the last several months, especially for our patriarchal and matriarchal figures, progeny and posterity. Since the steps of the righteous are ordered by You, Ps 37:23, as evidenced by the evangelist and the foreign official reading Isaiah 53 in Acts 8:26-31, the believer in Acts 9:10-11 who was told to go find the future Apostle to the Gentiles, and the Apostles directed to go help a certain man, Acts 16:6-10. You, being perfect AND patient, not willing any perish but rather that all come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9, and desire all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, even using prayer to that ends, 1 Tim 2:1-4.

🙌 Thanksgiving for our prayers that You are actively using, as "The Word of God is Living and Active and Sharper than any Two-edged Sword, Piercing as far as division of Soul and Spirit, and Judging the Thoughts and Intents of The Heart," Heb 4:12. "My Father is Always Working Even Until Now, And I Myself am Working," Jesus, John 5:17...

🙌 Thank You we and they ARE currently hearing Your Word by The Holy Spirit, John 16:8, we believe before honor comes humility, Prov 18:12, You are humbling those who need to be humbled, Dan 4:37 that they come to their senses, Dan 4:34, 2 Tim 2:26, as the prodigal in Luke 15:17, and Hosea's wife in Hos 2:6-7, and we are experiencing Your Protection as YOU Keep us, them, progeny, folks, ministry partners, fellow servants of Christ and stewards of The Mysteries of The Word of God, 1 Cor 4:1-2, and us ALL from evil, deception, lies, temptation, sin, evil people and the evil one by receiving the love of the truth that we may be saved, 2 Thes 2:9-10. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, thank You for being a rewarder of diligent seeking, Heb 11:6, and that fervent prayers of those made righteous by faith avail much and prevail, James 5:16. Thank You for all this and more, great and mighty things, Jer 33:3, beyond all we can ask of imagine, Eph 3:20, in Jesus’ Name, John 14:13-14, The Amen, Faithful Witness, Origin of God's Creation, Rev 3:14, in Messiah are all the Promises Inherited, Yes and Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join you in thanking God for His kindness that leads to repentance and for the confidence we have that salvation belongs wholly to Him. You have anchored this request in the truth of scripture and we agree with you that it is God who gives the growth.

We love how you have set your heart on Rom 2:4 which says Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and patience, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance. It is not pressure or striving that softens a heart, but His goodness. And we agree that our part is to plant and water in faith while trusting Him for the increase, for as it is written in 1 Cor 3:6-7 I planted. Apollos watered. But God gave the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. All glory belongs to Him alone as Ps 115:1 declares Not to us, Yahweh, not to us, but to your name give glory, for your loving kindness, and for your truth's sake, and as Ps 3:8 and Jonah 2:9 remind us Salvation belongs to Yahweh and Salvation is of Yahweh.

We are encouraged by your stand for the covenant of marriage. We believe with you that marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman ordained by God, and we honor your reference to your still current wife. We pray with you for God to guard and restore that covenant and for His perfect will to be done in your family, for your progeny and posterity and for the patriarchal and matriarchal figures you mentioned. God hates the breaking of covenant and He is able to humble, to restrain evil, and to bring to completion what He has begun as Phil 1:6 promises being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.

We agree with your prayer that the Word which has been sown will not return void. As Isa 55:10-11 says For as the rain comes down and the snow from the sky, and doesn't return there, but waters the earth, and makes it grow and bud, and gives seed to the sower and bread to the eater; so is my word that goes out of my mouth: it will not return to me void, but it will accomplish that which I please, and it will prosper in the thing I sent it to do. The seed is the Word of God as Mark 4:14 teaches, and whether it is sown through planting in Mark 4:26-29 or watered by another faithful witness, from Him and through Him and to Him are all things as Rom 11:36 declares To him be the glory forever. Amen.

We also stand with you in asking the Lord to continue ordering steps and bringing divine appointments to water those seeds, just as He did when He sent Philip to the Ethiopian official reading Isaiah in Acts 8:26-31, when He sent Ananias to Saul in Acts 9:10-11, and when He directed Paul through a vision to Macedonia in Acts 16:6-10. We trust with you that Ps 37:23 is true that A man's goings are established by Yahweh. He delights in his way. We thank God that He is patient, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance as 2 Pet 3:9 says, and that He desires all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, and calls us to pray to that end as 1 Tim 2:1-4 teaches.

