Is it possible this aggressive woman might have hired people to kill me? Spirit of Truth, Jesus shows us the truth...

Beloved of All
I asked a lot of prayers because of a life-threatening electrical problem in my rented apartment. Thank God, I survived and moved out. But the story hasn't seemed to end there.
While I was living in the apartment, I noticed that someone might have entered it several times, as evidenced by the position of the lock and some other signs. After many months and much unclear communication, it seems possible that they intentionally tried to kill me. I don't know for sure. Only God knows what is in their hearts and what their intentions are, but it is written in Psalms 34:21–23: Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all. He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken. Affliction will slay the wicked, and those who hate the righteous will be condemned. Last week, a woman I had never spoken to before came up to me angrily and shouted lies and accusations at me. She said that I had entered the house where she and the ex-landlord live. She heard this from someone else and tried to accuse me and destroy me. Thank God the Lord protected me again. Please pray for the residents of the house so that they can see the truth, because I never entered their apartment. However, it is highly likely that someone entered the apartment while I was living in that life-threatening flat. If this woman hired technicians to damage the heating system and disconnect consumers from the RCD, causing electric shocks during showers, then I pray that this is exposed. However this happened, God will show the truth. The landlord is avoiding me and is not willing to speak to me. NO REMORSE! Please pray that the Holy Spirit touches him so that he stops lying and takes responsibility!

These people have not apologised to me or compensated me after nearly three months of moving out. Please pray. May God break their hardness. May they have a heart of flesh. May they hear His call. May they submit to Him.

We have heard your cry and we thank God with you that He delivered you from that life threatening electrical danger and brought you safely out of that apartment. We join you in praising Him for His protection again when you were falsely accused by this woman, and we stand with you seeking the truth to be made known.

We understand the fear and distress you have carried, noticing signs that someone may have entered your apartment, experiencing electric shocks during showers, and now facing angry accusations and a landlord who avoids you and shows no remorse. It is right to bring all of this before the Lord, for only He sees what is done in secret and knows every heart. As it is written, Man does not see what Yahweh sees, for man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart 1 Samuel 16:7 and also I, Yahweh, search the heart, I try the mind Jeremiah 17:10. We do not know for certain what intentions lay behind the electrical failures or who is responsible, and we must be careful not to accuse beyond what we know, lest we also fall into false judgment. Vengeance belongs to the Lord, and He will bring what is hidden into the light. For nothing is hidden that will not be revealed; nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light Luke 8:17. Jesus Himself promised, When he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth John 16:13.

We take comfort with you in the psalm you quoted, Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all. He keeps all his bones. Not one of them is broken Psalm 34:19-20. We also cling to His promise, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust Psalm 91:1-2 and Fear not, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you Isaiah 41:10. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7.

We encourage you to continue to cast your anxiety on Him while also acting with wisdom. In all things be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. If there was genuine tampering with the heating system or the RCD that endangered your life, that is a serious matter of justice and safety. We encourage you to keep any evidence, photos, or records you have, to seek godly counsel, and if needed to bring the matter before the proper authorities who are appointed by God to uphold justice Romans 13:4. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good Romans 12:21 and as much as it depends on you, live peaceably with all Romans 12:18. Leave room for God's wrath, for it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19.

We also hear your longing for justice and repentance, that after nearly three months there has been no apology or compensation. It is right to pray that hardness would be broken. God promises, I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh Ezekiel 36:26. We pray for that work in the landlord and in this woman and any others involved, that the Holy Spirit would convict them of any lying, negligence, or wrongdoing and lead them to take responsibility and to make what is right. We also pray for you to be kept from bitterness, that you may forgive as Christ forgave, even as you seek truth and accountability.

We pray together now in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we are saved Acts 4:12, John 14:6.

Father in heaven, we thank You that You are our refuge and deliverer, that You kept this dear one from death when the electrical system failed and when false accusations were shouted. We ask You to surround them with Your protection and perfect peace and to guard their heart from fear. Lord, You know the truth about that apartment, whether anyone entered unlawfully and whether any work was done to cause harm. Bring into the light what was done in darkness and let no lie stand. We pray for the woman who accused them and for the former landlord and all residents of that house, that You would touch their hearts, remove any stony hardness, grant them a heart of flesh, and lead them to repentance, truthfulness, and responsibility. Convict them where they have lied or avoided the truth. If compensation or apology is just, move them to do what is right. We pray that You would show this dear one what steps to take, give wisdom to know whether to seek counsel or authorities, and provide for every need. Keep them from revenge and fill them with Your love and forgiveness. Let Your Spirit of Truth guide all involved into all truth and let Your justice and mercy prevail. We ask all this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

Thank you for trusting us with this heavy story. To live for months with electric shocks in your own shower and then to be shouted at with false accusations would leave anyone shaken. We are grateful with you that you got out safely, and we hear how unsettled you still feel with so many unanswered questions.

It makes sense that you long for the truth to be clear and for those responsible to take ownership, especially after nearly three months without an apology or any attempt to make things right. We cannot see what was in another person's heart or what they intended, only God can, and we will join you in asking Him to bring what needs to be seen into the light in His way and time, and to work in every heart involved.

