Jesus Christ thank you

Dwsariator

Servant of All
Dear God thank you for helping me to stop being a alcoholic. Thank you for helping me take better care of my wife and my family and my coworkers and my customers and especially to be able to be a better person and a better employee and a better husband and a better dad and a better friend to your son Jesus Christ my lord and Savior. Amen

We rejoice with you in the mighty work God has done in your life, delivering you from the bondage of alcohol and transforming your heart to serve Him and those around you with greater love and responsibility. Your gratitude is a beautiful testimony of His grace, and we stand with you in praising the Lord for His faithfulness.

The Word of God tells us, "Let him who thinks he stands be careful that he doesn’t fall. No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." (1 Corinthians 10:12-13 WEB). Your victory over alcohol is not by your own strength but by the power of Christ who lives in you. We encourage you to remain vigilant, continually surrendering this area of your life to Him, and leaning on His strength daily.

Your desire to be a better husband, father, employee, and friend is commendable and reflects the heart of Christ. Scripture calls us to love one another as He has loved us (John 13:34-35 WEB). As you seek to honor God in your marriage, remember that love is patient, kind, not self-seeking, and always protects (1 Corinthians 13:4-7 WEB). Strive to lead your family with humility, gentleness, and wisdom, always pointing them to Jesus. Your role as a husband and father is sacred, and God will equip you to fulfill it as you rely on Him.

We also want to encourage you to continue growing in your relationship with the Lord. Spend time in His Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with other believers. The Bible says, "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." (Proverbs 27:17 WEB). Surround yourself with godly men who can support, encourage, and hold you accountable in your walk with Christ.

Let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for what You have done in this brother’s life. We thank You for delivering him from the grip of alcohol and for transforming his heart to serve You and his family with greater love and devotion. Lord, we ask that You continue to strengthen him in his walk with You. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit so that he may bear the fruit of self-control, love, joy, and peace in every area of his life.

Father, we pray for his marriage. May You bless his union with his wife, knitting their hearts together in love and unity. Give him wisdom to lead his family with humility and grace, and help him to love his wife as Christ loves the church. Strengthen their bond, and let their home be a place of peace, joy, and worship to You.

Lord, we also ask that You continue to use him in his workplace. May his actions and words reflect Your love and integrity, drawing others to You. Give him favor with his coworkers and customers, and let his life be a testimony of Your transforming power.

Finally, Father, we pray that You would deepen his relationship with You. Draw him closer to Your heart, and help him to grow in his knowledge and love for You. Surround him with godly men who will encourage and challenge him in his faith. May he continue to walk in the freedom and victory that You have given him, never forgetting the grace that saved him.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Keep pressing into the Lord, dear brother. Your testimony is a powerful witness to His grace, and we believe God will continue to use you mightily for His glory. Stay rooted in His Word, and never hesitate to reach out to your brothers and sisters in Christ for support and prayer. You are not alone in this journey.

We read your words of thanks and our hearts are lifted with yours. It’s beautiful to hear how God has pulled you free from alcoholism, and not just stopped there, but is now making you a better husband, dad, employee, and friend. That’s more than recovery; it’s transformation. Jesus doesn’t simply remove what was destroying us. He reshapes us from the inside out into people who can love others well. We see that happening in you.

Your gratitude itself is a gift. Research and experience bear this out: genuine thanks calms the mind, deepens joy, and reminds us we aren’t walking alone. You’ve tasted that directly, and your words will stir hope in others who are still in the dark.

One simple way to keep this season fresh is to share your story with someone who is struggling, maybe another man who needs to hear that freedom is real and that God strengthens everyday faithfulness. Your voice could be a lifeline. Also, staying closely connected to other believers who understand the journey, whether through a small group or a Christ-centered recovery fellowship, can be a steady anchor when life gets hard again.

Let’s lift up your thanks together now.

Lord Jesus, we join this dear brother in thanking You. You broke the chains of alcohol and continue to give him new life. Thank You for his wife, his children, his coworkers, for every relationship being renewed by Your grace. Protect him from the enemy’s attempts to drag him backward. Fill him with Your Spirit daily, so that his love for his family and his witness at work overflow. Let his gratitude be a beacon, and keep his eyes fixed on You, his true Savior. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The Lord hath crowned the year with His goodness, and in your deliverance from strong drink He hath given you a crowning mercy for which special thanksgiving is most comely. Every increase of strength is a new claim upon your affection, and as you grow a little stronger and a little stronger, lay it to heart that the Lord who has recovered you from this slavery will yet perfect that which concerneth you.

But I charge you, let not the joy of this mercy cause you to neglect the wellspring of all true family piety. Family prayer is the nutriment of it, the very castle of your household's spiritual health. If you have not already, make the voice of thanksgiving and supplication rise daily from your home; for a family without prayer is like a ship without ballast, soon to founder. This reform in your house will seal the blessing and spread a savor of life throughout all your relationships.

And remember, you and your wife and your little ones are part of that whole family which is in heaven and earth, one undivided household, having the family likeness, being led by the Spirit of God. As Noah and his house entered the ark, so you have found a home in Christ Jesus, and the promise is that you and your house shall be saved. Let this hope set you to living as one who is fitted to be a partaker of the inheritance of the saints in light.

Go now, and let your inward gratitude pour itself out in a holy walk. Make public thanksgiving in the assembly of the righteous, and bring forth fruits meet for repentance, that the heathen may smell no ill savor from your life. The Lord who hath done this for you is faithful; trust Him for the future, and evermore give Him the crowning thanksgiving of a devoted life.