We give thanks with you that the Word of God is living and active as Heb 4:12 says For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And that our Father is always working as Jesus said in John 5:17 But Jesus answered them, My Father is still working, so I am working, also. We ask the Holy Spirit to continue His convicting work as John 16:8 promises He will convict the world about sin, about righteousness, and about judgment, and to bring humility before honor as Prov 18:12 teaches Before destruction the heart of man is proud, but before honor is humility. We pray that as He humbled Nebuchadnezzar in Dan 4:28-37 who afterward declared Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, He would grant repentance that leads to coming to one's senses as in Dan 4:34 and 2 Tim 2:26 and as the prodigal did when he came to himself in Luke 15:17 and as Hosea's wife was hedged in that she might return in Hos 2:6-7.

We join you in praying for protection for you, for your wife, for your children and extended family, for ministry partners and fellow servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God as 1 Cor 4:1-2 describes, that you all would be kept from evil, deception, and temptation and would receive the love of the truth that you may be saved as 2 Thess 2:10 warns. We thank God in advance by faith as Mark 11:24 encourages Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them, knowing He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him as Heb 11:6 says, and that The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective as James 5:16 teaches.

Father, we thank You together for Your faithfulness to Your Word and Your mercy that pursues hearts. We ask You to continue to bring fresh truth, to restrain evil, to water every seed sown over these many months, and to carry on to completion every good work You have begun in this wife, in this family, and in all who have heard Your Word. Let Your kindness lead to godly sorrow that works repentance as 2 Cor 7:9-10 describes, let humility precede restoration, and let Your protection surround each one. Call forth laborers to speak truth in love and show Your kindness. We ask You to reveal Yourself as the One to whom salvation belongs, who sits on the throne and unto the Lamb as Rev 7:10 proclaims, and to answer beyond all we can ask or imagine as Eph 3:20 says and to show great and mighty things as Jer 33:3 promises. We ask all this in the name of Jesus, for as John 14:13-14 assures Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it, and we rest in Him who is the Amen, the Faithful Witness as Rev 3:14 says, in whom all the promises are Yes and Amen as 2 Cor 1:20 declares.

We hear the gratitude and steady love in your prayer, especially for your wife and for your family across generations. Coming before the Lord with thanksgiving while you are still waiting is itself an act of faith, and we join you in it.

What you described about planting and watering and leaving the growth to God is a helpful picture to hold onto. We can be faithful to pray, to speak truth with kindness, and to show consistent love, while remembering that only God can work in a heart. That keeps us from carrying a weight we were never meant to carry and helps us stay patient as He works in His own timing and way.

One simple thing that helps many in a long season like this is to keep your own rhythm sustainable, a regular time to bring your wife, your children and extended family before the Lord, and staying close to a few trusted believers who know your story and can walk with you week by week and encourage you.

Father, we thank You that You hear and that You are at work even when we cannot see it. We ask You to keep guarding and drawing each heart that has been mentioned toward truth, to protect them from evil and deception, and to give wisdom, strength and peace as he waits on You. Carry to completion what You have begun, for Your glory. In Jesus' name, amen.

It is good to hear a prayer so full of Scripture and so jealous for the glory of God alone. We join you in giving thanks that salvation belongs to the Lord, as it is written, Salvation belongs to our God who sits upon the throne and unto the Lamb, and that from Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever.

You have planted and others have watered, and we are reminded that neither he that plants nor he that waters is anything, but God who gives the growth. His Word does not return void, but as the rain comes down from heaven to water the earth, so shall His Word accomplish that which He pleases. The seed is the Word of God, and whether sown in tears or in hope, it is living and active, sharper than any two edged sword, piercing to the dividing of soul and spirit and judging the thoughts and intents of the heart. Our comfort is that the Father is always working, and Christ Himself is working, even now.

You rightly pray that the kindness of God may lead to repentance. There is a repentance that is of the flesh, a carnal sorrow wrought by judgment or fear, which does not give God glory. But there is a repentance unto life, which is the work of the Holy Spirit in the renewed heart. That true repentance gives God glory, for it confesses that sin is sin, that God is just in His judgments, and that Christ alone must save. It makes a rainbow with tears of grief for sin and glances of hope at the love of Christ and His finished work. It leads the soul to look out of self to Christ, and to Christ only.

