Beloved of All
🙇🏻 Jesus, Shepherd Your Sheep🐑 Micah 5:4, John 10:16, Jn 21:16, 1 Pet 5:2-4, Rev 7:17; ⛓️💥 Remember those in Chains, Hebrews 13:3, Col 4:18... Lord Jesus, thank You that You are The LORD our Shepherd, Ps 23:1-6. You are The Good Shepherd that lay down Your life for us, Your sheep, John 10:11. Thank You that not only do Your Sheep hear Your voice, Jn 10:27, but that You lead them out, and we don't listen to others, John 10:3-4, but only head Your voice and follow You, John 10:27, but that You care for us, Ps 23:3 Isa 40:11, Ezek 34:15, Rev 7:17. Take care of us, defend us, comfort and feed us on wisdom and knowledge, Give Your angels charge over us and our fellow believers in spiritual battles, Ps 91:9-16, Heb 1:14. Strengthen our brothers and sisters, even shepherd the entire flock of God among us, 1 Pet 5:2, help us be on guard for ourselves and the flock of God among us from evil and warped wolves, Acts 20:28-29, by abiding in You and Your teaching, John 15:1-9, studying, obeying and teaching obedience to all Jesus commanded, Matt 28:20. Strengthen us and all in the faith with power and might through the Holy Spirit to know the dimensions of Your love, Eph 3:14-18. Be near those who are in need of deliverance, setting us free by just saying the Word, Matt 8:8, and draw us and all around us to Jesus. Especially draw those weary and heavy laden, that You might give them rest, Your yoke is easy and burden is light, so they find rest for their souls, Matt 11:28-30. Work everything out for the furtherance of the gospel, Phil 1:12.

🧎🏻Grant relief to the persecuted church like You did when the evil king began by laying hands on some who belonged to the church in order to mistreat them, had the Apostle James the brother of John the Beloved put to death with the sword, Acts 12:1-2, and give us testimonies like we have of the Apostle Peter's angelic release from prison in Acts 12:3-17 and the Apostles Paul and Silas' earthquake resulting in the conversion of the Philippian Jailer and his household in Acts 16:27-32. Hebrews 10:34. Help us sympathize with those in prison and joyfully accept the confiscation property, knowing that we ourselves have a better and permanent possession, Hebrews 10:34. Call and grant boldness give them visits, as Jesus said in Matthew 25:36, "I was naked and you clothed Me, I was sick and you looked after Me, I was in prison and you visited Me." Be their Shepherd even in those situations, Rom 8:38-39.

🙇🏻 Give grace to us all to purposely draw near to You, so You draw near to us, James 4:8. You are the vine, we are the branches; the one who remains in You, and You in them bears much fruit 🍇 for apart from You we can do nothing, Jn 15:5. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us, Phil 4:13. Help us keep You holy in our hearts so as to be ready in season and out of season (at any time in any circumstance) to give an answer for the hope within us, with respect, 2 Tim 2:25, so ungodliness glorifies God that it had a good witness before You returned, 1 Pet 3:15-16. Deliver us from evil people and the evil one, temptation and sin. 2 Thes 3:2-3, Matt 6:13, Luke 11:4, John 17:15. Let love abound more in knowledge and discernment so we can choose the best in every situation that gives us a choice, so we may be sincere and blameless until Your Son's return, being filled with the fruit of righteousness, which comes from union with Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God, Phil 1:9-11. Let us freely receive Your abundant love and freely give it to others, healing the sick, raising the dead, and casting out demons, Matt 10:8. Not unto us, but to Your Name give glory, do whatever You please, but as the Earth You have given to the sons of men, help us rule in part with You even now, Ps 115:1-18. Perfect our love, for as You are, so also are we in this world, 1 John 4:17. Thank You in Jesus' Name.

We join with you in this beautiful and faithful prayer and we say amen to your cry for Jesus to shepherd His sheep and to remember those in chains.

We love how you have centered this entirely on Christ our Shepherd, for He is worthy. As you prayed, Yahweh is our shepherd, we shall not want, Psalm 23:1, and He is the good shepherd who lays down his life for the sheep, John 10:11. We rejoice that His sheep hear His voice and He knows them and they follow Him, John 10:27, and that He stands and shepherds in the strength of Yahweh, Micah 5:4. We agree with you that He will guide us to springs of waters of life, Rev 7:17, and that He carries His lambs in His bosom and gently leads those who have their young, Isa 40:11.

We also stand with you in remembering the persecuted church, just as scripture commands us to remember those who are in bonds, as bound with them, Heb 13:3, and to remember our bonds, Col 4:18. We lift up our brothers and sisters who are suffering for the name of Jesus right now in prisons, in hard labor, in hiding, and in places of great danger. We ask the Lord to be their Shepherd even there, for we are persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from God’s love which is in Christ Jesus our Lord, Rom 8:38-39.

