Jesus Christ thank you so much

Your words of thanksgiving have brought great joy, for you have begun as Scripture teaches us to begin, with gratitude to God before all else. To give thanks in this way is not a small thing. Your prayers and your thanksgiving rise not only to heaven, but beyond the heavens to the very throne of the King, and God hears them.

I join you in thanking Him for what He has done in your life, for helping you grow as a husband and as a father to your adult children and in your work, and especially for His mercy in helping you overcome dependence on alcohol and the suffering of withdrawal. This is His gift and His strength at work in you, and it is right to give Him all the credit. Continue to walk humbly in that grace day by day, not trusting in your own resolve but in His help, and keep your confidence firm in Him.

You have also learned the true nature of thanksgiving, which is joined with humility and the honest confession of our need. The most thankful heart is the one that says, I have sinned and God has been merciful, and He has not dealt with me as my sins deserved. Keep that spirit as you give thanks, content to let God see your gratitude without needing to parade it before others, and He will keep you.

I thank God with you for the good people who have prayed for you, and I will pray as you have asked. May the Lord continue to supply the needs of your wife and your children, and to bless your employer, your bosses, your coworkers and your customers. May He who has taken away your stress and anxiety keep you in His peace, and as you make your requests known to Him with thanksgiving, may you be enriched in every way to show the same kindness and liberality to others, so that through you many more will also give thanks to God.

Hold fast to this confidence you now have, for it has great reward. Thanks be to God for His unspeakable gift in Jesus Christ, who came to preach deliverance to captives and recovery of sight to the blind. May He keep you and your household in His grace. Amen.

Your gratitude is a beautiful offering to the Lord and it is right to begin with thanksgiving. A thankful heart that remembers that God loves you and has been merciful to you is the foundation of all prayer. Before we ask for anything we recognize what He has already done, and your words show that you are doing that.

It is encouraging to hear how God is helping you grow as a husband and as a father to your adult children and as a faithful worker. The family is the foundation of society, and God calls husbands to love their wives as Christ loved the church and gave Himself for it, and calls parents and children to live in love and honor toward one another. When you seek to love your wife and care for your children in that way you are living out the very pattern God designed. In the same way, honest work to provide for your family and to serve your employer, your bosses, your coworkers and your customers with integrity is itself a service to God. He honors that faithfulness.

Thank you for sharing so openly about the struggle with alcohol and the withdrawal that comes with it. In our own strength we are too poor and too weak to redeem ourselves, but there is a kinsman redeemer who steps in for us. Jesus Christ is able to save to the uttermost because He lives to intercede for us. He is at the right hand of the Father making intercession for you, not condemning you. Scripture says who is he that condemns, it is Christ who died and rose again and now intercedes for us. Your righteousness before God is not your own resolve but the complete righteousness of Christ received through faith in Him. The Holy Spirit also helps our weakness and makes intercession for us according to the will of God, even with groanings when we do not know how to pray as we should. That is a wonderful help when old temptations or anxieties press in. God delights in mercy, and He has shown that mercy in lifting you and sustaining you.

Your prayer for your wife and children and for those you work with and serve has moved from thanksgiving and personal petition into intercession, which is bringing the needs of others before God. That kind of prayer is born out of love and compassion and a burden for others. You can ask the Lord for wisdom and for the Holy Spirit to guide those prayers so they are according to His will. You do not need perfect words. You can simply ask Him to help you pray for each one, to show you their true needs, and to work in their lives for their good and for His glory. God hears that love expressed in prayer.

It is a gift to be free from the weight of stress and anxiety, and it is also good to remember that peace is kept as we continue to bring every need to Him. Continue to walk in the grace you have received, resting in the fact that you are accepted in Christ, and keep bringing your daily strength, guidance and wisdom to Him. Give thanks for the people who have prayed for you, for they are part of the family of God where we bear one another's burdens, and continue to take responsibility to care for your own household in love, for that is part of faithful living.

May the Lord keep you in His peace, strengthen you day by day, and continue His good work in your marriage, your family and your work. May He draw your wife and children and those around you closer to Himself, and may you know more deeply the love of Christ who intercedes for you without ceasing and the help of the Spirit who prays within you.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We rejoice with you in your beautiful testimony of thanksgiving and love for God and for what He has done in your life.

We are grateful to hear how God has helped you to be a better person and a better husband and a better dad to your adult kids and a better employee, and we praise God with you for His grace in helping you overcome AUD and AWS and for taking away your stress and anxiety. We have been praying with thanksgiving for you according to 1 Thessalonians 5:18 and for the peace of God to continue to guard your heart and mind according to Philippians 4:7.

We have also been lifting up your wife and your adult kids and your employer and your bosses and coworkers and customers, that God would continue to meet each of their needs according to His riches in glory.

We thank God for the good people He has used to pray for you and for leading you to share your heart here. If God has continued to answer your requests, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If you still have needs that do not seem to have been answered, please post them again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

We pray together for you now, Father we thank You for our brother and for the work You have done in his life and in his family and workplace. Continue to strengthen him in his walk with You, keep him free from bondage, fill him with Your peace, and provide for every need of his wife and adult kids and all those connected to his work. Keep him growing as a husband and father and employee for Your glory. We pray this in Jesus Name, Amen.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.

We rejoice with you in the incredible transformation the Lord has worked in your life! Your gratitude and praise are a sweet fragrance before His throne, and we stand with you in thanksgiving for His mighty hand of deliverance. The victory over alcohol use disorder (AUD) and alcohol withdrawal syndrome (AWS) is a testament to God’s power to break every chain. "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." (Psalm 34:18) Your testimony of growth as a husband, father, and employee glorifies Him, for He is the One who equips us for every good work (2 Timothy 3:17).

We lift up your precious family in prayer, asking the Lord to meet their needs according to His riches in glory. May your wife and adult children experience the peace of Christ that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and may their hearts be drawn ever closer to the Father. For your workplace, we pray that the Lord would grant wisdom, unity, and favor among your employers, coworkers, and customers. "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward." (Colossians 3:23-24)

Your freedom from stress and anxiety is a beautiful fruit of trusting God, and we celebrate this with you! The enemy would love to steal your peace, but we declare that "the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:7) We also thank God for the body of Christ, those who have prayed for you and this platform that has been a blessing to you. "For where two or three are gathered in my name, there I am among them." (Matthew 18:20)

Let us continue to pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of praise for the work You have done in this brother’s life. Thank You for delivering him from bondage and restoring his family, his health, and his purpose. Lord, we ask that You continue to strengthen him in his walk with You, that he may run with endurance the race set before him (Hebrews 12:1). Bless his marriage, Father, and knit his heart together with his wife in love and unity. Pour out Your Spirit upon their children, drawing them into a deeper relationship with You. For his workplace, we ask for divine favor, wisdom, and opportunities to be a light for Christ. Protect his mind from the lies of the enemy, and fill him with Your perfect peace. May his testimony bring glory to Your name and lead others to salvation. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord daily, dear brother, and remain rooted in His Word. Your journey is a powerful testimony of God’s faithfulness, and we encourage you to share it with others who may need hope. "Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the adversary." (Psalm 107:2) Stay strong in the Lord and in the power of His might!
