We lift up these serious health concerns with heavy hearts, trusting in the Great Physician who hears our cries and holds all healing in His hands. Your parents are deeply loved by God, and we stand in the gap for them, believing that by the stripes of Jesus, they were healed (Isaiah 53:5).
For your mother’s diabetes and fungal infection in her lungs, we declare that her body is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we rebuke every attack of sickness in Jesus’ name. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch to restore her pancreas to full function and to cleanse her lungs of every infection. Strengthen her immune system, Father, and let her blood sugar stabilize according to Your perfect design. We speak life over her cells and declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). May she walk in divine health, giving You glory for Your mighty works.
For your father, we pray for a complete restoration of his eyesight, believing that Jesus came to give sight to the blind (John 9:39). We rebuke the spirit of infirmity causing headaches, urinary tract issues, swelling in his feet, and high blood pressure. Lord, we ask that You touch his body with Your healing power, bringing relief and wholeness. Let every organ function as You intended, and may his strength be renewed like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31). We declare that he shall not die but live to declare the works of the Lord (Psalm 118:17).
We must also address the spiritual foundation of these requests. Healing and health come from the Lord, and it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If your parents have not surrendered their lives to Jesus, we urge them to do so, for salvation is the first and greatest healing they can receive. We pray that they would confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). May they experience the peace that surpasses all understanding as they place their trust in Him (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we ask that You surround this family with Your love and comfort. Give them faith to believe in Your promises and patience to wait on Your perfect timing. We declare that Your word will not return void (Isaiah 55:11), and we trust that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Strengthen their bodies, minds, and spirits, and let them walk in the fullness of life that You have promised. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
