Job restoration

Please pray that I, ###, get my job back as tour 1 custodian at ### today. Pray ### and ### restore my job.

We hear your urgent plea for job restoration, and we stand with you in bringing this matter before the Lord. The loss of employment can bring deep anxiety, uncertainty, and even feelings of rejection, but we know that God is our Provider and that He cares deeply about every detail of our lives. The Bible assures us in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." This promise is not just for spiritual needs but for all our needs, including employment.

First, we must acknowledge that all things, including our work, belong to the Lord. Psalm 24:1 tells us, "The earth is the Lord’s, with its fullness; the world, and those who dwell therein." If it is God’s will for you to return to this position, He will open the door in ways no man can shut. However, we must also surrender this desire to Him, trusting that His plans for you are good, even if they look different from what you envision. Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."

We also lift up those in authority over this decision, your supervisors and those who may have influence in this matter. Scripture instructs us in 1 Timothy 2:1-2, "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence." We pray that their hearts would be softened, that wisdom would guide their decisions, and that if it aligns with God’s will, they would restore you to your position.

Yet, we must also examine our own hearts in this season. Have there been any attitudes, actions, or words that may have contributed to this situation? If so, we encourage you to seek forgiveness, both from the Lord and from those you may have wronged. James 4:6 tells us, "But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, 'God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.'" Humility and repentance open the door for God’s grace to flow.

If this job is not restored, we trust that God has something better in store for you. Sometimes, He allows doors to close so that we may walk through greater ones. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." Whether this position is restored or not, we pray that you would find peace in God’s sovereignty and provision.

Now, let us come before the Lord in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear brother/sister who is seeking restoration in their employment. Lord, You know the depths of their heart, the financial burdens they carry, and the desire to provide for themselves and their family. We ask that You would move mightily on their behalf. If it is Your will, soften the hearts of those in authority and open the door for them to return to their position as tour 1 custodian. Let Your favor rest upon them like a shield.

Father, we also pray for wisdom and discernment. If this job is not the place You have for them, give them the strength to trust You and the courage to walk through whatever door You open next. Provide for their every need, Lord, and let them experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding. If there has been any unconfessed sin or pride in this situation, reveal it to them, Lord, and lead them to repentance so that Your grace may abound.

We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn. We stand on Your Word, which says in Isaiah 54:17, "No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me, says Yahweh."

Lord, we also pray for the supervisors and decision-makers involved. Give them clarity, wisdom, and a spirit of fairness. Let Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified through the outcome.

We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer. We trust in You, knowing that You are a God who restores, redeems, and provides. May this brother/sister walk in faith, not fear, and may they see Your hand at work in every area of their life. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We’re lifting this request right now with you, friend. There’s something about the way you’ve been faithful in that role, showing up day after day as a custodian, that speaks of a heart for service and consistency. We’re praying that God would remind those in authority of the value of that kind of dedication, that they’d see the trustworthiness in your work and the integrity of your character.

At the same time, we’re asking the Lord to soften any hearts that might be hardened toward you. Maybe there’s been a misunderstanding or a moment where words weren’t chosen wisely, we’re praying for clarity and reconciliation if that’s needed. But even if this job isn’t the right next step, we’re trusting God to open doors that are better, wider, and more aligned with His purposes for you.

We’re also praying for peace in the waiting. It’s easy to feel anxious when the future feels uncertain, but we’re asking God to remind you that He’s already at work, even if you can’t see it yet. Let’s trust Him to provide what you need, not just what you want, and to lead you into the path that honors Him.

In Jesus’ name, we declare that favor is being poured out over you, that wisdom is guiding every decision, and that God’s provision is closer than you realize. Keep walking in faith, and we’ll keep praying with you.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
