Dear God please help me. I'm tired and I feel like a very old man. I feel like I am going to lose my job and I feel like I am then get a divorce and I am so sorry that I am not wanting to This anymore. Thank you for my opportunity to be a good person and a good husband and a good employee bla bla bla. Guess what I just spoke to my Best friend and we talked about what we did together when we were teenagers and now I feel like I can do this and I feel like I can do all good things through Christ. I will not give up I will be a better person and a better husband and a better employee and a better dad because that's what Jesus Christ would do. Peace out ###

We hear your cry for help, and we stand with you in this moment of weariness and fear. It is clear that you are carrying a heavy burden—one that weighs on your heart, your mind, and your spirit. You are not alone in this struggle. The Lord sees your exhaustion, your sorrow, and your desire to honor Him in your roles as a husband, father, and employee. We lift you up before the throne of grace, where mercy and help are found in times of need.

First, we want to affirm the turning point you experienced in your conversation with your friend. Remembering the strength and joy of your youth, and reconnecting with the truth that you *can* do all things through Christ who strengthens you (Philippians 4:13), is a powerful reminder of where your true hope lies. It is not in your own strength, your job, or even your marriage that you will find lasting peace—it is in Christ alone. He is the source of your endurance, your renewal, and your ability to press on.

We must also address the weight of your words about divorce. Marriage is a sacred covenant, not just between you and your wife, but before God Himself. The Lord hates divorce (Malachi 2:16), not because He desires to see you suffer, but because He designed marriage to reflect His unchanging, faithful love for His people. If there are struggles in your marriage, we urge you to seek godly counsel, to humble yourself before the Lord, and to fight for your marriage with the same fervor with which you would fight for your own soul. Do not entertain the thought of divorce as an escape, but instead, bring your pain, your frustrations, and your failures to the cross. Jesus is the healer of broken relationships, and He can restore what has been damaged if you will surrender it to Him.

You mentioned feeling like an "old man," and we understand that weariness can make the years feel heavier than they are. But Scripture reminds us that even the young grow tired and weary, yet those who wait on the Lord will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles; they will run and not be weary; they will walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:30-31). This is not just a promise for the future—it is a reality you can claim today. The Lord is not done with you. He has a purpose for you, and He will sustain you as you seek Him.

We also want to gently rebuke the spirit of despair that has crept into your heart. The enemy would love nothing more than to see you give up, to believe the lie that you are failing in every area of your life. But the truth is, you are not defined by your job performance, your marital struggles, or even your past mistakes. You are defined by the blood of Jesus, who has already declared you righteous, forgiven, and deeply loved. When you feel like you are falling short, remember that Christ’s grace is sufficient for you, and His power is made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). You do not have to be perfect—you just have to be willing to let Him work in you and through you.

Now, let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother who is weary and heavy-laden. Lord, we ask that You would lift the burden from his shoulders and replace it with Your yoke, which is easy, and Your burden, which is light. Strengthen him in his inner man, that he may not grow faint or lose heart. Renew his mind with the truth of Your Word, reminding him that his worth is found in You alone.

Father, we pray specifically for his marriage. Where there is strife, bring peace. Where there is distance, bring intimacy. Where there is bitterness, bring forgiveness. Help him to love his wife as Christ loves the church, sacrificially and unconditionally. Give him the courage to seek help, to communicate with humility, and to fight for his marriage as a reflection of Your covenant love.

Lord, we also pray for his job. If it is Your will for him to remain in his current position, give him favor with his employers and the strength to persevere. If it is time for a change, make the path clear and provide for his family according to Your riches in glory. Remind him that his identity is not tied to his employment, but to You, his Creator and Sustainer.

Father, we ask that You would fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in wisdom, patience, and self-control. Help him to be a godly husband, a loving father, and a diligent employee, not out of obligation, but out of a heart that desires to honor You. When he feels like giving up, remind him of the hope he has in Christ, and let that hope anchor his soul.

We rebuke the spirit of despair and fear in the name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against him will prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, he will condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord (Isaiah 54:17). We speak life, joy, and peace over him, and we thank You for the work You are doing in his life even now.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Brother, do not lose heart. The same God who parted the Red Sea, who raised Jesus from the dead, and who holds the stars in place is the God who is holding you. You are not forgotten. You are not abandoned. You are deeply loved, and your labor in the Lord is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58). Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith. He will complete the good work He has begun in you.

We're here with you, brother, standing in the gap as you face these challenges. We've been praying for you, and we want to encourage you with a word from the Lord.

You've been feeling like an old man, worn out and weary, but remember what the Bible says in Psalm 31:15, "My times are in your hands; deliver me from the hands of my enemies and from those who pursue me." God sees your weariness, and He's right there with you, ready to help.

We want to remind you of the power of praise. When you feel like giving up, start praising God. It might feel strange at first, but as you lift your hands and your voice to Him, He will lift you up (Psalm 146:2). Praise is a powerful weapon against discouragement and despair.

Also, remember that God is always faithful, even when we're not. In Lamentations 3:22-23, it's written, "The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness." God's love for you is constant, and His mercies are fresh every day.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep trusting in Jesus. He's the author and perfecter of your faith, and He's working in your life even when you can't see it. Keep your eyes on Him, and keep moving forward one step at a time.

We're praying for you, brother. We believe that God is going to strengthen you, renew you, and use you mightily for His glory. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep praising. You're not alone; we're in this with you.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings, healing, and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
