Jesus Christ thank you for helping me

Servant of All
Dear God please help to be a better person and a better man and a better husband and a better dad to our adult kid's and please help be a better employee and please help me get my projects and proposals done correctly and on time. Please let me win the lottery and to so much money that I can take care of my family and to be able to enjoy the time with my grandkids.

We hear your heartfelt cry to the Lord, and we join you in seeking His will for your life. It is beautiful that you begin with gratitude to Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written, "For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). We are so grateful that you acknowledge Him, for "there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12).

Father, we come before You with this brother in Christ, lifting up his desire to grow in godliness. We pray that You would strengthen him to be a man after Your own heart, a husband who loves his wife as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25), a father who leads with wisdom and grace (Ephesians 6:4), and an employee who works as unto You, not men (Colossians 3:23). Lord, refine his character, deepen his faith, and help him to walk in integrity in every area of his life. May his actions reflect Your love and truth, and may his family see Christ in him.

We also lift up his work and projects, asking that You grant him clarity, discipline, and favor. Help him to manage his time wisely, as the Scriptures say, "Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming the time" (Colossians 4:5). Give him the strength to complete his tasks with excellence, trusting that You will provide for all his needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).

Now, regarding the request for wealth through the lottery, we must gently rebuke this desire with biblical truth. The Lord warns us, "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows" (1 Timothy 6:10). Instead of seeking sudden riches, we encourage you to trust in God’s provision and to seek first His kingdom and righteousness (Matthew 6:33). True contentment is found in Christ, not in earthly wealth. If God blesses you with financial increase, may it be through honest labor and His perfect will, not through games of chance.

We pray that You would fill this brother with peace and joy as he serves You faithfully. May his grandchildren see a legacy of faith in him, and may his home be a place of love, laughter, and godly influence. Help him to number his days, that he may gain a heart of wisdom (Psalm 90:12), and to invest his time in what truly matters, eternal things.

Lord, we ask that You would draw near to him, comfort him in his struggles, and remind him that his identity is found in You, not in his performance or possessions. May he find rest in Your grace and strength in Your Spirit.

In Jesus’ mighty name we pray, Amen.

We hear the deep longing in your words, the desire to be a better man, a better husband, a better dad, and a faithful employee who gets things done well. Those aren’t just job descriptions; they’re how you love the people God has placed around you. So when you ask for help in those areas, we believe God smiles on that heartfelt prayer. Growth often happens in small, steady steps. Maybe this week, one simple step could be asking your wife or one of your adult kids what they most need from you right now, just listening can spark real change.

We also notice your hope of winning the lottery to care for your family and soak up time with grandkids. That thread of wanting to provide and to be present is beautiful. But we’ve seen folks get tangled up chasing a big financial fix, and it often steals attention away from the very moments they want to protect. What if the way to enjoy those grandkids isn’t a future pile of money but the steady faithfulness of showing up now, phone calls, a Saturday morning pancake breakfast, just being there? God knows your family’s needs, and He is able to supply. We’ll ask Him to guide your work projects, grant you focus and creativity, and open doors for provision that don’t depend on chance.

Let’s pause together.

Lord Jesus, thank You for a man whose heart leans toward his family and his work. Strengthen him to be the husband and father he longs to be, patient, kind, present. Give him clarity and diligence in his projects, and let his labor bear fruit. Provide for his family’s needs in ways that draw hearts closer to You. And teach him to treasure the grandkids right where he is, finding joy not in a future dream but in the gifts already around him. In Your name we pray, amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

Your prayer of thanks to the Lord Jesus betokens a heart that has tasted His goodness, and that desire to be a better man, husband, father, and worker is itself a bud of His grace, for the natural man is content with his own barrenness. Yet let this aspiration be rooted in that childlike fear of which Solomon speaks, the reverence a well-ordered son has for a father whose character he admires and whose displeasure he would not provoke. Such a holy awe makes a man careful in his conduct, tender in his home, and diligent at his post, not out of servile dread, but because he would not grieve the Father who has blessed him with all spiritual blessings in Christ. It is this filial fear that silently slips off its shoes in the quiet chambers of daily life, lest a single thought or deed disturb the sacred peace of a conscience alive unto God.

But there is a portion of your request that betrays the childishness which still clings to us. To ask, “Please let me win the lottery,” is a dart shot in the dark, not the petition of a son who knows his Father’s will. The child of God does not lean upon the lottery, that great net of Mammon which has dragged down multitudes into perdition. Our Father is not a gamester to be coaxed by the throw of a die, but a Husband to His people, who has bound Himself to provide for His own with the tenderest care. He found Israel in a howling wilderness, planted them in a good land, and gave them bread from heaven. Will He not much more feed you, who are bought with the blood of His Son? That craving for sudden wealth is a serpent’s egg; if hatched, it will sting you with many sorrows. The promise stands surer than any lottery ticket: “I will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be My sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.” He who is the Orphan’s Father and the Husband of the widow knows your need of daily bread, and of that sweeter bread, leisure to delight in your grandchildren. Trust His fatherly timing, and count the slow provisions of honest labor better than the whirlwind of unearned gold.

As for your projects and proposals, labor with both hands, for the Spirit who works in us makes men work, not idle dreamers. Paul “labored, striving according to His working,” and so must you. Yet know that the outcome rests not on your anxiety, but on the Father’s good pleasure. While you are planning, pray without ceasing; not a prayer rattled off by the clock, but the constant lifting of the heart, saying, “Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Thy sight.” If the work prospers, lay all praise at the Redeemer’s feet; if it tarries, learn that soul-conflict and dependence are often the Father’s deeper gifts. The way of life is not to tear down the old paths where a godly parent’s faith would lead, but to walk in them, saying, “Thou art my Father, my God, and the Rock of my salvation.” Jesus Christ, the Everlasting Father of His people, lives to intercede; He will never lose a child, nor leave you comfortless. Therefore cast your care upon Him, and seek first the kingdom, for in His face is all the portion your heart truly needs.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You pray to be a better person, a better husband and father and employee; this is a good and godly petition, worthy of a Christian. But then you ask to win the lottery, to seize for yourself a flood of money outside the ordinary providence of labor, and there you stumble badly. Tell me, what holy man ever sought God this way? David, a man after God’s own heart, did not win riches by a game of chance; he kept sheep in the wilderness until the Lord lifted him up. Job, stripped of everything, stood firmer than adamant without a single miracle of sudden wealth. Yet you imagine that a lottery win will let you care for your family and enjoy your grandchildren. I tell you, the desire for ease and overflowing money often does more harm than good. Many, when miracles brought them glory or riches, were severed from one another, carried away with pride, even cast out. The care of practice, the love of virtue, these do not breed such cravings; they root them out.

You want to be a better man. That is the true treasure. Attend to your projects and proposals with diligence and integrity, as unto the Lord, not as a gambler waiting on a number. Do you think the Father of the fatherless cannot provide for your family without a lottery? Christ Himself asks, “Is not life more than food, and the body more than raiment?” Strive for a life that shines with patience, humility, and faithfulness; that miracle, a soul transformed, is worth more than all the fleeting gold you could win. Do not weary heaven with prayers for what may prove your own snare. Instead, ask for grace to be content, to work honestly, and to love your family without setting your heart on uncertain riches.
