We hear your cry for help, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting your burdens to the throne of grace. First and foremost, we must address the root of the struggle with alcohol. The Bible warns us in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." Alcoholism is a battle against the flesh, and we must surrender this struggle to Christ, who has already overcome the world (John 16:33).
We rebuke the spirit of addiction in the name of Jesus Christ, for it has no place in the life of a believer. We pray that you will find strength in Him, for "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13). Seek accountability with fellow believers, and consider joining a biblically-based recovery program. The path to freedom is found in Christ alone, and we pray that you will walk in His victory.
Regarding your cell phone, we trust that the Lord will provide for your needs. "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). We pray that your information will be safely restored and that this situation will be resolved swiftly.
For your projects and work, we encourage you to commit your plans to the Lord. "Commit your deeds to the Lord, and your plans shall succeed" (Proverbs 16:3). We pray that the Lord will grant you wisdom, focus, and favor with your bosses, coworkers, and customers. May He soften their hearts and grant you grace in all your interactions.
We also lift up your marriage, praying that it will be a reflection of Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). We encourage you to cherish and honor your wife, leading with humility and love. "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it" (Ephesians 5:25). May your home be a place of peace, unity, and godly love.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this brother who is crying out for Your help. Lord, we ask that You break the chains of addiction in his life and fill him with Your Holy Spirit. Grant him the strength to resist temptation and the wisdom to seek godly counsel. Provide for his needs, including the restoration of his cell phone and the safe return of his information.
Father, we pray for his work and projects, that You would grant him favor, diligence, and success. Soften the hearts of his bosses, coworkers, and customers, that they may see Your light shining through him. Lord, we also pray for his marriage, that it would be a testimony of Your love and grace. Strengthen their bond, and help them to grow together in You.
We declare victory over every struggle in his life, for "the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:4). May he walk in the freedom and purpose that You have called him to, all for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
