We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We have continued to lift you up before the Lord over these past days and we have been remembering your broken heart and the deep hurt you shared with us.
We have been praying specifically about the pain your family has caused by being concerned only with money and showing no concern for you, and about the struggle with neighbours who do not care and only want to take over while the real issues remain undealt with. We have also brought before the Lord how you have felt like a leper among them and how you have been made to feel disabled and of no use and of no value. We have prayed for the hurt over your younger sister who calls you bonkers and has taken over everything, who has a good job and receives money and favour from your parents while you have received no help or support and have no home, even though you once worked alongside your brother and now feel ignored and overlooked.
We want you to know that you are precious and deeply valued by God and you are not forgotten by Him. Though you feel cast aside and useless, the Lord sees you and loves you and draws near to the brokenhearted as we are reminded in Psalm 34:18 and Psalm 147:3. When family forsakes us the Lord will take us up as promised in Psalm 27:10. You are fearfully and wonderfully made and you have worth in Christ.
Father we lift up our friend to You right now and ask You to heal this broken heart and to let Your presence and comfort be known in a powerful way. We ask You to provide help and support and a home and to supply every need according to Your riches. We ask You to work in the hearts of family members and neighbours and to bring truth and justice and reconciliation where it is Your will, and to silence the hurtful words spoken against this dear one. We ask You to restore a sense of purpose and hope and to remind our friend that there is usefulness and dignity in You. We pray this in Jesus Name Amen.
