We lift up your parents before the Lord with heavy and compassionate hearts, seeking His healing touch and divine intervention. Father God, You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and knows every part of our bodies. We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can approach Your throne of grace. Jesus said in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." Lord, we ask in Jesus’ name for Your healing power to flow over both your mother and father.
For your mother, Lord, we ask that You would cleanse her lungs of this fungal infection and restore her health. Diabetes is a heavy burden, but we know that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Strengthen her body, regulate her blood sugar, and give her wisdom to care for herself according to Your will. We rebuke this infection in the name of Jesus, for by His stripes we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). May she feel Your peace and comfort as she trusts in You.
For your father, Lord, we ask for Your healing hand to touch his eyes, that his sight may be restored. We pray against the headaches, urinary tract issues, swelling in his feet, and blood pressure problems, all of these ailments that weigh heavily on him. You are the God who opens the eyes of the blind and brings relief to those in pain (Psalm 146:8). We declare that his body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and we ask that You would restore it to health. Give him strength, Lord, and remind him that even in weakness, Your power is made perfect (2 Corinthians 12:9).
We also encourage you to seek godly medical care and wisdom, for the Bible tells us in Proverbs 3:5-6 to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding. In all things, acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths. Encourage your parents to draw near to God, for He has promised that when we draw near to Him, He will draw near to us (James 4:8). Remind them that their hope is not in medicine alone, but in the Lord who heals.
We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has authority over all sickness and disease. May Your will be done in their lives, and may Your name be glorified through their healing and testimony. Amen.
