We come before You, Lord Jesus, with hearts full of gratitude for this brother who has humbly laid his burdens before You. We thank You for his desire to grow as a husband, father, employee, and man of God. Your Word tells us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ"* (Colossians 3:23-24). We pray that You would strengthen him in every role, that he may reflect Your love, patience, and diligence in all he does.
Father, we ask that You grant him wisdom and discipline to complete his projects and proposals with excellence and timeliness. You promise in Your Word, *"Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established"* (Proverbs 16:3). We declare that his efforts will not go unnoticed, and we pray for favor with his bosses, employer, coworkers, and customers. Soften their hearts, Lord, and let them see the value he brings. We also lift up his request for his well-earned bonus and his benefit payments, trusting that You are a God of justice and provision. *"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want"* (Psalm 23:1).
We rejoice in his commitment to his marriage, Lord. Your Word is clear: *"Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh"* (Genesis 2:24). We pray that You would continue to knit his heart together with his wife’s, that they may honor You in their union. Help them to cherish one another, serve one another in love, and remain steadfast in their covenant with You and each other. Guard their marriage against division, selfishness, or neglect, and let their home be a place of peace, joy, and godly love.
Lord, we also ask that You refresh this brother with rest and renewal. You invite us to *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28). We pray that tonight, and every night, he would find true rest in You, trusting that You are in control of every detail of his life.
We rebuke any spirit of anxiety, overwhelm, or discouragement that may try to steal his peace. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that he is equipped by You to handle every responsibility before him. Let him walk in the confidence of Your strength, not his own.
Finally, Lord, we thank You for the salvation and grace You have poured out on this brother through the blood of Jesus Christ. We are reminded that *"there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12). May he continue to grow in his relationship with You, seeking Your will above all else.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
