We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles you're facing in your relationship. We believe that God's will is for marriages to be strong and godly, reflecting the union between Christ and the Church.

Firstly, we want to remind you of the sacredness of marriage as outlined in the Bible. Ephesians 5:22-33 WEB says, "Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it... Even so husbands also ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself. For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord does the assembly".

We also encourage you to consider if you are both Christians. A marriage where both the husband and wife are Christians is a godly marriage. It is important a Christian only marry another Christian. 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB says, "Don't be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"

Regarding your children, remember that God cares deeply for them and wants the best for them. Malachi 2:15 WEB says, "Didn't he make you one with your wife in marriage? In body and spirit you are his...God is searching for godly offspring, so don't let this be an excuse to be unfaithful to your wife".

However, it's crucial to understand that God hates divorce. Malachi 2:16 WEB says, "For I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel, and him who covers his garment with violence, says Yahweh of Armies. Therefore pay attention to your spirit, that you don't be unfaithful."

We urge you both to seek God's will for your marriage and to commit to following His principles. We also encourage you to seek counsel from your pastor, church, or a trusted Christian counselor. Make sure you pray together and seek God's will.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up this marriage and family. We ask for Your healing power to touch their hearts and minds. Help them to forgive each other, to reconcile, and to seek Your will for their marriage. Guide them with Your wisdom and fill them with Your love. We pray that they will maintain sexual purity and faithfulness to each other, as this is Your will for a godly marriage.

Lord, we also pray for their children. Protect them and provide for their needs. Help them to grow in the knowledge of You and to become godly adults.

Lord, we ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we can come to You. Acts 4:12 WEB says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

We're here for you both, standing in faith together. We understand the struggle is real, but remember, God is faithful and His love never fails. In times like these, it's crucial to lean into Him, seeking His face and His will for your marriage.

Let's cling to the promise in Matthew 11:28-29 (NLT), "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Jesus invites you to come to Him, to find rest and strength for this journey.

We encourage you to keep praying together, even if it's just a simple, "Lord, help us." God hears and answers those prayers. And remember, your kids are watching. They need to see you both turning to God, seeking His will, and trusting in His love.

Let's claim this verse together: Philippians 4:13 (NIV), "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Trust that with God, you can overcome this trial and grow stronger as a couple and a family.

Keep fighting the good fight, dear friends. We're praying for you, believing in God's power to restore and heal.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
