Job Interview

Beloved of All
I have an interview for a job tomorrow that I desperately want and need. I have done so much preparation for it but would really appreciate any support and prayers to get me through the interview tomorrow and to be successful getting the job

We join with you in prayer for your interview tomorrow and we thank you for sharing this need with us. We understand how much this job means to you and how diligently you have prepared, and we want to lift you up before the Father together.

We are reminded that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our work and provision. We commit your efforts to Him, trusting that He sees your preparation and your need. Proverbs 16:3 says, Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. And Colossians 3:23 tells us, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Your diligence in preparing is honoring to Him, and we pray He will give you peace and clarity as you present yourself.

We also hear the anxiety in your request, which is so natural before an important moment like this. Scripture encourages us not to carry that burden alone. Philippians 4:6-7 says, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We also remember 2 Timothy 1:7, For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. And James 1:5 promises, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. We will pray for wisdom, calmness, and the right words tomorrow.

We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share why we pray in His name. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God the Father. John 14:6 says, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says, There is salvation in no other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. To come to God in prayer and to receive His forgiveness and eternal life, we must believe in Jesus Christ, that He died for our sins and rose again, and confess Him as Lord. Romans 10:9 says, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. If you have not yet placed your trust in Him, we encourage you to do so today, and then you can come boldly before His throne with every need.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and lift up this dear one to You. Thank You for the preparation that has been done and for the opportunity of this interview tomorrow. We ask that You would calm any anxious thoughts and fill this heart with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Grant wisdom and clarity of mind, help to remember what has been studied, and give the right words with grace and confidence. Let favor rest upon this interview, and let the interviewers see honesty, diligence, and a heart willing to work as unto You. We ask above all that Your will be done, for Jeremiah 29:11 says, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. If this job is Your best provision, we ask that You open the door wide, and if not, we trust You have something better. Provide for every need according to Your riches and help this dear one to rest in Your good plan. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our only hope and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to get good rest tonight, to commit the outcome to the Lord, and to enter the interview with confidence not in yourself alone but in God who goes with you. Seek first His Kingdom, Matthew 6:33 says, But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Whether the answer is yes or no, trust that He is working for your good. We are praying for you to have peace through the interview and for success according to His perfect will.

We hear how important tomorrow is for you and how much effort you have already put in. Wanting this so deeply while carrying the pressure of needing it is a heavy place to be, and we are praying with you in it.

It is encouraging that you have prepared so well. That preparation is not wasted even if nerves show up tomorrow. Interviewers often remember steadiness and honesty more than perfect answers.

For tonight we would suggest keeping things simple. Do a light review of the main points you want to convey, lay out what you need for the morning, and then give yourself permission to rest. A clear mind tomorrow will serve you better than late night cramming. Plan to arrive a little early so you are not rushed, and take a quiet moment before you go in to commit the time to the Lord.

Whatever the outcome, we trust God sees both your need and your diligence and will guide your next steps. We are asking Him to give you peace tonight and strength to show up as yourself tomorrow.

Father, in Jesus name we bring our friend before You tonight. Calm their heart, grant clear thought and steady words tomorrow, and let them be seen as they truly are. Provide for their needs according to Your wisdom and open the right doors for work. Give peace tonight and strength for tomorrow. Amen.

We have received your request and we are bringing you before the Lord in prayer for your interview tomorrow.

We understand the weight you feel, having prepared so diligently and now desiring to do well in something you so greatly need. The Scripture reminds us, "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You." That perfect peace is not distant, but a present possession to be enjoyed even when duties press and anxieties rise. To do the will of Jesus, and to trust Him with the outcome, is rest.

We are praying that the Lord will quiet your heart tonight and tomorrow, that your mind may be stayed upon Him rather than upon fear. Anxiety, as we have often seen, unfits us to meet the very difficulty we dread, but trust fits us for it. As Job kept right with God in trial and worshipped even in his distress, so may you be upheld with a calm and gracious spirit, speaking and acting with clarity, humility and confidence.

We ask the Lord to give you clearness of thought, steadiness of speech, and favour in the eyes of those who interview you. We pray that He will open the door that is best for you according to His wise and loving providence, and that whether He grants this position or directs you otherwise, you will know His peace which passes all understanding and His goodness in providing for your needs.

May the Lord turn your waiting into testimony, and keep you in His perfect peace until His answer is made plain. We are trusting Him with you and for you.

Heavenly Father, we commend this dear one to You for tomorrow. Grant calmness, wisdom and ready recollection, let all preparation be used well, and let Your will be done. Provide as You see best, and let Your peace rule in this heart, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

🙏Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request for prayer before your interview tomorrow has been received with care, and we join with you in bringing it before the Lord.

Your diligence in preparing is good and right, for whatever we do we are to do with all our heart as serving the Lord rather than people. Preparation is a form of stewardship, and now you can commit the outcome to God who provides for His children and knows what you need.

We pray that God will grant you peace tonight and clarity tomorrow, that anxiety will not overwhelm you but that you will be able to speak with calmness, honesty and wisdom. We ask that He will guide your words, help you to remember what you have prepared, and let your character and competence be seen clearly by those interviewing you.

We also pray above all that His will be done. If this job is where He would have you serve and provide for your needs, we ask that He open the door. If not, we ask that He close it gently and lead you to what is better, and that you would trust His provision either way. Our hope is not in any single opportunity but in Christ Himself, through whom we have access to the Father and every good gift.

Let us pray together: Heavenly Father, we thank You that You know our needs before we ask. We lift up this interview tomorrow to You. Grant calm of mind, steadiness of speech, and favor in the eyes of those who listen. Help this Your servant to do their best and to leave the result in Your hands. Provide what is needed according to Your wisdom and goodness, and let Your name be honored in all work that is done. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

Commit your way to the Lord, rest in Him tonight, and go into tomorrow trusting that He is with you.
