We join with you together in prayer in Jesus' name and we have heard the deep desires of your heart for a home to stay, for a godly marriage, for beauty and joy, for a life of peace and for your work to flourish, and we bring all of these before the Lord with you.
We rejoice that you desire to be a wife and to have a marriage that honors God, for marriage is holy and good when it is between a man and a woman committed for life as God designed it. We pray that if it is His will, He will bring you a godly husband, a Boaz who loves Christ first and will love you as Christ loves the church, and that your courtship would be pure and centered on Christ with marriage as the goal. We pray that any relationship would be with a fellow believer and kept holy, for we are called to flee fornication and to honor God with our bodies as it is written in 1 Corinthians 6:18 and Hebrews 13:4. We pray for your dreams of a home and garden and a business, whether in Roswell or wherever He leads you, and we ask that He would establish the work of your hands in a way that glorifies Him.
We also want to gently and lovingly speak truth over some things you have expressed that do not align with Scripture. You mentioned that you have earned favor by your work for the Lord and the universe and that favor is now owed to you one hundred fold. Scripture teaches us that favor and salvation are not earned by our works but are given by grace through faith, Ephesians 2:8-9 says for by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast. We cannot earn God's blessing, and we do not speak to the universe, for the universe is creation, but we pray to the Creator, our Father in heaven, who alone is sovereign and good. Our hope is not in declaring life into existence by our own words, but in submitting our desires to His perfect will, for Proverbs 19:21 says there are many plans in a man's heart, but Yahweh's counsel will prevail, and Matthew 6:33 reminds us to seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
We also hear your heart regarding those you call corndogs and others you feel have cursed you, and your desire that they would die first and have no peace. We understand the pain of feeling cursed, overlooked, or harassed by neighbors and others, but we are called not to curse or wish death upon anyone, even our enemies. Romans 12:14 says bless those who persecute you; bless, and don't curse, and Matthew 5:44 says love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. Vengeance belongs to the Lord, Romans 12:19 says don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. The blood of Jesus was shed to save and forgive, not to call down curses upon others, and we are to desire that all would come to repentance, as 1 Timothy 2:4 teaches.
We love that you quoted Deuteronomy 28:13 that Yahweh will make you the head, and not the tail, and you will be above only, and you will not be beneath, but this promise was given to Israel as they walked in obedience to God's voice, and our identity as the head is found in Christ as we walk humbly with Him, not in demanding that others be made the tail. God does turn curses into blessing for those who love Him, Romans 8:28 says we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose, but this is His work, not our incantation.
We also gently encourage you regarding beauty and favor. Your desire to look fabulous and to have a makeover is understood, but Scripture reminds us that true beauty is not only outward, 1 Peter 3:3-4 says let your beauty come not from the outward adorning of braiding your hair, and of wearing gold ornaments or of putting on fine clothing, but in the hidden person of the heart, in the incorruptible adornment of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God. Psalm 37:4 also guides us, delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart, as we delight in Him first, not in demanding today but trusting His timing, for Jeremiah 29:11 says For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.
So we pray together now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, by whose blood we have access to Your throne of grace, and we thank You for this dear sister who longs for home, for love, for peace and for purpose. We ask that You would forgive us where we have tried to earn Your favor or have spoken curses over others, and wash us clean by the blood of Jesus. Lord, we ask that You would give her a heart that rests in Your grace and not in striving, and that she would know that she is already highly favored in Christ. We pray that if it is Your will, You would provide a godly Christian husband for her to marry, a man who will honor You and cherish her, and that You would keep their courtship pure until marriage. We pray for a stable home, for provision for the bed and breakfast and salon desires if they are from You, and that all she does would be to build Your Kingdom and not just her own dreams. We pray for her neighbors and for those who have caused her pain, that You would bless them, bring them to repentance, and give her peace where she lives, whether You keep her where she is or lead her to New Mexico or elsewhere. Let no weapon formed against her prosper and let her find her security not in a secret ranch but in dwelling in Your presence. Turn every curse meant for harm into blessing by Your sovereign hand and teach her to bless those who have hurt her. Grant her inner peace, a gentle and quiet spirit, and joy that does not depend on Disneyland or outward things but on Christ alone. We trust Your timing and Your perfect will for her life today and in the days to come. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