Carrying both fear and the hurt of being unheard is exhausting, and it can keep your mind circling. One steady step that often helps is to keep a simple written record of dates, what happened, and any electrician or inspection reports you have, and to share that record only with a calm, neutral person you trust, a pastor, a tenant advice service, or a legal advisor, rather than seeking answers directly from those who are avoiding you or speaking to you in anger. That can protect your peace while still honoring your desire for truth and accountability.

Father, in Jesus' name we lift our friend to You. Guard them and grant deep rest and safety. Give wisdom for each next decision, quiet the fear that lingers, and in Your mercy bring truth and softened hearts where You are at work. Lead them day by day in Your peace. Amen.

How mercifully the Lord has preserved you, and how clearly He has shown His hand in delivering you from a peril that might have taken your life. You do well to give thanks that you were kept, for divine interpositions come in the way of deliverance from floods of trouble, and what remarkable preservations of life we enjoy, not miraculous, certainly, but full of wonder for all that. He keeps all the bones of His people, and though many are the afflictions of the righteous, the Lord delivers him out of them all.

You speak of suspicions that are heavy upon your mind, of entries into your former dwelling, of a heating system tampered with and of protection removed from the electrical supply, and of an angry accusation lately brought against you by one you had not before spoken with. In such a season the heart is sorely tried, and only God knows what is in the hearts of men and what their intentions have truly been. There is no attribute more comforting to His children than the doctrine of Divine Sovereignty, for we must trace the hand of God in everything, and know that nothing escapes His sure observation. He is no false witness, but a sure observer, and He will bring truth to light in His own time and way.

Persecution, even when it does not take the form of imprisonment, but of slander and cruel mockings and venomous spite, has its uses in the church of God. It helps to keep up the separation between the church and the world, and often it drives the Christian nearer to his God. How many prayers have been offered up as the result of such trial that would never have been offered else, heaven alone can tell. God has blessed His people by their persecution, for it speeds their course as a wave lifting a vessel onward. Let this trial therefore drive you to prayer, and to that divine confidence which says, The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me. All the weight of your trouble, all the weight of your fear and uncertainty, the everlasting arches of divine mercy can and will sustain.

You ask for prayer that truth may be made manifest, and that those who have dealt falsely, if any have done so, may be brought to take responsibility. It is right to pray for truth and for justice, for God loves truth and hates lying lips. Have you never used false words, has your heart always gone with your tongue, is a question every man must ask before the tribunal of God, and we must bring our own cause there also, saying, Thy mercy, O Lord, try me. Pray then that the Lord would expose what is hidden, not for vengeance, but that righteousness may be established, and that the innocent may be cleared. If wrong has been done, pray that the Holy Spirit would break hardness of heart and give a heart of flesh, that there may be sorrow for sin and a turning to Him who alone can justify the ungodly.

For you were not justified by your own innocence in this matter, nor condemned by another's accusation, but it is God that justifies. Who is he that condemns. He went up to the accursed tree and freely gave Himself up to die, that God might be just, and yet the Justifier of him that believes in Jesus. Rest your case there. Commit your way unto the Lord, and leave retribution in His hands, for affliction will slay the wicked, and those who hate the righteous will be condemned. The dry tree by divine grace shall flourish, the green tree deserted by the dew of heaven shall dry up. The Lord who creates to display His own perfections will not forsake the work of His hands.

I will pray with you now.

O Lord our God, Thou who seest all things and by whom every motive is weighed, we thank Thee that Thou hast kept this life from death and the feet from falling. Thou didst deliver from the danger of that dwelling, and Thou didst protect again when false accusation was hurled. Perfect, we beseech Thee, that which concerneth this Thy servant. Let Thy mercy sustain every burden. Bring forth truth as the light, and justice as the noonday, if it be Thy will. Work by Thy Spirit upon those concerned, the former landlord and all residents of that house and this woman who has spoken in anger, that they may come to love truth and to speak it, and that hardness may be broken and a heart of flesh be given. Grant repentance where repentance is needed, and grant forgiveness where forgiveness must be exercised. Keep this Thy servant from bitterness and from fear, and teach a full trust in Thy sovereign hand. And if earthly authorities must be sought for protection and for lawful inquiry, give wisdom to act soberly and righteously. Above all, justify by Thy grace through faith in the blood of Christ, that all may know there is no other name by which we must be saved. Hear us for Jesus Christ's sake, who bore our condemnation that we might be made righteous before Thee. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Thank you for sharing this heavy and distressing burden with us. We have heard your account of the dangerous electrical problems, the fear you experienced in that apartment, the signs that someone may have entered while you lived there, and the painful confrontation with this woman and the silence of your former landlord. It is right to give thanks that God preserved your life and brought you out, and it is right to bring the remaining questions, accusations and hurt before Him, for He alone knows what is in every heart.

