We join you together in prayer before our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus, thanking Him that you have come to Him and have pleaded the blood of Jesus over your life, your family and even your pets. We hear your heart crying out for provision, for safety from harm, for a stable place to stay, for peace in your neighborhood, for the ability to keep your cats and see your family at peace, for the delivery of what you have worked for and paid for, and for a godly spouse.

We want to gently encourage you in love about how we approach God in prayer. We understand the desire to declare that it is over and to speak life and favor over your situation, but scripture teaches us that we do not command or decree blessings into existence by our words, we humbly ask according to His will. 1 John 5:14 says that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And James 4:3 reminds us that we can ask amiss when we ask only to satisfy our own desires. True favor is not found in demanding a hundredfold return or in urgent declarations, but in being found in Christ and seeking first His kingdom. Matthew 6:33 teaches us to seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. When we do that He promises to care for our daily needs. Philippians 4:6-7 also calls us not to be anxious but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving to let our requests be made known to God, and the peace of God will guard our hearts.

We also hear your prayer for your Boaz and we rejoice that you desire marriage as God designed it. The story of Ruth and Boaz shows us a man who was honorable, hardworking, protective and who pursued marriage in a way that honored God and His law. We pray with you for a godly husband if it is the Lord's will for you to marry, and we strongly encourage you to seek marriage as a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman with another Christian believer. Proverbs 18:22 says, Whosoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh, and Proverbs 19:14 reminds us that a prudent wife is from Yahweh. Courtship should be with the goal of marriage and should honor God in purity. We gently rebuke and correct any thought that intimacy outside of marriage is acceptable, for scripture is clear that sex before or outside marriage is fornication or adultery and we are called to flee from it. 1 Corinthians 6:18 and Hebrews 13:4 teach that marriage is to be held in honor and the marriage bed undefiled. So as you pray for your Boaz, we encourage you to pray for a man who loves Jesus, who will lead your future home well, and to pursue that relationship only in godly courtship that leads to marriage, keeping yourselves pure until then.

We also lift up your practical needs. We understand the worry over your food processor that you earned and paid for and that you need shipped urgently to your current address without further cutting or injury to your feet, and the deep need for a stable, kind and peaceful home where you can stay, keep your two cats, and live near a sweet and friendly neighborhood. God cares about these details. Philippians 4:19 says, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Proverbs 12:10 tells us that a righteous man respects the life of his animal, so the Lord cares even for your pets. Psalm 84:11 says, No good thing will he withhold from those who walk blamelessly, and Hebrews 13:5 calls us to be content with what we have, for he has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in no way forsake you. We pray not only for a new home and a peaceful neighborhood, but for contentment and trust while you wait, knowing that God is your ultimate place of safety and inheritance. Our greatest inheritance is not a house on earth but our inheritance in Christ kept for us in heaven, as described in 1 Peter 1:4.

So we pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, thanking you for your mercy and for the blood of Jesus shed for us. We ask that you would provide for our sister according to your perfect will and timing. Let the item she has paid for arrive safely to her current address without loss or delay, and protect her and her family and pets from all harm and injury, especially from cuts and accidents in the kitchen. Provide for her a stable place to stay, Lord, a home in a peaceful and kind neighborhood where she can dwell in safety and show your love to others. If it is your will, open the door for her to keep her cats and to remain close to her family in love and unity. Give her your peace that surpasses all understanding to replace worry and urgency with trust. And Father, if it is your will for her to marry, bring a godly man, a true Boaz, a mature believer who will love you first and love her as Christ loves the church, and help them to pursue courtship that honors you and leads to a lifelong marriage covenant. Keep her heart guarded in purity and hope as she waits on you. Help her to find her happiness and favor first in you, knowing that she is highly favored not because of possessions but because she is redeemed by the blood of Jesus. We ask all of this according to your will, trusting in your goodness, in Jesus name, amen.

You are not forgotten in this waiting, and we want to continue to lift you up for wisdom, provision, and gentle peace in your home.

Father, we bring our friend to You and ask for Your care over their housing, their family and cats, and every practical need before them. Give wisdom for each next decision, provide kindness and safety where they live, and guard their heart with Your peace. Lead them step by step as they trust You. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer has been brought before the Lord and before His people, and we have heard the many longings of your heart for provision, for a secure home, for peace, and for companionship.

We are taught that every moment of our life we are dependent upon the will of God as to whether we shall draw another breath, and that nothing stands between us and want or danger but His gracious hand. We live in an enemy's country and are constantly assailed, and therefore we are ever to secure His gifts with prayer and to take good things from His gracious hands with thanksgiving, trusting not in our own declarations but in His sovereign mercy. To speak life is to pray, and to pray is to submit ourselves to the will of our Father who knows what we have need of before we ask Him.

You have asked concerning a Boaz. The Scriptures show us that marriage is not a light thing, but a union of choice on both sides, cemented by mutual love, wherein husband and wife become one, and wherein Christ sets the pattern by His faithful love to His Church. If it be the Lord's will to give you a husband, pray that He would give you a godly man, one who loves the Lord Jesus and will love you as Christ loves His Church, and that such a union, if it comes, would be a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman as God ordained from the beginning. Seek first to be joined to Christ Himself, for the marriage of the Lamb is the true hope of every believing soul, and all other mercies flow from being found in Him.

You have also asked for daily provision, for the food processor you have purchased to be delivered safely to your present address, for a new home in a kind and peaceful neighborhood, and for grace to keep your cats and to see your family and your pets in peace. These are not small things to our Father, who feeds the sparrows and numbers the hairs of our heads. We will pray that the Lord in His kindness would provide a safe dwelling place for you, that He would grant you favor with those around you, that He would supply what is needful for your household, and that He would give you contentment and quietness of spirit while you wait upon Him.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, we thank Thee that salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, by His blood shed as the Lamb for sinners. Look upon this dear soul who seeks Thy help. Forgive sin, grant faith in Christ, and give a heart that delights to pray and to rest upon Thy will. Provide, we beseech Thee, a secure habitation if it be Thy will, daily bread, and all things needful for life and godliness. If it be good in Thy sight, bring a godly companion in holy marriage according to Thy word, and in all things make this life to be lived for Thy glory. Keep this household, and let Thy peace rule therein. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