We pray together with you:

Lord Jesus, we thank You that You are our Shepherd and we are the sheep of Your pasture. Thank You for laying down Your life for us and for leading us out by Your voice so that we follow only You, John 10:3-4. We ask You to take care of us, defend us, comfort us and feed us with wisdom and knowledge. Give Your angels charge over us, for Your Word says he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways, Psalm 91:11, and that angels are ministering spirits sent out to do service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation, Heb 1:14. Shepherd Your whole flock among us, 1 Pet 5:2, and help us to watch over ourselves and Your flock from savage wolves who will not spare the flock, Acts 20:28-29. Help us to remain in You, the vine, for apart from You we can do nothing, John 15:5, and to be strengthened with power through Your Spirit that Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith, Eph 3:16-17. Draw near to us as we draw near to You, James 4:8.

We lift up those in chains today. Grant them relief as You did for Peter when prayer was made earnestly by the church and You sent an angel to lead him out of prison, Acts 12:5-11, and as You did for Paul and Silas when You shook the prison doors and brought salvation to the jailer and his household, Acts 16:25-34. Comfort those who have joyfully accepted the plundering of their possessions, knowing that they have for themselves a better and an enduring possession in the heavens, Heb 10:34. Stir our hearts to visit them, to clothe and care for them, remembering Your words, I was in prison and you came to me, Matt 25:36. Work all of this for the furtherance of the Good News, Phil 1:12, and let everything turn to the glory of Your name, not to us, Yahweh, not to us, but to your name give glory, Psalm 115:1.

Father, cause Your love to abound in us in knowledge and discernment, that we may approve the things that are excellent, Phil 1:9-10, keep us from the evil one, John 17:15, and deliver us from evil, Matt 6:13, and make us ready always to give an answer to everyone who asks us a reason concerning the hope that is in us, with humility and fear, 1 Pet 3:15. We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us, Phil 4:13, so let us freely give as we have freely received, Matt 10:8, bearing much fruit to Your praise.

We thank You that You hear us when we pray in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12, and that through Him we have access to Your throne of grace. We trust Your shepherding hand over us and over our persecuted family until You return. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We were so encouraged to read your prayer. The way you carry both your own church family and brothers and sisters you have never met who are in prison or under pressure shows a shepherd's heart that reflects Jesus Himself.

It is easy to wonder whether long, faithful prayers like this make a difference when we do not see the outcome. We believe God hears each one and delights to work through the prayers of His people, both when we pray alone and when we know others are praying with us and for us. Your intercession is not small work.

If it would help, you might invite one other believer this week to pray with you for a few minutes for the persecuted church and for your own flock to stay rooted and watchful. Praying together often steadies us and reminds us we are not carrying these burdens alone.

Father, thank You for being our Shepherd who knows each sheep by name. We ask You to guard and feed Your flock, strengthen those who are weary, and draw near to those in chains today with Your presence and provision. Keep us abiding in Christ and attentive to Your voice, and use our prayers for the furtherance of the gospel. In Jesus' name, amen.

We join you in this prayer and count it a privilege to bring these petitions before the throne of grace together.

How precious is that word which you have taken up, The Lord is my Shepherd. It is easy to say that the Lord has been our Shepherd in the past, but faith says He is our Shepherd in the present and will be our Shepherd in the future. He is not a half shepherd, but a Shepherd in the fullest possible sense. As you have prayed, He is the Good Shepherd who laid down His life for the sheep, John 10:11, He is the Great Shepherd who lives to care for them, and He shall be revealed as the Chief Shepherd who will reward His own. All the possibilities that lie in a shepherd are found in Christ, and He owns His flock, He knows His own and His own know Him, and He takes constant care to keep and safely protect them.

We pray with you that this Shepherd would feed His people, for His Word by the Gospel is still preached unto us, and therefore we shall still be fed. May He give wisdom and knowledge, lead His sheep out and cause them to hear His voice alone, that they follow Him and not strangers, John 10:3-4, 27. The first duty of a sheep is confidence in the shepherd, and the next is to love Him, and we ask the Lord to work both in us, that we abide in the Vine, John 15:5, and bear much fruit, being strengthened with might through His Spirit to know the dimensions of His love, Ephesians 3:14-18, and to be filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through union with Jesus Christ.

