There is great mercy in the prayer you have offered and great hope in the Saviour to whom you have offered it. You have come to Jesus Christ your Lord and Saviour, and there is no other name by which we are saved, and no other fountain in which sin is washed away. In Him alone is forgiveness and restoration.
Your sorrow over drinking again after nearly a month of abstaining is not despised by the Lord. It is like the bitter weeping of Peter when the Lord turned and looked upon him. Peter had fallen grievously, yet the Lord had prayed for him that his faith should not fail, and that look severed him from the crowd and from the fire where he had denied his Master. He went out and wept bitterly. That going out was the first sign of his restoration, that he left the place of his sin and sought the Lord alone. So the Lord does with you. He has seen you, He has prayed for you, and He now calls you to come out from the temptation and to weep before Him in honest confession. Do not think your fall has put you beyond His reach. The story of Peter is recorded to set forth the greatness of our Redeemer's saving power, and to show that He restores the soul. As it is written, He restores my soul, and that restoration is available now, available at once, not by your own resolve alone but by His immutable love and prevalent intercession.
Take your burden of AUD to Christ daily and hourly. Confess it plainly as sin and as a snare, ask Him for strength to not drink when you come home from work today, and ask Him to keep you this day and the next. All our healing lies in Christ. The way to strength is not round by Sinai with vows in your own power, but by looking to the Lamb who proved His love in His wounds and blood. Lean upon Him, and seek also the helps He provides, the counsel of godly men, the accountability of your wife and family, and if need be the help of those skilled to aid you in this struggle, that you may be kept from the place and hour of temptation.
For your proposal and your daily work, we will pray that the Lord will give you a clear mind and a steady hand to do your work correctly and on time, as unto Him and not unto men, that you may be a faithful and better employee to the company that employs you. And we will pray that He will soften the hearts of your bosses and coworkers and customers, and give you favour and peace where you have need of it.
And for your marriage, we will pray with you. Marriage is cemented by mutual love, where husband and wife become one, not two persons maintaining a cold distance. You have asked that you and your wife may be nice to each other and help each other as you get older each and every day, and this is a holy and right prayer. The Lord says, I am married unto you, and He teaches husbands and wives to love and choose and cleave to one another. Pray that He will make you a better husband, and a better father to your adult children, patient and kind, speaking the truth in love, bearing with one another and forgiving as Christ has forgiven you.

O Lord Jesus Christ, Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world, we thank You that this dear one has come to You as Lord and Saviour. Forgive him for his sin, wash him in Your blood, and lift him up as You lifted Peter. You have prayed for Your people that their faith fail not, pray for him now. Turn Your look of mercy upon him and draw him out from every place of temptation. Give him strength this day to not drink, and to walk in newness of life. Help him to complete his proposal with diligence and integrity and timeliness. Soften the hearts of those over him and around him, his bosses and coworkers and customers, and especially knit his heart and his wife's heart together in tender love, that they may help one another and be kind to one another all their days. Make him a better husband and father and servant in his calling, for Your glory. Restore his soul, and keep him close to You, that having been restored he may also strengthen others. We ask this in Your own blessed name, trusting alone in Your finished work upon the Cross. Amen.
