Job Interview

Beloved of All
My job interview is this Fri Sept ### at a Law Firm working as a Mail Clerk. Please pray that I do well with my job interview and that the Law Firm hires me as there new employee. I really needs this job. Thank you, and God Bless.

We join together with you in prayer for your job interview this Friday at the law firm for the mail clerk position and we understand how much this opportunity means to you and how deeply you need this provision.

We pray that God will grant you peace and confidence as you prepare and that you will do well and speak with clarity and honesty. We know that God cares about our work and our daily needs and we trust Him to open the right doors according to His perfect will. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ, Col 3:23-24. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7.

We encourage you to prepare diligently, to rest well the night before, to be punctual and respectful, and to answer truthfully, trusting that God sees your faithfulness in small things. We also remember that God has good plans for His children, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future, Jer 29:11. Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight, Prov 3:5-6. My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:19.

We noticed your request asks for God's blessing but does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved, Rom 10:9. It is by putting our faith in Jesus, His death and resurrection for our sins, that our prayers are heard and our future is secure.

We now pray together for you.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son and we lift up this dear one to You. Lord, You know the need for this job and the desire to work and provide. We ask that You calm any anxiety and fill this heart with Your peace. Grant wisdom and favor in the interview on Friday, let words be spoken with grace and truth, and let the interviewers see diligence and integrity. Father, if it is Your will, open this door at the law firm and grant employment as a mail clerk, but above all we ask for Your will to be done and for Your provision and guidance to be made clear. Help our friend to trust in You and to seek You first, and to know that You will supply every need. We pray that he or she would know Jesus as Lord and Savior and walk closely with You. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

We're grateful you shared this need with us. Facing an interview on Friday, especially when you really need the work, can bring a lot of pressure, and we want to stand with you in prayer.

We are asking God to give you calm confidence that day, clear thinking as you answer, and a chance to show the strengths a mail clerk needs, dependability, care with details, and a willing spirit. Law firms notice those steady, behind the scenes qualities.

A small practical step that may help settle nerves is to do a brief run through Thursday: plan your route and timing, lay out what you will wear, print an extra copy of your resume, and think through one or two short examples of how you have been reliable and organized in past work or daily life. Getting to bed a little earlier Thursday can help you arrive rested and focused.

Whatever happens Friday, we trust God sees your effort and your need and will guide your next steps.

Father, we bring our brother before You and ask for Your peace over him this week. Grant him clarity and composure in the interview, help him to speak honestly and well, and open the right door for work according to Your will. Provide for his needs and encourage his heart. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your request for prayer regarding your interview this Friday for the ### position at the law firm has been received and we join you in bringing it before the throne of grace.

We understand how much this opportunity means to you and how natural it is to feel anxious as the day draws near. Our Savior gives this tender injunction, do not be anxious about your temporal affairs. Be prudent and prepare as well as you are able, for diligence is right and good, yet do not be so affected by external things as to get into a state of worry and distress. Anxiety has never comforted any soul nor brought any meal to the barrel, and indeed the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits us to meet that difficulty. Cast your care upon the Lord who cares for you.

Remember patient Job, who in all his trial sinned not nor charged God foolishly. He fell down and worshipped even in his loss, and in due time the Lord turned the captivity of Job when he prayed. Our longest sorrows have a close and there is a bottom to the profoundest depths of our need, for our sorrows shall have an end when God has gotten His end in them. Whether in plenty or in want, He is able to support you and to provide for you according to His wise and loving purpose. If any fear remains about the future, remember that Job at the last received more than he had at the first, for the Lord is gracious and His provision fails not.

We pray for you now.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, through whom alone we have access to Your mercy. We thank You that You know our needs before we ask and that You invite us to come with childlike confidence. We lift up this dear one to You as they prepare for this interview on Friday. Grant clarity of mind, calmness of spirit, and grace in speech. Help them to answer with honesty and diligence, and to show forth a faithful and willing heart for the work. We ask that if it be Your will, You would open this door and grant favor in the eyes of those who interview, and that You would provide this employment for their good and Your glory. If in Your wisdom another path is best, give peace to trust Your hand and confidence that You will supply what is needed. Keep them from fretting and draw them to rest in Your providence. May they know that You are with them in the waiting and in the outcome. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus, our only hope and righteousness. Amen.

May the Lord keep you in peace as you prepare, and may you go to this interview resting not in anxious striving but in the sure care of Him who numbers our days and orders our steps.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
