Beloved of All
🙌 Father, we thank You that Your Word does not return void, Isa 55:10, and that seeds have been planted, Mark 4:14, Mark 4:26, Mark 4:27, Mark 4:28, Mark 4:29. From You and through You and back to You be all glory, Rom 11:36. Please continue working on this "still current wife's heart" by bringing fresh truth, restraining evil and carrying any work You've begun on to completion until the day of Christ, Phil 1:6. Continue to bring others into her path to water seeds, speak truth and show the kindness of God, Rom 2:4, and across the paths of all who have heard the word from all time, especially the last several months, especially for our patriarchal and matriarchal figures, progeny and posterity. Since the steps of the righteous are ordered by You, Ps 37:23, as evidenced by the evangelist and the foreign official reading Isaiah 53 in Acts 8:26-31, the believer in Acts 9:10-11 who was told to go find the future Apostle to the Gentiles, and the Apostles directed to go help a certain man, Acts 16:6-10. You, being perfect AND patient, not willing any perish but rather that all come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9, and desire all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, even using prayer to that ends, 1 Tim 2:1-4.

🙌 Thanksgiving for our prayers that You are actively using, as "The Word of God is Living and Active and Sharper than any Two-edged Sword, Piercing as far as division of Soul and Spirit, and Judging the Thoughts and Intents of The Heart," Heb 4:12. "My Father is Always Working Even Until Now, And I Myself am Working," Jesus, John 5:17...

🙌 Thank You we and they ARE currently hearing Your Word by The Holy Spirit, John 16:8, we believe before honor comes humility, Prov 18:12, You are humbling those who need to be humbled, Dan 4:37 that they come to their senses, Dan 4:34, 2 Tim 2:26, as the prodigal in Luke 15:17, and Hosea's wife in Hos 2:6-7, and we are experiencing Your Protection as YOU Keep us, them, progeny, folks, ministry partners, fellow servants of Christ and stewards of The Mysteries of The Word of God, 1 Cor 4:1-2, and us ALL from evil, deception, lies, temptation, sin, evil people and the evil one by receiving the love of the truth that we may be saved, 2 Thes 2:9-10. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, thank You for being a rewarder of diligent seeking, Heb 11:6, and that fervent prayers of those made righteous by faith avail much and prevail, James 5:16. Thank You for all this and more, great and mighty things, Jer 33:3, beyond all we can ask of imagine, Eph 3:20, in Jesus’ Name, John 14:13-14, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We hear your heartfelt cry for this wife’s soul, and we stand with you in fervent agreement before the throne of grace. The Scriptures you’ve woven together declare God’s unchanging character, He is patient, not willing that any should perish (2 Peter 3:9), and His kindness is meant to lead us to repentance (Romans 2:4). We rejoice that seeds of truth have been planted, for the Word of God does not return void (Isaiah 55:10-11). The Holy Spirit is actively convicting of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), and we trust that He who began a good work in her will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6).

Yet we must also speak plainly: if this wife is still bound in unrepentant sin, whether through hardness of heart, ungodly influences, or rebellion against the Lord’s design for marriage, we must call it what it is. The Lord hates divorce (Malachi 2:16), but He also hates when His covenant is defiled by unfaithfulness, bitterness, or a refusal to submit to His order. If she is walking in willful disobedience, we must pray for the godly sorrow that leads to repentance (2 Corinthians 7:9-10), not the worldly sorrow that brings death. The steps of the righteous are ordered by the Lord (Psalm 37:23), but the wicked stumble in darkness (Proverbs 4:19). Which path is she walking?

We also lift up the patriarchs and matriarchs in this situation, those who have labored in prayer, spoken truth in love, and sought to water these seeds. The Lord sees your faithfulness (1 Corinthians 3:6-7) and will reward it. But we must guard our own hearts, lest we grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9). The enemy would love to sow discord, pride, or self-righteousness among those interceding. Let us remain humble, remembering that it is God who gives the growth.

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we may be saved (Acts 4:12). We thank You that Your Word is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). We ask that You would pierce this wife’s heart with Your truth, that she would come to her senses as the prodigal did (Luke 15:17) and return to You with all her heart. Restrain every evil influence that seeks to harden her, and send laborers across her path to water the seeds that have been planted. Humble her, Lord, for You resist the proud but give grace to the humble (James 4:6). If there is sin she is clinging to, whether bitterness, unbelief, or rebellion, convict her mightily by Your Spirit.

