Dear Jesus Christ please help me not lose my job and please help me because my wife ### me and I have not gone to work this week and I have to go back to work today and I am scared because I don't know what I'm doing anymore. My life is very sad. And I don't want to live like this anymore. Please help me not drink alcohol and smoking pot. It's making me feel bad. I'm in bed and I have to get out of bed soon and I am scared of going to work. Good night. Please help me

We hear your cry for help, and we come before the throne of grace in Jesus' name, lifting you up with compassion and concern. Your pain is real, and your struggles are heavy, but we serve a God who is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). You are not alone in this battle, and we stand with you, believing that the Lord will strengthen and uphold you.

First, we must address the sin that is entangling you. The use of alcohol and marijuana is not only harmful to your body, which is a temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), but it also clouds your judgment and leads you away from the clarity and peace that God desires for you. The Bible warns us, "Don’t be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit" (Ephesians 5:18). These substances are not the solution to your pain; they only deepen the struggle. We rebuke the spirit of addiction in Jesus' name and command it to lose its grip on your life. You must choose today to turn away from these things and seek the Lord with all your heart.

Your fear of going to work is understandable, but we encourage you to place your trust in the Lord. "For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7). The Lord is your provider, and He will not abandon you. Even if your job feels overwhelming, remember that He is your strength. "I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13). Take one step at a time, and lean on Him for wisdom and courage.

Your marriage is a sacred covenant, and the struggles you are facing are deeply painful. We do not know the specifics of what is happening between you and your wife, but we know that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16) and desires for marriages to reflect His love and faithfulness. If there is strife, bitterness, or unforgiveness, we urge you to seek reconciliation and healing. "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you" (Ephesians 4:32). Pray for your wife, even if she has hurt you, and ask the Lord to soften both of your hearts toward one another.

Your sadness and despair are heavy, but we remind you that Jesus came to give you life abundantly (John 10:10). He is the only one who can truly satisfy your soul. The psalmist cried out, "Why are you in despair, my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him, the saving help of my countenance, and my God" (Psalm 42:11). Turn to Him in your sorrow, and let Him lift the burden from your shoulders.

We pray for you now, believing that the Lord will move mightily in your life:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this dear brother who is struggling under the weight of fear, addiction, and sorrow. Lord, we ask that You would break the chains of alcohol and marijuana in his life. Cleanse him from all unrighteousness and fill him with Your Holy Spirit. Give him the strength to resist temptation and the wisdom to seek help from godly men who can walk alongside him in this battle.

Father, we pray for his job. Give him favor with his employers and coworkers. Grant him clarity of mind and the ability to perform his duties with excellence. Remove all fear and anxiety, and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Provide for his every need according to Your riches in glory.

Lord, we lift up his marriage to You. Heal any brokenness between him and his wife. Soften their hearts toward one another and restore love, trust, and communication. Let Your love flow through them, and may their marriage be a testimony to Your grace and faithfulness.

Father, we ask that You would lift the sadness from his heart. Remind him of Your promises and Your unfailing love. Draw him close to You and fill him with hope for the future. Let him know that You are his refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Surround him with Your angels and protect him from the schemes of the enemy.

We declare that this brother is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him (Romans 8:37). We speak life, healing, and restoration over his mind, body, and spirit. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

You are not without hope. The Lord sees your pain, and He is working even now to bring healing and restoration to your life. We encourage you to seek out a local church where you can find support, accountability, and fellowship with other believers. You do not have to walk this road alone. Confess your struggles to trusted brothers in Christ, and let them pray with you and encourage you. The Bible tells us, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective" (James 5:16).

Remember, the Lord is close to you. "The Lord is near to all those who call on him, to all who call on him in truth" (Psalm 145:18). Call on Him today, and He will answer. Your life has purpose, and God is not finished with you yet. Keep pressing into Him, and He will lead you into a place of peace and victory.

We're here with you, brother. We understand the fear and sadness you're feeling, but remember, Jesus is right beside you, ready to help. Let's pray together, shall we?

Dear Jesus, we come to You today, carrying our friend's heavy burden. We ask that You would break the chains of addiction that have been holding him back. Give him the strength to resist temptation and the courage to seek help from trusted brothers in Christ. Help him to find joy and peace in Your presence, and fill him with Your Holy Spirit.

Lord, we also lift up his job situation. Give him clarity of mind and the ability to perform his duties with excellence. Remove all fear and anxiety, and replace it with Your peace. Provide for his every need according to Your riches in glory.

Jesus, we ask for healing in his marriage. Soften both of their hearts towards each other and restore love, trust, and communication. Let their marriage be a testament to Your grace and faithfulness.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would lift the sadness from his heart. Remind him of Your promises and Your unfailing love. Draw him close to You and fill him with hope for the future. Surround him with Your angels and protect him from the schemes of the enemy.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

You're not alone in this, brother. We're here for you, and so is Jesus. Keep trusting in Him, one step at a time.

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.
