Kindness of God Leads us to Repentance ⏎ from Sin Rom 2:4, Planting+ Watering = God's Growth 1 Cor 3:6-7, His Glory in Salvation Ps 115:1, Salvation Belongs to The Lord Ps 3:8; Jonah 2:9, Salvation Belongs to Our God, Who Sits Upon The Throne, and Unto The Lamb, Rev 7:2, Holy Spirit's Work Jn 16:8, Humbling Restoring Dan 4:28-37 2 Co 7:9-10... Father, we thank You that Your Word does not return void, but like the rain and snow come down from heaven to water the earth and make it vivacious, so is the Word effective in fulfilling the purposes You have ordained for it to accomplish, Isa 55:10-11. Thank You the seed is the Word of God, and that seeds have been planted, Mark 4:14, Mark 4:26, Mark 4:27, Mark 4:28, Mark 4:29. From You and through You and back to You be all glory, Rom 11:36. Please continue working on this "still current wife's heart" by bringing fresh truth, restraining evil and carrying any work You've begun on to completion until the day of Christ, Phil 1:6. CONTINUE to bring others into her path to water seeds, speak truth and show the kindness of God, Rom 2:4, and across the paths of all who have heard the word from all time, especially the last several months, especially for our patriarchal and matriarchal figures, progeny and posterity. Since the steps of the righteous are ordered by You, Ps 37:23, as evidenced by the evangelist and the foreign official reading Isaiah 53 in Acts 8:26-31, the believer in Acts 9:10-11 who was told to go find the future Apostle to the Gentiles, and the Apostles directed to go help a certain man, Acts 16:6-10. You, being perfect AND patient, not willing any perish but rather that all come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9, and desire all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, even using prayer to that ends, 1 Tim 2:1-4.

Thanksgiving for our prayers that You are actively using, as "The Word of God is Living and Active and Sharper than any Two-edged Sword, Piercing as far as division of Soul and Spirit, and Judging the Thoughts and Intents of The Heart," Heb 4:12. "My Father is Always Working Even Until Now, And I Myself am Working," Jesus, John 5:17...

Thank You we and they ARE currently hearing Your Word by The Holy Spirit, John 16:8, we believe before honor comes humility, Prov 18:12, You are humbling those who need to be humbled, Dan 4:37 that they come to their senses, Dan 4:34, 2 Tim 2:26, as the prodigal in Luke 15:17, and Hosea's wife in Hos 2:6-7, and we are experiencing Your Protection as YOU Keep us, them, progeny, folks, ministry partners, fellow servants of Christ and stewards of The Mysteries of The Word of God, 1 Cor 4:1-2, and us ALL from evil, deception, lies, temptation, sin, evil people and the evil one by receiving the love of the truth that we may be saved, 2 Thes 2:9-10. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, thank You for being a rewarder of diligent seeking, Heb 11:6, and that fervent prayers of those made righteous by faith avail much and prevail, James 5:16. Thank You for all this and more, great and mighty things, Jer 33:3, beyond all we can ask of imagine, Eph 3:20, in Jesus’ Name, John 14:13-14, The Amen, Faithful Witness, Origin of God's Creation, Rev 3:14, in Messiah are all the Promises Inherited, Yes and Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join you in thanking God for His kindness that leads to repentance and for the confidence we have that salvation belongs wholly to Him. You have anchored this request in the truth of scripture and we agree with you that it is God who gives the growth.

We love how you have set your heart on Rom 2:4 which says Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and patience, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance. It is not pressure or striving that softens a heart, but His goodness. And we agree that our part is to plant and water in faith while trusting Him for the increase, for as it is written in 1 Cor 3:6-7 I planted. Apollos watered. But God gave the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. All glory belongs to Him alone as Ps 115:1 declares Not to us, Yahweh, not to us, but to your name give glory, for your loving kindness, and for your truth's sake, and as Ps 3:8 and Jonah 2:9 remind us Salvation belongs to Yahweh and Salvation is of Yahweh.

We are encouraged by your stand for the covenant of marriage. We believe with you that marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman ordained by God, and we honor your reference to your still current wife. We pray with you for God to guard and restore that covenant and for His perfect will to be done in your family, for your progeny and posterity and for the patriarchal and matriarchal figures you mentioned. God hates the breaking of covenant and He is able to humble, to restrain evil, and to bring to completion what He has begun as Phil 1:6 promises being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.

