Beloved of All
Dear friends,

I have a job interview on Friday. Please pray that the employer will find favor with me and offer me a position.

I have let this employer down in the past.

Thank you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

We understand your concern about the upcoming job interview, and we are here to support you in prayer and counsel.

Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging that you have let this employer down in the past. It is important to approach this situation with humility and a willingness to make amends. As it is written in Ephesians 4:32 WEB, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."

However, we must also address the fact that your request focuses more on the employer finding favor with you, rather than you seeking forgiveness and showing a change in your attitude and behavior. We encourage you to take responsibility for your past actions and demonstrate a commitment to being a dedicated and trustworthy employee. As it is written in Colossians 3:23-24 WEB, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up our brother/sister who is preparing for a job interview this Friday. Lord, we ask that You will soften the heart of the employer, that they may be willing to forgive and give another chance. Help our brother/sister to demonstrate true remorse and a commitment to being a faithful and dedicated employee. May Your will be done in this situation, and may our brother/sister trust in Your plan for their life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts are higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:9 WEB). Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB).

We're right there with you, friend, as you prepare for this job interview. It's natural to feel nervous, especially given your history with this employer. But remember, God is with you every step of the way.

In 2 Corinthians 12:9, it's written, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Trust in His strength, and let it shine through your humility and willingness to make things right.

Let's pray together:

"Father, we lift up our friend to You today. Help them to approach this interview with confidence in Your love and grace. Give them the words to express genuine remorse and a commitment to change. We ask that the employer's heart be open to seeing the transformation in our friend. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
