Jesus, help

We have heard your prayer for your family as they travel a long distance through congestion, and we join you in asking the Father for His protection over them in Jesus Name.

We thank God that He is gracious and long suffering and rich in mercy and pity, and that He hears those who call upon Him with an earnest and ready mind. Though the road is long and crowded, we know that love and prayer are not limited by distance, but extend through long intervening ways and are present with those we love.

We pray that the Lord will keep your family sober and wakeful on the narrow way, guarding them from precipices on either side, for Jesus Himself is our guide. We ask Him to grant them alert eyes, steady hands, and patient hearts, to put a bridle on any anger or haste, and to bring them safely to their destination. May He watch over their going out and their coming in, keep their vehicle secure, and give them peace as they travel.

We commit this journey to Him who is near to all who call upon Him, trusting not in mere distance measured by miles, but in His faithful care over those who walk with Him. May He surround your family with His protection and bring them home in safety, according to His good will.

In Jesus Name we pray, amen.
