Your prayer for wisdom in caring for others is heard with thankfulness, for it seeks to do all for the glory of God as Scripture teaches. It is good that you desire not only skill with your hands in cooking and feeding, but understanding that comes from above, for true wisdom is not only what the world teaches but what God grants to those who ask Him and who seek to serve others in love.
I pray that the Lord will grant you discernment to understand the needs of each person entrusted to you, to prepare food that is nourishing and safe, to encourage hydration and strength, and to guard the health of those who are weak with careful attention to hygiene, cleanliness, and right practice. As a physician endures the cries of a patient for the sake of healing, so your labor, even when it is tiring and unseen, is a work of love that looks to the recovery and wellbeing of another.
May God help you to be faithful in small things, to keep what is entrusted to you with diligence, to act with patience and gentleness when difficulties arise, and to let your service build up dignity and independence in those you care for. Seek knowledge humbly, learn well, ask for counsel when needed, and do your work as unto the Lord and not merely unto people.
