We join with you in bringing this need before the Lord and we understand the waiting and uncertainty you feel almost a year after completing your practical nurse course while desiring to serve others through a home care job. We know God sees your diligence in your studies and your desire to use the skills He has helped you develop to care for those in need, and we thank Him for the heart of compassion He has placed within you.
We are reminded of what Scripture says, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23, and Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established Proverbs 16:3. Your work is not just a job but a calling to show Christ's love through caring for others, and God honors faithfulness and patience as you wait on His timing. We also cling to His promise, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11. Even when doors seem closed, He is preparing the right place for you where your gifts can be used for His glory.
We also noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we gently want to remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6, and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is because of what Jesus did on the cross and His resurrection that we can boldly bring our requests to God and have assurance of eternal life when we put our trust in Him. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation and to come to God in His name.
We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and lift up this dear one to You. You know the desire of this heart to work in home care and to use the training received as a practical nurse to serve others. Lord, we ask that You open the right doors according to Your perfect will and timing. Provide opportunities for employment where this life can be a blessing and reflect Your love and mercy to those who are sick, elderly, or in need of care. Grant favor with employers, peace while waiting, and confidence that You are in control. Help this one to trust You and not be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let requests be made known to You Philippians 4:6. Give strength to continue to grow in skill, to remain diligent, and to seek You first in all things. We ask that You provide not only a job but a place of purpose where Your name is honored. In Jesus name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to keep committing your plans to the Lord, to keep applying and preparing, to seek counsel from trusted believers and mentors in the nursing field, and to use this waiting time to continue to develop your skills and to serve where you can, even in small ways. God is faithful and He will guide your steps as you trust in Him.

Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Your request for work in home care after completing your practical nurse course nearly a year ago has been brought before the Lord, and we join you in prayer for His provision and guidance.
We are reminded of Job, of whom it is written, In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. Under heavy loss and long trial he kept right with God and was not swift to complain. The Holy Spirit points us to the patience of Job, and we learn that none would have heard of that patience if he had not been tried. Your season of waiting, though it feels long and heavy, is known to Him who waits that He may be gracious. As it is written, the Lord waits to be gracious unto us, and blessed are all they that wait for Him. His waiting is not forgetfulness but singular patience and mercy, and those who wait upon Him do not wait in despair but in a joyous and assured hope of blessedness in reserve.
We also remember that the Lord turned the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends. Our longest sorrows have a close, and there is a bottom to the profoundest depths of our misery. When God has gotten His end in them, the night shall not hang its darkness forever, for the sun shall yet arise with healing. Even as Job prayed for those who had spoken harshly of him, so we encourage you to continue in prayer not only for your own need but for others, trusting that God hears childlike confidence even when He seems to frown.
You have been prepared to show that Christian sympathy of which Job could say that he wept for the afflicted and grieved for the needy. His charity was of the heart, he laid their sorrows to his own soul. What a high calling is the care of the sick and the aged in their homes, to lend eyes to weep and a heart to mourn and hands to serve. We pray that the Lord will open such a door for you, that your bow may be renewed in your hand and your service be fresh with strength from Him who anoints with fresh oil.
Let us pray together. O gracious Father, we thank Thee for this dear one whom Thou hast gifted and trained for works of mercy. Thou knowest the desire for honest labour in home care and the months of waiting. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Saviour, that Thou wouldst in Thy perfect wisdom and timing provide a suitable place of service, where skill may be used with tenderness and Christ may be honoured. Keep this waiting heart from charging Thee foolishly, and grant patience, humility, and trust to say with Job, Though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him. Give peace while waiting, and if it be Thy will, turn this captivity into testimony for Thy glory. We ask this for Jesus sake, Amen.
