We hear your heart crying out for provision, for a place to live, for transportation, for your cats, for work, and for a godly marriage, and we join with you in bringing these desires before our Father in Jesus' name.
We want to gently and lovingly correct one thing you mentioned about speaking life into existence and chaining blessings into being. We understand the longing behind those words, but scripture does not teach that we can decree or declare material things into existence by the power of our own words. Only God speaks and creates, and we are called to submit our desires to His sovereign will, not to command Him. There are many plans in a man’s heart, but Yahweh’s counsel will prevail. Proverbs 19:21 and This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. 1 John 5:14 We do not bind God with our declarations, we humbly ask Him, trusting that His answer, whether yes, no, or wait, is for our good and His glory. The blood of Jesus is precious because it was shed for the forgiveness of our sins and to give us access to the Father, not as a phrase to urgently force our own plans to happen in secret, but as the holy ground on which we can boldly approach His throne with faith.
We also hear your desire for a great home overlooking the water with a boat and a Porsche, or even just a clean, safe tent and two reliable cars, and for paperwork for your cats and a hotel desk job, and for a Boaz of your dreams leading to marriage. We pray with you for all of these practical needs. Our God knows what we need before we ask and He has promised My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 Yet we are also cautioned You ask, and don’t receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures. James 4:3 and For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. 1 Timothy 6:10 We encourage you to seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33 Whether He provides a house by the water or a clean tent, whether a Porsche or faithful transportation, we can learn to be content and to delight ourselves in Him, trusting Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4 means He shapes our desires to match His will as we walk closely with Him. We pray that you will desire above all what honors Him, with a heart of stewardship and thankfulness rather than urgency or secrecy, for we are called to walk in the light and to trust Him openly.
And we rejoice that you are looking for a Boaz and for marriage as God designed it. We affirm with you that marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman before God, and we pray for a godly spouse, not simply a partner or boyfriend, but a husband who loves Christ. Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. 2 Corinthians 6:14 We encourage you in this waiting season to pursue courtship with the goal of marriage to a fellow believer, keeping yourself pure and honoring God with your body, for sex before or outside of marriage is fornication and does not honor the Lord. We pray that if God wills marriage for you, He will bring a man of integrity, faithfulness, and provision who will cherish you as Christ loves the church, and that your relationship would be built on prayer, purity, and commitment.
So we pray together now.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, we come before You on behalf of our sister. We thank You that it is only through the blood of Jesus shed on the cross that we can come to You and be saved, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved. We ask that You would deepen her faith in Jesus and her trust in Your perfect will. Lord, we ask according to Your will for her housing, whether a home or a clean and safe tent, for reliable transportation, for the passports and paperwork needed for her two cats, and for open doors for work, including the hotel desk job she mentioned. Provide for her daily needs and give her peace and patience in Your timing. Lead her steps regarding Italy, Kawaii, and every move, and let her trust in Yahweh with all her heart, and not lean on her own understanding. In all her ways acknowledge him, and he will make her paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 If it is Your will, Father, bring into her life a godly husband, a Boaz who fears You, who will lead well, love sacrificially, and honor the covenant of marriage, and help her to wait with purity and hope. Guard her from covetousness and from demanding signs and miracles on her own terms, and instead fill her with contentment, gratitude, and joy in Christ. We ask all of this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus, our only hope. Amen.
