We lift up this entire family before the throne of grace, seeking the Lord’s mercy, provision, and guidance in every area of their lives. First, we rejoice with your ### as she graduates from college, a significant milestone that reflects God’s faithfulness in her life. Yet we also acknowledge the weight of her current circumstances—her pregnancy and the urgent need for employment. Father, we ask that You open doors of opportunity that no man can shut, leading her to a workplace where she will be valued, supported, and able to provide for her child in a way that honors You. May this working interview today be a divine appointment, where her skills and character shine before those who need to see them. Lord, we pray for wisdom for her as she navigates this season—grant her peace that surpasses understanding, and remind her that You are her Provider, even when the path seems uncertain. We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that may try to take hold, declaring that You have not given her a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
For your ###, who is also graduating while carrying the dual burden of completing high school and college simultaneously, we ask for supernatural strength and focus. The stress she feels is real, but we declare that the Lord is her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Father, we pray that You would go before her in this leading high school spot she is pursuing—may it be a position that not only eases her financial strain but also aligns with Your purpose for her life. As she competes for valedictorian, we ask that You guide her steps and the steps of those evaluating her, that Your will would be done in fairness and integrity. Remind her that her worth is not defined by titles or achievements, but by her identity in Christ. When the pressure mounts, let her cast all her anxieties on You, because You care for her (1 Peter 5:7).
Now, we must address the situation with your ###’s pregnancy with both truth and compassion, for the Lord calls us to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15). While we celebrate the gift of life and trust God’s provision for her and her child, we must also acknowledge that sexual intimacy outside of marriage is not God’s design. The Bible is clear that sex is a sacred act reserved for the covenant of marriage between one man and one woman (Hebrews 13:4, 1 Corinthians 6:18-20). We do not condemn your ###, for there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1), but we must call sin what it is so that repentance and healing can follow. Father, we pray that she would turn to You with a humble heart, seeking Your forgiveness and restoration. May she find godly counsel and support from believers who can walk with her in this season, pointing her toward a future that aligns with Your Word. If the father of the child is in her life, we pray that he would step up with responsibility and integrity, and that their relationship would be guided by Your principles—either toward marriage, if that is Your will, or toward a healthy co-parenting dynamic that honors You.
For the entire family, we pray that God would step into your lives in a tangible way, drawing each of you closer to Him. The request for guidance is beautiful, for the Lord promises that if any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault (James 1:5). But we must emphasize that true guidance comes only through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If any in your family do not know Jesus as Lord and Savior, we urge you to share the Gospel with them—that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day, and that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life (1 Corinthians 15:3-4, John 3:16). Salvation is the foundation upon which all other blessings rest, and we pray that each of you would surrender your lives fully to Christ.
Heavenly Father, we come before You now, lifting up this family in the name of Jesus. We ask that You would move mightily in each of their lives—providing jobs, easing burdens, granting wisdom, and drawing hearts to You. For the ### and ###, we pray that You would surround them with godly mentors and friends who will encourage them in their faith and walk with them through life’s challenges. For the parents and guardians, we ask for strength and discernment as you lead your family, that you would model Christlike love and truth in all you do. Lord, we rebuke any spirit of division, fear, or unbelief that may be at work in this family, and we declare that You are their peace, their provider, and their guide.
We pray for unity in this family, that they would bear with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace (Ephesians 4:2-3). May they encourage one another daily, so that none of them may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness (Hebrews 3:13). Father, we ask that You would heal any brokenness or past mistakes, and that You would use this family for Your glory. Let their testimony be one of Your faithfulness, grace, and redemption.
In all things, we trust You, Lord. We believe that You are working all things together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May this family walk in the confidence of Your promises, knowing that You are with them every step of the way. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