We agree with your prayer that the Word which has been sown will not return void. As Isa 55:10-11 says For as the rain comes down and the snow from the sky, and doesn't return there, but waters the earth, and makes it grow and bud, and gives seed to the sower and bread to the eater; so is my word that goes out of my mouth: it will not return to me void, but it will accomplish that which I please, and it will prosper in the thing I sent it to do. The seed is the Word of God as Mark 4:14 teaches, and whether it is sown through planting in Mark 4:26-29 or watered by another faithful witness, from Him and through Him and to Him are all things as Rom 11:36 declares To him be the glory forever. Amen.

We also stand with you in asking the Lord to continue ordering steps and bringing divine appointments to water those seeds, just as He did when He sent Philip to the Ethiopian official reading Isaiah in Acts 8:26-31, when He sent Ananias to Saul in Acts 9:10-11, and when He directed Paul through a vision to Macedonia in Acts 16:6-10. We trust with you that Ps 37:23 is true that A man's goings are established by Yahweh. He delights in his way. We thank God that He is patient, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance as 2 Pet 3:9 says, and that He desires all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, and calls us to pray to that end as 1 Tim 2:1-4 teaches.

We give thanks with you that the Word of God is living and active as Heb 4:12 says For the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And that our Father is always working as Jesus said in John 5:17 But Jesus answered them, My Father is still working, so I am working, also. We ask the Holy Spirit to continue His convicting work as John 16:8 promises He will convict the world about sin, about righteousness, and about judgment, and to bring humility before honor as Prov 18:12 teaches Before destruction the heart of man is proud, but before honor is humility. We pray that as He humbled Nebuchadnezzar in Dan 4:28-37 who afterward declared Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, He would grant repentance that leads to coming to one's senses as in Dan 4:34 and 2 Tim 2:26 and as the prodigal did when he came to himself in Luke 15:17 and as Hosea's wife was hedged in that she might return in Hos 2:6-7.

We join you in praying for protection for you, for your wife, for your children and extended family, for ministry partners and fellow servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God as 1 Cor 4:1-2 describes, that you all would be kept from evil, deception, and temptation and would receive the love of the truth that you may be saved as 2 Thess 2:10 warns. We thank God in advance by faith as Mark 11:24 encourages Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them, knowing He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him as Heb 11:6 says, and that The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective as James 5:16 teaches.

Father, we thank You together for Your faithfulness to Your Word and Your mercy that pursues hearts. We ask You to continue to bring fresh truth, to restrain evil, to water every seed sown over these many months, and to carry on to completion every good work You have begun in this wife, in this family, and in all who have heard Your Word. Let Your kindness lead to godly sorrow that works repentance as 2 Cor 7:9-10 describes, let humility precede restoration, and let Your protection surround each one. Call forth laborers to speak truth in love and show Your kindness. We ask You to reveal Yourself as the One to whom salvation belongs, who sits on the throne and unto the Lamb as Rev 7:10 proclaims, and to answer beyond all we can ask or imagine as Eph 3:20 says and to show great and mighty things as Jer 33:3 promises. We ask all this in the name of Jesus, for as John 14:13-14 assures Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it, and we rest in Him who is the Amen, the Faithful Witness as Rev 3:14 says, in whom all the promises are Yes and Amen as 2 Cor 1:20 declares.

We hear the gratitude and steady love in your prayer, especially for your wife and for your family across generations. Coming before the Lord with thanksgiving while you are still waiting is itself an act of faith, and we join you in it.

What you described about planting and watering and leaving the growth to God is a helpful picture to hold onto. We can be faithful to pray, to speak truth with kindness, and to show consistent love, while remembering that only God can work in a heart. That keeps us from carrying a weight we were never meant to carry and helps us stay patient as He works in His own timing and way.

One simple thing that helps many in a long season like this is to keep your own rhythm sustainable, a regular time to bring your wife, your children and extended family before the Lord, and staying close to a few trusted believers who know your story and can walk with you week by week and encourage you.

Father, we thank You that You hear and that You are at work even when we cannot see it. We ask You to keep guarding and drawing each heart that has been mentioned toward truth, to protect them from evil and deception, and to give wisdom, strength and peace as he waits on You. Carry to completion what You have begun, for Your glory. In Jesus' name, amen.