We pray for the husband and family in this situation. Strengthen them to walk in righteousness, to speak truth in love, and to cover this wife in prayer without wavering. Protect them from the schemes of the evil one, who seeks to devour (1 Peter 5:8). Let Your peace guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Lord, we thank You that You are always working (John 5:17) and that Your plans cannot be thwarted (Job 42:2). We trust that You will complete the work You have begun. May this wife experience the kindness of God that leads to repentance, and may she be restored to You and to her family in a way that brings glory to Your name. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus, for Your kingdom and Your glory. Amen.

We join you in thanking God that His Word is at work, and we’re grateful for the trust you place in His power to pursue and soften hearts. The burden you carry for your wife’s heart, and for so many others in your family line, comes through clearly, and it’s a mark of real love to persist in hope like this.

Sometimes the Spirit’s work moves in quiet, gradual cycles that feel slow to our eyes. Growth rarely runs in a straight line; there may be plateaus, or even moments that look like retreat, before true repentance and restoration blossom. This doesn’t mean nothing is happening, it’s the way a seed grows underground for a season before the first green shoot appears. While you keep praying, one simple, steady way to support that process is to continue showing the kindness of God in tangible, pressure-free ways: a thoughtful meal, a listening ear, helping with an everyday task. Such acts of care often melt resistance faster than many words, and they keep the door of relationship open.

We also stand with you for the wide circle you’ve named, your extended family, those who’ve heard the word, and all whom the Spirit is drawing. May the seeds already planted be faithfully watered by others who cross their paths.

Lord, we lift this wife to You. Continue Your gentle, firm work in her heart. Guard her from deception, lead her into true humility that opens the way to healing, and surround her with people who show Your kindness and speak truth in love. Strengthen the one who prays this prayer with fresh patience and courage, and keep hope alive. We entrust every generation to Your faithful hand, trusting You to complete what You have begun. In Jesus’ name, amen.

What you have laid before the throne of grace is a prayer after the very mind of God, woven with the threads of Holy Scripture. It is a comfort to see a soul so steeped in the promises that you entreat the Almighty with His own words, for He cannot deny Himself. The singular cry for the "still current wife's heart" holds a sacred place, for the Lord often works in the secret chambers of the soul long before any outward fruit appears. As I have said, the Law and terrors do but harden while they work alone, but it is a sense of blood-bought pardon that dissolves the heart of stone. You are pleading not for a mere outward reformation, a repentance that springs from terror and withers in a night, but for that evangelical repentance which is the work of the Spirit and gives God glory.

The kindness of God is the mighty argument. When you pray for others to be brought into her path to show this kindness, you are striking the rock in the right place, for His goodness leads to repentance. The heart that is won by love is truly won indeed. When a sinner sees that God has set His heart on man and given, oh, wonder of wonders, given Himself, that self-sacrificing lovingkindness melts the ice of the soul. This is the process you are asking for: that she would be led, like the prodigal, not merely by the pinch of hunger, but by the memory of the Father’s house, to come to her senses and arise.

Take heart from the very posture of your prayer. You ask for a broken and a contrite heart, which is the sacrifice God will never despise. But remember, even this is a creation. You cannot draw it up from the depths of your own well; Christ must work it in you and in her by His Holy Spirit. "Create in me a clean heart, O God." He is the watchmaker who best cleans the watch He made. Your reliance on the Spirit's work in John 16:8 is sure ground; He alone convicts in a way that leaves a soul not in hard despair, but with a tender, bleeding heart that looks to the wounds of Christ and bleeds because it wounded Him. This is repentance unto life, a life-long act that will grow until the day we enter heaven.

Do not be mistaken by delays. He who has the key of the heart may turn the lock so silently that the hour of His entrance is unobserved. Conversion often comes in a still, small voice. As with the blacksmith moved by a single potent argument, so a look, a word, or a simple act of persistent kindness can be the means of turning a soul. You are planting and watering; a thousand seemingly fruitless sermons and a hundred unanswered prayers are yet in the hands of the Great Farmer. He sends the dew and the rain in their season. Let the seed lie in the ground without your digging it up to inspect it; the promise is that it springs and grows up, the sower knows not how.

Yet, let this truth be a sweet drop in your cup: your own earnest supplication is one of the earliest fruits of Divine visitation, and your humble reliance on free grace is the true token of pardon. He who has given you to pray so fervently for this erring one has not cast off His own inheritance. Stand with your loins girt, watching at the window towards Jerusalem without a single doubt, for the prayer of faith is already a receiving. The steps of the righteous are indeed ordered, and even now, the path may be converging with some Philip or Ananias, or a path of hedged-up thorns, until the soul, hearing a voice behind it saying, "This is the way," finds that its turning is met by the wide-open arms of a returning God. The Lord grant that soon you shall know the gladness of one saying, "My own heart has been ravished with a new argument; I am undone, yet made whole by His marvelous lovingkindness."

