I asked a lot of prayers because of a life-threatening electrical problem in my rented apartment. Thank God, I survived and moved out. But the story hasn't seemed to end there.
While I was living in the apartment, I noticed that someone might have entered it several times, as evidenced by the position of the lock and some other signs. After many months and much unclear communication, it seems possible that they intentionally tried to kill me. I don't know for sure. Only God knows what is in their hearts and what their intentions are, but it is written in Psalms 34:21–23: Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all. He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken. Affliction will slay the wicked, and those who hate the righteous will be condemned. Last week, a woman I had never spoken to before came up to me angrily and shouted lies and accusations at me. She said that I had entered the house where she and the ex-landlord live. She heard this from someone else and tried to accuse me and destroy me. Thank God the Lord protected me again. Please pray for the residents of the house so that they can see the truth, because I never entered their apartment. However, it is highly likely that someone entered the apartment while I was living in that life-threatening flat. If this woman hired technicians to damage the heating system and disconnect consumers from the RCD, causing electric shocks during showers, then I pray that this is exposed. However this happened, God will show the truth. The landlord is avoiding me and is not willing to speak to me. NO REMORSE! Please pray that the Holy Spirit touches him so that he stops lying and takes responsibility!

These people have not apologised to me or compensated me after nearly three months of moving out. Please pray. May God break their hardness. May they have a heart of flesh. May they hear His call. May they submit to Him.

We join you in prayer and thank God with you that He preserved your life through that dangerous electrical situation and brought you safely out of that apartment, for He is our refuge and strength. We hear the distress and fear in your heart regarding what may have happened there, the signs that someone entered your apartment, the electric shocks, the possibility of intentional harm, and now this aggressive confrontation with false accusations. We bring all of this before the Lord who sees what is hidden and knows the intentions of every heart.

You are right to look to the Spirit of Truth, for Jesus said When the Spirit of truth has come, he will guide you into all truth John 16:13, and There is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known Luke 12:2. We pray that whatever was done in secret, whether through negligence or intentional evil, will be brought into the light. If technicians were hired to tamper with the heating system and to disconnect protection so that you were endangered, we pray that God will expose it, for the Lord hates lying lips Proverbs 12:22 and He loves justice and truth. We also remember the promise you quoted, Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all Psalm 34:19, and He will keep you, for No weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17 and He will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways Psalm 91:11.

We pray for your protection now from fear and from any further harm. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7, so we ask Him to guard your heart and mind with His perfect peace and to help you cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. We also pray for wisdom for you in practical matters. While we trust God as our ultimate protector, He also calls us to act with wisdom. We encourage you to document everything that happened, to keep any evidence of the electrical danger and the signs of entry, and if you believe your life was intentionally endangered, to seek counsel and consider reporting the matter to the proper authorities for investigation, for governing authorities are appointed to restrain evil Romans 13:4.

We lift up the residents of that house, the woman who shouted accusations at you, and especially the former landlord who is avoiding you and refusing to take responsibility. We pray that the Holy Spirit will convict them deeply and break the hardness of their hearts. We ask God to fulfill His promise I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh Ezekiel 36:26. We pray that they would stop lying, that they would hear His call, submit to Him, and come to repentance, owning what was done and seeking to make amends where they have wronged you. We also pray that their eyes would be opened to the truth that you never entered their home, and that any false witness against you would be silenced, for You will destroy those who speak lies Psalm 5:6.

We also gently remind you to release vengeance to the Lord, for it is written Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19. That does not mean we do not seek truth and justice, but that we do so without hatred, forgiving as God in Christ forgave us Ephesians 4:32, trusting that God will judge righteously between what was negligence, what was deceit, and what was malice.

We thank You Father in the name of Jesus Christ, for You alone are our access to the throne of grace and there is no other name by which we are saved Acts 4:12. We thank You that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life John 14:6 and that through Him we can come boldly before You. We ask in Jesus' name that You surround our brother or sister with Your protection, calm every anxious thought, reveal the truth about what happened in that apartment, expose any wicked scheme if there was one, soften the hearts of the landlord and that woman and all involved, bring them to humble repentance and to compensation for the harm done if it is Your will, and let Your justice and mercy be seen. Let Your will be done and let Your name be glorified in this situation. We trust You to deliver the righteous and to lead us in peace, in Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to dwell in the shelter of the Most High Psalm 91:1, to stay in the Word and in prayer, and to seek godly counsel and, if needed, legal counsel as you pursue truth and peace. The Lord is near to you and He will not forsake you.