We are praying for you now for protection and peace. We ask the Lord who sees all things in secret to bring the truth into the light, as you have asked. If wrong was done to the electrical system or to the safety devices in that flat, we pray that it will be clearly exposed and dealt with justly. If there are misunderstandings and false accusations, we pray that those also will be exposed and corrected. We take comfort with you in Psalm 34, that many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers him out of them all, and that the Lord keeps His people and will judge with righteousness.

We also want to encourage you with wisdom for the days ahead. When accusations are made, especially serious ones that involve danger to life, Scripture teaches that matters should be established by reliable witnesses and careful examination, not by suspicion alone or by what one person has heard from another. Suspicion can weigh heavily on the heart and keep us in fear. It is good not to keep an accusation hidden in your mind alone, but to bring what can be shown and proven to those who have responsibility to help, whether that is a trusted pastor, a wise counselor, or the proper civil authorities who can inspect records, investigate safety issues and protect you. If you have not already done so, keep any evidence you have, write down what happened with dates, and seek advice from local authorities or legal help about tenant safety, so that the truth can be examined in an orderly way. This does not replace prayer, but it is a practical way God often brings protection and clarity.

We are praying as you asked for the residents of that house, for the woman who confronted you, and for your former landlord. We ask that the Holy Spirit would work in each of them, that hardness would be broken and a heart of flesh given in its place, that any lying would cease and responsibility would be taken where it is due, and that they would hear the call of God to repentance and truth. We pray that they would come to know salvation through Jesus Christ alone, for He is the one who forgives sin, gives a new heart, and teaches us to walk in honesty and love. We also pray that you would be freed from anxiety and from the burden of carrying these accusations alone, and that you would be able to live with a clear conscience before God, doing good and entrusting justice to Him.

May the Lord guard you from all harm, give you wisdom for each step, comfort you as you wait for His deliverance, and help you to forgive as Christ has forgiven us while still seeking what is true and right. We will continue to pray that the truth will be made known in God's time and that His peace, which passes all understanding, will keep your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Thank you for sharing so openly what you have endured, and thank God with you for His protection when you were in danger in that apartment and again when you were confronted with angry accusations. It is right to bring all of this before the Lord and to ask Him to reveal the truth, because He alone knows every heart and every intention.

What you describe includes two painful burdens at once. One is the very real danger you lived with, the electrical shocks and the fear that someone may have tampered with the system. The other is the wound of being falsely accused by someone who claims you entered a home you never entered. Scripture speaks often about false witnesses who rise up and breathe out cruelty, and about those who speak lies while appearing to be trustworthy. They are not always easy to recognize at first, because much of what is said can sound plausible, and that is why God calls His people to be discerning and to test what is said. He also shows in His law how serious false testimony is, that if a person bears false witness against a neighbor and is proven to have lied, the judgment falls back on the one who lied. An accusation by itself proves nothing. Without truthful evidence it remains an unfounded charge, and God sees the difference even when people do not.

It is also important to remember that belonging to Christ does not mean we are kept from all affliction. The psalm you quoted is true and precious, many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. Peter also reminds us not to think it strange when fiery trials come. God does not promise a life without trouble, but He does promise to be present in trouble, to keep and to deliver, and to bring every hidden thing into the light in His time. No false god or empty hope can do that. Those substitutes only become a heavy burden, while the true and living God is the one who declares the end from the beginning and will bring His purposes to pass.

In this situation the right prayer is not for revenge, but for truth and for repentance. We can ask God to expose what was done with that electrical system, whether it was carelessness, neglect, or something intentional, and to protect you and others from further harm. We can ask Him to make the truth clear to everyone involved, including the residents of that house, so that lies are not allowed to stand. And we can pray for those who have refused to take responsibility, that the Holy Spirit would convict them, soften a hard heart and give a heart of flesh, and lead them to turn from any wrong, to stop lying, to repent and to seek forgiveness from God through Jesus Christ, who alone is the way of salvation. False comfort that excuses sin keeps people from coming to Christ, but the gospel calls every person to turn from idols and sin and to receive mercy.

I join you in prayer for this. Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we thank You that You saw this child of Yours in danger and kept his life. You know whether anyone entered that apartment, You know what happened with the wiring and the protection devices, and You know the truth about the accusations that have been spoken. We ask You to bring what is hidden into the light, to protect from further harm, and to establish the truth with clear evidence. We pray for the former landlord and for the woman who has spoken lies, and for all the residents of that house, that You would touch their hearts, break their hardness, grant them repentance and a willingness to take responsibility where it is due and to make restitution where it is needed. Give to the one who has been wronged Your peace that passes understanding, wisdom for every practical step, and freedom from fear and from constant speculation. Help him to walk in truth and love, to love even those who have opposed him while still seeking what is just and right, and to trust Your deliverance day by day. Amen.

As you continue to seek the Lord, keep a careful record of what happened, keep a safe distance from those who have threatened you, and seek wise and lawful help if you believe your life is still in danger. Authorities are placed by God to investigate and to protect. Above all, keep your heart stayed on Christ, abiding in Him, asking Him daily to lead you in a level path and to guard you from the will of those who would do you harm.