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The prayer you have lifted up is rich with the promises of God, and you do well to cling to them. Yet let us attend carefully to the whole counsel of Scripture, lest in celebrating the kindness of God we overlook the fearful reality of a heart that hardens itself against that very kindness. The Apostle says, “Do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance? But in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God.” Here is deep comfort and deep terror mingled together. God’s goodness is intended to draw us; He is patient, not willing that any perish. Yet if one continues to resist, it is not God who becomes harsh, but the sinner who stores up wrath against the day of judgment. So while you thank Him that seeds have been planted and that His word does not return void, also tremble for one who may have tasted the heavenly gift and the powers of the age to come, and yet tarries in sin. For it is a fearful thing to crucify the Son of God afresh by a deliberate turning away.

But do not let despair creep in, for repentance is not excluded. Repentance there is, and it has great force. It is able to set free even the one who has come to the very depth of wickedness, to raise up him who has fallen, and to form Christ anew in the soul. David found it after grievous sin; the apostles received it after cowardice and unbelief. Yet mark this: repentance is no mere shedding of tears or crying out under affliction. Esau sought it carefully with tears and found no place for it, because his sorrow was not a true, godly sorrow. It was the grief of this world that produces death, not the sorrow that leads to salvation. Pray therefore earnestly that the Holy Spirit would work in her a genuine brokenness, a holy humiliation like that of the prodigal when he came to himself, or of Nebuchadnezzar when he lifted his eyes to heaven and his understanding returned. That is the work of the Spirit, who convicts the world of sin and righteousness and judgment. And you may be confident that He is able to bring this about, for the steps of the righteous are indeed ordered by the Lord.

But see that you yourself do not hinder this work by impatience or bitterness. Remember that you too were saved not by works of righteousness but by His mercy, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit. Let your own life be a living display of that mercy. The kindness of God is meant to be shown through His people, so be careful to season your speech with grace and to walk in humility, so that if she stumbles she will encounter in you not a harsh judge but a fellow beggar who has found bread. Continue steadfastly in prayer, for the fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. But having committed her to God, do not be anxious. He who began a good work is faithful to complete it; He who commanded the light to shine out of darkness is able to shine in her heart. Wait on the Lord, for His timing is perfect and His arm is not shortened. And give thanks always, not only for what He has done, but for what He shall do, for truly He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think.

You are trusting the Lord to complete what He has begun, and that is exactly the posture of faith. God is the one who places desires in the heart, not the passing wishes of our own making, but the steady, persistent burdens He forms within us so that He can then work to fulfill them. The fact that you continue to pray for this wife’s heart, that you yearn for her to come to repentance and to know the kindness of God, is itself evidence that He has put that yearning in you. He works in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure, and He will continue to unfold the way forward.

What you are watching for is a work of the heart, and that is always where God’s Spirit operates. Outward conformity can be manufactured for a time, but a heart that has genuinely turned is a creation only He can fashion. True repentance tears the heart, not just the garments. It is a change at the deepest level, not a surface resolve that will crumble when circumstances shift. You have asked Him to humble where humbling is needed, to bring her to her senses, to reveal truth. Those prayers are in step with the way God draws prodigals, by awakening a hunger for home that nothing else can satisfy. The kindness of God leads to repentance, and that kindness often shows up through the people He places across a person’s path to water seeds that have already been planted.

Remember that God is patient, not willing that any should perish. His timing is not our timing. As long as the Spirit is striving, there is hope. The Scriptures you have prayed show that God orders steps and orchestrates encounters, Philip with the official, Ananias with Saul, the apostles directed to Macedonia. He knows exactly where she is and exactly what voice she needs to hear next. He will send others to speak truth and demonstrate His kindness, just as you have asked.

There is also a warning to hold gently in your heart: a heart can be hardened by repeated refusal, and that hardening can become fixed. This is why your prayers matter so much. When you pray that she would receive the love of the truth, you are asking God to keep her heart soft toward His voice. You are asking Him to prevent the stiffening that comes when a person resists conviction again and again. Pray that she would not do despite to the Spirit of grace who is even now speaking.

In the meantime, your own heart’s condition before God is what He is guarding as well. The desire you carry is not meant to become an idol of its own, a burden you were never designed to bear alone. Keep surrendering the outcome to Him. The prayer of a righteous person, made righteous by faith, is powerful and effective. You have asked according to His will, and He hears you.

Take heart from the parable of the growing seed. The farmer scatters seed and then sleeps and rises through weeks he does not control, while the earth produces by itself, first the blade, then the head, then the full grain. God is the one who gives the growth. You have planted. You are watering. Others will water as well. And He who began a good work will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