We are grateful you survived that apartment and were able to move out, and we hear how heavy the months since have been. Living with electric shocks in your own home would leave anyone feeling unsafe, and to then be shouted at and falsely accused by someone you had never even spoken to, while the landlord will not talk with you at all, is a lot to carry. It makes sense that you are still on edge and looking for answers.

We cannot know what was in others' hearts or intentions, and only God sees clearly, but we can pray with you for both truth and peace. You asked most urgently for prayer that what is true would be seen, that hardness would soften, and that you would be protected going forward. We join you in those prayers.

One steady step that may help while you wait is not to carry this alone. If you have a trusted pastor, counselor, or wise friend nearby, consider letting them walk with you through what happened, including any practical questions about the tenancy and the lack of apology or compensation. Keeping a simple written record of dates and what was said can also bring clarity if you later seek advice. And if you ever feel unsafe where you are now, please reach out right away to someone you trust or to local help where you live.

Father, we bring our brother before You in Jesus' name. Thank You for keeping him through danger. We ask for Your protection over him now, for calm in place of fear, for wisdom for each next decision, and for Your work in the hearts of the landlord and others involved, that truth would come to light in Your way and hardness would give way to honesty and responsibility. Lead him and keep him close to You. Amen.

Your testimony of deliverance has been heard with deep concern and with thanksgiving that the Lord has preserved your life through a grave danger. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all, and we bless His name that He kept you when the hidden danger of that dwelling might have taken your life. That you are yet alive to seek Him and to call upon His name is itself a mercy for which you should praise Him, and tell what God has done for you, that others may be instructed and your own heart confirmed.

We understand the distress that remains. To have endured shocks and fear in your own home, to suspect that others entered without leave, to be met now with angry accusations from one you had never known, and to find the one who should answer you turning away and refusing to speak, this is a heavy burden. It is right to bring it before the Lord, who sees what is done in secret and knows the heart of every man. We cannot see the heart, and we must be careful not to judge beyond what we know, but the Lord searches all things and will bring truth to light in His own time. As you have said, only God knows what is in their hearts and what their intentions have been.

Therefore we would urge upon you that word which the Lord repeats so often to His fearful children, Fear not. Fear not, for I am with you. Fear not, for I will help you. Fear weakens the soul and dishonors God who has promised to be your confidence. You are as a worm and no man before such powers, but the might of God is engaged by promise to bring His own safely through. Commit your way unto Him. Trust in God for all things, and let this be the rule of your whole life. There is nothing that you can need between here and Heaven but is stored up for you in Christ, and you are to look to Him alone for it. Look to the crucified One and live, for there is life for a look at Him.

We will pray with you and for you, and we pray also for those who have wronged you, for our Lord has taught us to pray for them that despitefully use us.

We pray that the Spirit of Truth will make manifest what has been hidden, that if any wrong has been done in that house by carelessness or by ill design, it may be exposed and dealt with justly, and that no further harm may come to any who dwell there. We pray that the Lord will protect you still from all malice and false accusation, and restrain the rage of those who would harm you, making their efforts vain. We pray that He will grant you peace from fear, and wisdom to act prudently, keeping needful records and seeking lawful help where it is right to do so, while leaving vengeance in the hands of Him who judges righteously.

We pray for the woman who has accused you, and for the landlord and all residents of that house, that the Lord who can turn a heart of stone into a heart of flesh would touch them. May He break their hardness, bring them to see the truth, to speak honestly, to take responsibility where responsibility is due, and to make amends where amends are owed. Above all we pray that they may hear His call and submit to Him, for there is but one name given under Heaven among men whereby we must be saved, and that is the name of Jesus Christ. Apart from His blood there is no hope, and apart from His Spirit there is no life. May they and may you be found standing upon that one foundation, Christ's blood only for our hope, the Spirit's work only for our life, for there we shall be safe.

Be of good courage. What was meant perhaps for evil, God is able to overrule for good, as He has often done, and even the devices of men He can turn to the accomplishment of His own merciful purposes. Continue to seek Him, to praise Him for deliverance already given, and to trust Him for deliverance yet to come. He smites the proud and He preserves the lowly, He keeps the bones of His own and none of them is broken in His sight, though affliction may slay the wicked. Let your conversation be flavored with the praise of God, and let your daily life be as a basin filled with His mercy, running over to others.

