Jesus Christ thank you

Humble Servant
I just saw army helicopters and large Drones flying over my home I ###, ### and I am so proud that the United States of America has a great Military. My Dad was born in the ###s and he enlisted as a teenager to go fight the Japanese after they Bombed Pearl Harbor. Then in the 50s, well after Japan Surrendered, my dad was stationed in Japan with my mom and my two older brothers and one older sister who grew up in Japan and then they moved to ### and then I finally came along many years later and grew up in ###. After that, my siblings were older and left the home and my parents got divorced and they asked me who I want to live with at the age of ### years old. I said I want to live with my mom and my dad retired from the USAF and went to ###, ### and my mom remarried to be able to support me. It's been a pretty interesting life and I am so grateful for my parents and my siblings who all tried to do the best that they could do. Now I'm ### years old and my wife and I have been together for over ### years and we have two adult kids and again I am so thankful for my life and my experiences. I only ask that you help me to be a better husband and a better person and a better dad and a better employee so that I can continue to support my family that you have given me. Amen 🙏

We rejoice with you in gratitude for the blessings God has poured into your life, the faithful service of your father in defending our nation, the provision of your family, and the years of marriage you’ve shared with your wife. The military’s strength is indeed a testament to the courage of those who serve, and we honor the legacy of your father and all who have sacrificed for freedom. Your thankfulness for your family’s journey is a beautiful reflection of God’s faithfulness through every season.

Yet we must also pause to examine the foundation of our gratitude. You mention Jesus Christ in your prayer, and we are grateful for that, for there is no other name by which we may approach the Father (Acts 4:12). But let us remember that our ultimate allegiance is not to any nation or institution, but to the Kingdom of God. The apostle Paul reminds us, "For our citizenship is in heaven, from where we also wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ" (Philippians 3:20). While we honor and pray for our earthly nation, we must never confuse its glory with the glory of God. The helicopters and drones you saw are but temporary tools of man’s power, but the power of Christ is eternal.

We also lift up your marriage and family with great care. You ask to be a better husband, father, and employee, this is a godly desire. Scripture commands, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it" (Ephesians 5:25). Your role as a husband is to sacrificially love your wife, just as Christ loved the church. If there have been moments of neglect, frustration, or unkindness, we repent on your behalf and ask the Lord to soften your heart toward her. Marriage is a covenant before God, not merely a contract, and it requires daily surrender to His will.

We must also gently address the mention of your parents’ divorce. While we do not judge their circumstances, we know that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16) and intends marriage to be a lifelong union. Your parents’ separation, though it shaped your childhood, was not part of God’s perfect design. Yet we see His grace even in brokenness, as He has sustained you and your family through the years. If there are lingering wounds from that season, we pray for healing and restoration in your heart.

Now, let us come before the Lord together in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for this brother’s life and the many ways You have blessed him. We praise You for his father’s service, for the gift of his wife and children, and for Your provision over the years. Lord, we ask that You would strengthen him to be the husband You have called him to be, one who loves his wife as Christ loves the church, who leads with humility, and who cherishes her as a precious gift from You. Father, refine him as a father, that he may guide his children with wisdom, patience, and godly example. As an employee, grant him integrity, diligence, and favor in his work, that he may provide for his family and honor You in all he does.

Lord, we also ask for healing in any areas where past hurts from his parents’ divorce may still linger. Bring peace to his heart and help him to forgive where forgiveness is needed. Guard his marriage from the schemes of the enemy, and let Your love be the foundation of their home. May he always remember that his true citizenship is in heaven, and may his life reflect the glory of Christ in every role he fills.

We rebuke any spirit of pride, complacency, or distraction that would keep him from fully surrendering to You. May he walk in humility, always seeking Your will above all else. We declare that his family is covered by the blood of Jesus, and we pray for unity, joy, and godly purpose in their home.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We’re walking through this season with you, and we’re so encouraged by the way God has woven His faithfulness into your story. There’s so much to be grateful for, the way your dad’s service, no matter the circumstances, points to a heart that sought to honor something greater than himself. We see how God used that sacrifice to shape your family’s journey, even through the hard parts like the divorce and the transitions. It’s clear how His hand was at work in the lives of your parents and siblings, even when things didn’t go as they hoped.

We’re praying for you as you step into this season of being a husband, father, and provider. There’s something so powerful about a man who wants to grow, not just in skill, but in heart. We’re asking the Lord to give you eyes to see your wife the way He does: as someone He loves deeply and wants you to cherish. That’s not just a job description; it’s a calling. And to your children, we’re praying for you to be a dad who leads with love, not just authority, and who builds them up in ways that point them to Jesus.

There’s also something we’re lifting up about your perspective on the military and the nation. It’s good to be proud of what’s good in our country, but we’re praying you’d always see beyond the flags and the machines, the helicopters and drones, to the King of kings. That pride should never overshadow the truth that your ultimate allegiance is to Christ, and that your strength comes from Him, not from any earthly power. Let us help you remember that the legacy your dad left isn’t just in service to a nation, but in the way he served a Savior.

And we’re not ignoring the past. We’re praying for any wounds from your parents’ divorce to be healed, not just in memory, but in your heart. Forgiveness isn’t just for them, it’s for you, too. Let God’s peace guard your heart and mind as you walk forward, free from the weight of what was, and full of the hope of what He’s doing now.

In Jesus’ name, we’re declaring that His love is rewriting your story, one step, one choice, one act of surrender at a time. Keep going. He’s right there with you.

Thank you for your prayers. Please help me have a good night's sleep and rest and to be able to go to work tomorrow and to get my projects and proposals done correctly and on time. Amen

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
