Keep us safe

We lift this request to our Heavenly Father, who is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We thank You, Lord, for Your promise of protection and peace, for You are our shield and fortress (Psalm 91:2). We ask that You surround this day with Your divine safety, guarding hearts, minds, and bodies from harm, both seen and unseen. May Your angels encamp around those who trust in You, delivering them from every danger (Psalm 34:7).

Father, we also ask for Your blessing of coolness in the midst of life’s heat, whether it be physical, emotional, or spiritual. Refresh weary souls with Your living water, that they may not grow faint (Isaiah 40:31). Grant energy and strength to those who feel drained, for Your Word declares that those who wait upon You shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles (Isaiah 40:31). May this day be filled with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guarding hearts in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or weariness in the name of Jesus, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand firm in the truth that You are our ever-present help.

Lord, we pray that as this day unfolds, Your presence would go before, behind, and beside, leading in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake (Psalm 23:3). May every step be ordered by You, and may Your peace rule in hearts. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for there is no other name by which we can approach You or be saved (Acts 4:12). Amen.

Thank you for sharing this prayer with us. We’re glad to join you in asking for these simple, daily gifts, safety, peace, a cool day, energy, and strength. It’s a quiet reminder that we need God not just in crises but in every ordinary hour, and He welcomes that dependence.

As you move through the day, one small practice can help steady your heart: when you notice stress or tiredness creeping in, pause and breathe the same request you sent us. Whisper, “Jesus, be my peace and my strength right now.” You aren’t carrying this day alone; we’re standing with you, and He remains close.

Father, we lift up this dear person and any they are with today. In Jesus’ name, surround them with Your protection, keep them safe from harm and accident. Pour Your steady peace into their mind and body. Grant them refreshment, whether through a manageable schedule, a cool breeze, or simply resilient energy. Supply the strength they need for each moment, and let them sense Your presence walking with them through it all. Amen.

He keeps him in perfect peace, peace, peace, whose mind is stayed upon Him. This peace is not a mute stillness but the vibrant rest of one who trusts. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, even with sorrows surging round. In thronging duties pressed, to do the will of Jesus, this is rest. Look to Him and you shall find it so this very day.

For cool, for energy, for strength, these come not from the creature’s fading store. They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. Strengthened in the Lord is a singular form of energy, the glory of which lies in God alone. He gives power to the faint and, to them that have no might, He increases strength. Draw back, breathe a prayer for more, and take your leap in His name.

When you feel the day’s burden, remember He daily loads you with benefits. Blessed be Jehovah, whether the daily load of His benefits falls or the gates of grace swing wide. Your safety lies not in the valley’s imagined security but in Him who is able to keep you from falling. In Jesus’ keeping we are safe, and they, all your loved ones, near or far. So hold this world with a loose hand, dying daily to its clamor, and your strength shall be restored right speedily.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You ask for safety and peace, but consider well what the apostle says: when men speak of peace and safety, sudden destruction comes upon them as travail upon a woman with child. This he spake of those who live in luxury and insensibility, thinking themselves secure while they give no heed to their souls. True safety is not the absence of trouble but the calm of a good conscience. The man who follows after virtue stands superior to all terrors, not in fair weather only, but when the storm is vehement and the temptations continual, he cannot be shaken ever so little. This is the strength of virtue even in the present life: to live in safety, to be easily subdued by no terror, to stand above all that despitefully use us. Not even he that wears the diadem can provide this for himself, but only the man who pursues holiness.

And what is this peace you seek? Peace is not a trifling matter, nor is concord in every case a good thing, for even robbers agree together. The peace that Christ gives is the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace. This peace comes when the diseased is cut off, when the mutinous part is removed. If we will be at peace with each other, God too will be with us, but if we raise up war, the God of peace will not be with us. Nothing is so hostile to the soul as vice; peace and virtue place it in safety.

You pray for energy and strength. Then seek them where they are truly found. It is not greatness of power, not abundance of wealth, not strength of body that produces good spirits and joy, but spiritual success and a good conscience alone. He that hath this cleansed, even though he be clad in rags and struggling with famine, is of better spirits than they that live softly. Paul, living in continual hunger and nakedness and scourged every day, was joyful and went more softly than the emperors. But Ahab, though a king indulging in sumptuous luxury, when he had done one sin, groaned and was out of spirits.

If you wish to enjoy pleasure and true refreshment, above all things shun wickedness and follow after virtue. Bring forth fruits meet for repentance, not only forsaking former evil deeds but showing forth good deeds greater than those. Have you seized the goods of others? Give away even your own. Have you lived in self-indulgence? Fast and take care to drink water. Do not merely pluck out the dart, but apply remedies to the wound. Depart from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.

The angels proclaimed glory to God in the highest and on earth peace, good will toward men. This peace is the mother of all good things, the foundation of joy. Each believer hath an angel, and we ask everywhere for the angel of peace. But this peace is not merely spoken with the lips; it must be pursued with a sober and watchful life, as in the presence of tutors. For if we have angels, let us be sober. There is a demon present also.

Keep then a conversation worthy of the gift and hold on in peace and holiness. The gift of sanctification and adoption is not broken through even by death, but even here maketh men conspicuous and departs with us upon the journey to the life to come. He that holdeth on in the adoption and keepeth an exact watch upon his holiness is much brighter and happier than he that is arrayed with the diadem itself. He hath the delight of abundant peace in the present life, is nurtured up with goodly hopes, and hath no ground for worry and disturbance, but enjoys constant pleasure. This fruit let us keep growing by us, that we may be in the fruition of joy here and may obtain the kingdom to come.

When you ask for safety and peace, you are reaching for something God delights to give. The Scripture promises that the Lord will keep in perfect peace the one whose mind is stayed on Him, because he trusts in Him. That peace is not a fragile calm that depends on the quietness of your surroundings; it is the very peace Jesus left with His disciples, a peace the world cannot give and cannot understand. It flows first from being at peace with God through the blood of Jesus Christ. He made peace for you, so that the war inside can cease and you can know His smile of approval over your life.

The Lord is your strength and your shield. When your own energy feels drained and you need cool, refreshing power for the day, you are not left to muster it up yourself. In the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength. He gives strength to His people, and He blesses His people with peace. You can face the chaos and the heat of the day with your heart trusting in Him, and you will be helped. As you keep your eyes on Jesus and consecrate this day to Him, He will be your safety from the front and your protection from the rear. No matter what lies ahead, He is watching over you.

May He lift up His countenance upon you right now and give you peace. May He fill you with the peace that passes all understanding, guarding your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus. And may you walk through this day in the strength of the Lord, refreshed and kept safe in His care. In Jesus’ name, amen.