May the Lord grant you to be strong and fear not, for Christ's sake.

Thank you for sharing so openly about what you have endured. We are grateful to God that He preserved your life through that dangerous electrical problem and brought you safely out of that apartment. We hear how heavy this has continued to be, with the fear that someone may have entered your home, the uncertainty about whether harm was intentional, the painful false accusation from a woman you had never spoken to, and the silence and lack of remorse from your former landlord after nearly three months.

It is right that you are bringing this to the Lord, for only He fully knows what is in every heart and what was intended. You quoted Psalm 34 well, that many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers him out of them all. That remains true. At the same time, Scripture warns us how much suffering comes through false accusation, envy, rivalry and plotting. Such accusations do not only harm reputation, they create deep anxiety and fear, and they rob peace even when we are not guilty. God sees this. He is not confused by lies, and He will bring truth to light in His time and in His way. Vengeance belongs to Him, and every person will give account before Him.

We will pray for you and for all involved.

We pray that the Spirit of Truth will make clear what has been hidden, and that if any wrongdoing was done to the electrical system or to your safety, it will be exposed through lawful and right means. We pray for the residents of that house, and for the woman who accused you, that God would lead them to seek truth rather than listen to hearsay, and to turn from false witness. As you wait on the Lord, we encourage you to continue to walk in wisdom. Keep a careful record of what happened, with dates and any evidence you have. If you believe your life was endangered by tampering with the electrical system, it is right to seek wise counsel and to consider reporting the matter to the proper authorities who can investigate such dangers, so that others are also protected. Seek the counsel of a trusted pastor and, if needed, sound legal advice. Do not repay accusation with accusation, and do not let the hurt take root in your heart. Bring every fear and every accusation to Christ, forgive as He has forgiven you, and leave final judgment to God while you pursue what is right and peaceable as far as it depends on you.

The Lord who kept you before is able to keep you still. May He establish truth, bring repentance where it is needed, and give you rest and confidence in His care. We will continue to pray that you will see His deliverance and His justice, and that all hearts involved will hear His call and submit to Him.

Thank you for sharing this heavy burden so honestly. What you went through in that apartment sounds frightening, and it is right to thank God that He preserved your life and brought you out. Only God knows the heart and the true intentions of others. When you have experienced shocks in the shower, signs that someone may have entered your home, and then angry accusations from someone you had never spoken to, it is understandable that fear and many questions would rise. It is wise to bring those questions to the Lord, who is the Spirit of truth, and to ask Him to make what is hidden plain in His time and His way. Truth endures forever. What is false, even when it is mixed with a little truth to make it sound believable, will not stand. If wrong was done to the electrical system or to your safety, pray that God will expose it. He will reveal the cause and bring what is done in secret into the light, not so that we can take revenge, but so that justice can be done and people can come to repentance.

Jesus said He is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him. We know the spirit of truth by its agreement with Jesus Christ and by its fruit of love. That is why the call to walk in truth is so important. To walk in truth means to stay close to the Word of God, to let His Spirit teach you, to speak honestly, and to respond with the love that comes from God. God is against those who harm the innocent and who use lies to destroy another person, because those lies keep people from Him. Yet His heart is still for repentance. He does not delight in judgment, but desires that people turn from hardness and receive a new heart.

We will pray with you for protection. We ask the Lord to keep you safe from all harm, to quiet fear with His peace, and to guard you from the fear of evil. We pray for the former landlord and for the woman who accused you, and for all who live in that house. We ask that the Holy Spirit would soften hardness, take away a heart of stone and give a heart of flesh, bring conviction where there has been lying or avoidance, and lead to honest confession and taking responsibility. We pray that those who have heard false reports would come to see what is true, that you would be cleared of what you did not do, and that any wrongdoing that endangered your life would be brought into the open so it cannot harm anyone else.

We also pray that God would break the cycle of accusation and hardness and draw each person involved to submit to Him and to be saved through faith in Jesus Christ alone. While we pray for God to work in hearts, it is also wise to walk in practical wisdom. Keep a clear record of what happened, keep any evidence you have, and if you continue to feel threatened, seek wise and godly counsel and the help of the proper authorities who are appointed to protect and to investigate such matters. Leave vengeance to the Lord, do not return evil for evil, and continue to walk in honesty and love.