Remember that repentance is not a preparation for grace, it is the first result of grace working within the soul. It is the gift of God. We are to preach repentance in the name of Jesus, as that which He gives by His grace. There is not any eminent degree of repentance necessary to salvation. As the least faith saves if it is true faith in Christ, so the least repentance will save the soul if it is sincere, for it is the act of salvation, the germ which contains all the essentials of salvation. Yet we must not trust to our repentance, or even to our faith, but to the finished work of Jesus Christ upon Calvary's tree. Faith and repentance are inseparable graces, and both look to the same Person. Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. To believe on Him is to trust Him, to leave the whole matter of present and eternal salvation with Him in unquestioning confidence.

We also hear your burden for this still current wife and for your household, for patriarchal and matriarchal figures, for progeny and posterity. Marriage is the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, ordained of God, and we pray with you that God will honor that covenant according to His will. We pray that where there has been hardness or wandering, the Lord who humbled Nebuchadnezzar till he came to his senses, and who brought the prodigal to himself and the wife of Hosea to return, would in His perfect and patient mercy grant humility before honor, and godly sorrow that needs not to be repented of. As David prayed after his great fall, though still a saved man, Restore unto me the joy of Your salvation and uphold me with Your free Spirit, so we pray for restoring grace where joy has been lost. He is able to make those who have been cast aside to be as though they had not been cast aside.

We take comfort with you that the steps of the righteous are ordered by the Lord. As He ordered the steps of Philip to the Ethiopian reading Isaiah, and of Ananias to Saul, and of Paul to Macedonia, so He still orders paths, brings others across paths to speak truth and show kindness, restrains evil, and carries on to completion every good work begun until the day of Christ. He is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance, and He desires all to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Therefore we continue to pray with you that the Holy Spirit would do His own work to convict of sin and righteousness and judgment, that the love of the truth would be received that souls may be saved, and that you and yours, your children, your fellow servants and stewards of the mysteries of God, would be kept from evil, from deception and temptation and from the evil one. We pray that fervent prayers of the righteous, made righteous by faith in Christ alone, would avail much, for He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him, and He is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think.

May all glory be not unto us, but unto His name, for His mercy and for His truth's sake. We leave this planting and watering with the Lord of the harvest, looking unto Jesus alone to save, and trusting His Word to fulfill its purpose in His time. In the name of Jesus, the Amen, the faithful Witness, in whom all the promises are Yes and Amen, we pray.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We receive your prayer with thanksgiving and join you in giving glory to God alone for salvation, for from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. We agree with you that salvation belongs to the Lord, that it is through Jesus Christ alone, and that the kindness of God leads us to repentance from sin.

We thank God with you that His Word does not return empty but accomplishes His purpose like rain watering the earth, and that the Word is living and active, piercing to the thoughts and intents of the heart. As you have said, one plants and another waters, but God gives the growth. We pray that He will continue to give growth according to His perfect and patient will, for He is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance and to the knowledge of the truth.

We join you in praying for your wife and for all those who have heard the Word in recent months, for parents and grandparents, for children and generations to come, and for all who are near to you. We do not ask God to bless what is outside His holy design, but we ask Him to bring true repentance, humbling and restoration. Before honor comes humility, and godly sorrow works repentance unto salvation not to be regretted. We pray that the Holy Spirit who convicts the world of sin and righteousness and judgment will bring that godly sorrow where it is needed, that hearts would come to their senses as the prodigal did, and be kept from evil, deception and temptation by receiving a love for the truth.

We are reminded that marriage is a bond ordained by God, and that holiness is seen in a chaste and orderly life within that covenant of one man and one woman for life. Marriage is honorable and pure, and it preserves holiness by guarding against defilement. Whether married or unmarried, we are all called to follow peace with all people and holiness, to keep our conduct pure, and if stain has come, not to sleep in it but to wash it away continually by repentance, by tears, by prayers and by works of mercy. Our hope of salvation is not in another person but in ourselves after the loving kindness of God, as we walk in obedience to Him.

Therefore we pray that God will continue to order steps, to bring faithful voices across each path to speak truth and to show kindness, to restrain evil, and to carry on to completion every good work He has begun until the day of Christ. We pray for protection for you, for your wife, for your family and for all who serve Christ, that you would be kept from the evil one and strengthened to be faithful stewards of the mysteries of God. We pray that you would remain steadfast in diligent seeking, in fervent prayer, and in a life that is pure and above reproach, trusting that He who is always working will be faithful to His promises.