We remember with you those in chains, as bound with them, Hebrews 13:3. The history of God's people Israel is in type a history of His Church, and it has ever been so that the seed born after the flesh has persecuted that born after the Spirit. Yet God has never forsaken them that fear Him, and He never will. The Church has often been preserved by persecution, she was never purer, never holier, never nearer to her Savior than when she was persecuted, and God always knows how to save His people. What He has done in the past He can do again, as He did when He sent His angel to release Peter from prison, Acts 12, and when He shook the prison at Philippi and brought salvation to the jailer and his household, Acts 16.

So we pray for our brothers and sisters who suffer confiscation of goods, imprisonment, and mistreatment for the Name of Christ. By the blood of the covenant He has sent forth prisoners out of the pit wherein is no water, and we ask Him to turn every prisoner of hope to the stronghold, Zechariah 9:11-12. Be near to them as their Shepherd even there, for neither tribulation nor distress nor persecution can separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus, Romans 8:38-39. Grant them boldness, give them visits and comfort as those who visit Christ Himself when they visit His members, Matthew 25:36, and work all things for the furtherance of the gospel, Philippians 1:12.

We pray also with you for guarding the flock. May the Lord help shepherds and all the saints to be on guard for themselves and the flock of God from evil and warped wolves, Acts 20:28-29, by abiding in Christ and His teaching, John 15:1-9, studying and obeying and teaching obedience to all that Jesus commanded, Matthew 28:20. Give charge to His angels over His people in spiritual battle, Psalm 91:9-16, and deliver us from evil people and the evil one, 2 Thessalonians 3:2-3, Matthew 6:13. Let love abound in knowledge and discernment, that we may choose what is best and be sincere and blameless until the day of Christ, Philippians 1:9-11.

May we purposely draw near to God, that He will draw near to us, James 4:8, keeping Christ holy in our hearts, ready at any time to give an answer for the hope within us with gentleness and respect, 1 Peter 3:15. And may the Lord draw the weary and heavy laden to Himself, that they may take His easy yoke and find rest for their souls, Matthew 11:28-30, for salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and He alone can say the word and set the captive free, Matthew 8:8.

We ask not for our glory, but that unto His Name be glory, and that His will be done as He pleases, while we seek to walk faithfully before Him in the station He has given us. May He perfect our love, and cause us to freely receive His abundant love and freely give it, to the praise of His grace.

We commend you and all the flock to the Good Shepherd who cares for His sheep, to the Great Shepherd who preserves them, and to the Chief Shepherd who shall soon appear. May His keeping be your constant portion until He brings you forth with joy. In the Name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer lifts up what is most central to our hope, that Jesus is the Lord our Shepherd who laid down His life for His sheep. I join you in thanking Him for this love that does not wait for our worthiness but comes first from compassion. As you recalled, He saw the crowds troubled and scattered as sheep having no shepherd, and He came to gather, to feed, and to lead them out so that they hear His voice and follow Him alone.

We ask Him to continue to shepherd His flock among us. Scripture warns that a hireling looks to his own safety and cares nothing for the sheep, while the good Shepherd seeks the safety of the sheep even at the cost of His own life. There are still wolves that would scatter and distort the truth, and shepherds who feed themselves rather than the flock. So we pray that the Lord would raise up faithful overseers who watch over themselves and over the flock, who turn back what is straying, bind up what is broken, heal what is sick, and feed the people with wisdom and knowledge from His word. We pray that all of us would abide in Christ the vine, remain in His teaching, study and obey all that He commanded, and so bear much fruit for His glory.

We also remember with you those in chains, as Hebrews calls us to do as though we were bound with them. The testing of mockings, scourgings, bonds and imprisonment is not distant from the life of faith, and it brings comfort to know that the Lord has not abandoned His people in such trials. We ask for relief for the persecuted church, for deliverance according to His will as He once opened the prison for Peter and shook the doors for Paul and Silas so that even a jailer and his household came to faith. We pray that those who suffer loss of property or freedom would know they have a better and lasting possession, that they would be visited and strengthened, and that nothing would separate them from the love of God in Christ. Give them boldness to confess Christ, and give us compassion to stand with them in prayer and in practical care.

We draw near to Him as you prayed, trusting His promise that if we draw near to God He will draw near to us. Apart from Him we can do nothing, but through Christ who strengthens us we can live faithfully. We ask that He would deliver us from evil and from evil people, keep us from temptation, make our love abound with knowledge and discernment, and make us ready at any time to give an answer for the hope within us with gentleness and respect. May we be filled with the fruit of righteousness through union with Jesus, freely receiving His abundant love and freely giving it to others, healing, helping, and proclaiming the gospel so that the earth sees His goodness and His name alone receives glory. May all things work for the advance of the gospel and for rest for the weary who come to His easy yoke. We ask this in the name of Jesus our Shepherd.