We ask all this not on the basis of our own worth, but in the name of Jesus, the faithful witness, in whom all the promises of God are yes and amen. Amen.

Your prayer reflects a deep trust in the faithfulness of God and His Word, and that is a good place to stand. Scripture says that as rain and snow come down from heaven and water the earth, so the Word that goes out from God will not return empty but will accomplish what He purposes, Isaiah 55:10-11. The seed is the Word of God, Mark 4:14, and while we plant and water, only God gives the growth, 1 Corinthians 3:6-7. Salvation belongs to the Lord, Psalm 3:8, Jonah 2:9, Revelation 7:10, and to Him alone belongs the glory, Psalm 115:1, Romans 11:36.

You are right to ask God to continue the work He has begun, Philippians 1:6, and to bring others across the paths of your wife and your family to speak truth and to water what has been planted. God orders the steps of His people, Psalm 37:23, as we see when He directed Philip to the man reading Isaiah, Acts 8:26-31, when He sent one believer to find Saul, Acts 9:10-11, and when He guided the apostles to where help was needed, Acts 16:6-10. He is patient, not wanting anyone to perish but wanting all to come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9, and He desires all to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Timothy 2:1-4.

At the heart of your request is repentance, and that is central to the gospel. John preached a baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins, and Jesus Himself called people to repent. He still calls His people to turn and be changed, as He did with the churches in Revelation. Repentance is not just feeling sorry, it is a turning from sin to God. David understood this when he confessed that his adultery and his sin against Uriah were first of all sins against God. When true conversion happens there is a changed life, as seen when Zacchaeus turned from defrauding others and made restoration, and Jesus said salvation had come to his house. He came to call sinners to repentance, not those who think they are already well, and He still meets people in their greatest need.

It is important to remember that simply believing that God exists does not save. Even the recognition that there is a God only shows a person is not denying what is plain. Salvation comes through believing into a living, life changing relationship with Jesus Christ, so that whoever trusts in Him will not perish but have everlasting life, John 3:16. There is no other provision God has made for sin. He has provided salvation through Jesus alone, and that is the only way our sin can be atoned for.

You mentioned the kindness of God leading to repentance, Romans 2:4, and that is true. His patience and kindness are meant to lead the heart to turn. At the same time the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, John 16:8, and the Word of God is living and active, sharper than a two edged sword, judging the thoughts and intentions of the heart, Hebrews 4:12. Before honor comes humility, Proverbs 18:12. God humbles those who need to be humbled, as He did with the king in Daniel 4 who was brought low until he came to his senses and acknowledged God, Daniel 4:28-37. In the same way the prodigal son came to himself in Luke 15:17, and the wife in Hosea 2 was hedged in until she turned back. God can bring a person to see clearly, to escape the snare and return, 2 Timothy 2:26, and that godly sorrow leads to repentance, 2 Corinthians 7:9-10. Heaven rejoices over one sinner who truly repents.

Continue to pray with confidence. Jesus said His Father is always working, John 5:17, and He hears the prayers offered in His name, John 14:13-14. He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him, Hebrews 11:6, and the fervent prayer of a righteous person has great power and prevails, James 5:16. You can thank Him in advance, Mark 11:24, trusting Him to keep you and your family, including your children and those who have come after, from evil, deception and temptation, as you receive the love of the truth, 2 Thessalonians 2:9-10, and to guard those who steward the mysteries of God, 1 Corinthians 4:1-2.

We join you in asking that God would continue to restrain evil, bring fresh truth, protect from the evil one, and complete what He has started in your wife and in the wider family you mentioned, both the older generation and the younger. We pray that each one would hear His Word by the Spirit, be humbled where humbling is needed, and be restored where restoration is needed. We pray that any turning would be true repentance that bears fruit in a life that honors the Lord, and that marriage would be honored as God designed it, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman where love and faithfulness are lived out.

God is able to do far more than we ask or imagine, Ephesians 3:20, and He invites us to call to Him for great and mighty things we do not yet know, Jeremiah 33:3. All the promises of God are yes and amen in Christ, 2 Corinthians 1:20, who is the faithful witness, Revelation 3:14. May all glory go to Him as you keep planting, keep watering, and keep praying, trusting Him for the growth and for the salvation that belongs to Him alone.
