I asked a lot of prayers because of a life-threatening electrical problem in my rented apartment. Thank God, I survived and moved out. But the story hasn't seemed to end there.
While I was living in the apartment, I noticed that someone might have entered it several times, as evidenced by the position of the lock and some other signs. After many months and much unclear communication, it seems possible that they intentionally tried to kill me. I don't know for sure. Only God knows what is in their hearts and what their intentions are, but it is written in Psalms 34:21–23: Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all. He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken. Affliction will slay the wicked, and those who hate the righteous will be condemned. Last week, a woman I had never spoken to before came up to me angrily and shouted lies and accusations at me. She said that I had entered the house where she and the ex-landlord live. She heard this from someone else and tried to accuse me and destroy me. Thank God the Lord protected me again. Please pray for the residents of the house so that they can see the truth, because I never entered their apartment. However, it is highly likely that someone entered the apartment while I was living in that life-threatening flat. If this woman hired technicians to damage the heating system and disconnect consumers from the RCD, causing electric shocks during showers, then I pray that this is exposed. However this happened, God will show the truth. The landlord is avoiding me and is not willing to speak to me. NO REMORSE! Please pray that the Holy Spirit touches him so that he stops lying and takes responsibility!

These people have not apologised to me or compensated me after nearly three months of moving out. Please pray. May God break their hardness. May they have a heart of flesh. May they hear His call. May they submit to Him.

We stand with you in prayer and thank God with you that He preserved your life through that dangerous electrical failure and brought you safely out of that apartment. We hear how deeply this has shaken you, the signs that someone may have entered your dwelling, the electric shocks while showering, the unclear communication, and now the painful confrontation with this woman who has shouted accusations and lies against you. It is right to bring all of this into the light before the Lord, for He alone knows what is in every heart and what the true intentions were.

We cling with you to the promise you quoted, Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all. He keeps all his bones. Not one of them is broken Psalm 34:19-20. The Lord is your deliverer and your refuge. We also remember that Jesus said the Spirit of truth will guide you into all truth John 16:13 and that nothing is hidden that will not be revealed, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light Luke 8:17. For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, and nothing hidden that will not be known Luke 12:2. And we hold to the promise that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17 and Yahweh will give his angels charge over you to guard you in all your ways Psalm 91:11. If evil was intentionally done to you, God will expose it in His perfect time and justice, and if fear and suspicion are tormenting you after such trauma, He will bring peace and clarity.

We encourage you not to live under a spirit of fear, for God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. The Lord is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear. The Lord is the strength of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid Psalm 27:1. At the same time we encourage you to walk in wisdom. While we trust God to reveal truth and to be our protector, He has also ordained authorities for our protection Romans 13:4. If you have evidence of tampering with the heating system or the RCD and of unlawful entry, keep a careful written record with dates and photos, keep any communication with the landlord, and consider seeking godly counsel and lawful help to ensure your current dwelling is safe and to pursue what is right. Vengeance belongs to the Lord, as it is written, Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19, so we do not seek revenge ourselves, but we can righteously seek truth and accountability while releasing bitterness to Him.

We also pray for your heart to be guarded from constant dread and accusation. The enemy would love to keep you in anxiety and suspicion, but we pray you will know the truth shall make you free John 8:32 and that you will rest in the Lord’s faithful keeping day and night.

We join together now and seek the Father’s will in Jesus’ name.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace for our dear one who has endured such affliction and danger. We thank You that You delivered from that life threatening electrical hazard and that not one bone was broken by Your mercy. We ask You to be a wall of fire around this life now, to command Your angels to guard and keep in all ways, and to let no weapon formed prosper. Lord, You see all that happened in that flat, whether there was negligence, deceit, or intentional harm in disconnecting protection devices and tampering with the heating. Bring what was done in secret into the light and let truth prevail. We pray for the residents of that house and for this aggressive woman, that You would open their eyes to see the truth, that lies and false accusations would be silenced, and that they would not be used to destroy an innocent person. We pray for the former landlord who is avoiding responsibility and showing no remorse, that Your Holy Spirit would convict him, break his hardness, and give him a new heart and a new spirit as You promised, I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh Ezekiel 36:26. Grant him repentance, that he would stop lying and take responsibility and make restitution where it is due.

Lord, we also pray for the one who submitted this request, give perfect peace that passes understanding, heal trauma and fear, restore restful sleep, and let Your presence be felt as refuge and fortress Psalm 91:2. Help to forgive as You have forgiven us, while still trusting You for justice, for You are both merciful and just. Lead by Your Spirit into all truth and keep from all harm. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our only access to the Father John 14:6, trusting that You hear and will answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to cast all your worries on Him, because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7, to remain in prayer and in the Word, and to not walk alone but share your concerns with trusted believers and, if needed, with lawful authorities who can help establish the facts. May the Lord comfort you, vindicate you where you need vindication, and soften the hearts of those who have wronged you that they may hear His call and submit to Him.

We were so grateful to hear you got out of that apartment safely. Living for months with electric shocks in the shower and not knowing if your home was safe must have been exhausting, and it makes sense that you are still on edge even after moving out.

It is also painful to be shouted at and accused of something you did not do, especially when you have already been through so much and the landlord will not talk with you or take responsibility. We hear how much you want the truth to be seen clearly and for hardness to soften.

When we have been in real danger, our minds often stay on high alert afterwards, scanning for what might still be intentional or hidden. We do not know what was in anyone's heart or what caused the electrical problems, but God does, and we can leave that into His hands while we take steady, practical steps for your peace and safety now.

One thing that often helps is to keep a little distance from further confrontation, keep any communication in writing with dates saved in one place, and lean on one or two trusted people nearby, a pastor or wise counselor, who know your situation and can walk with you if questions about the apartment need to be addressed through proper channels. If you ever feel physically threatened, please step away to safety and get help right away.

Father, we bring our brother before You in Jesus' name. Cover him with Your protection, quiet his fear, and guard his home and sleep. We ask You to reveal what needs to be revealed in Your way and time, to soften hearts that are hard, and to lead him into wisdom and peace as he waits on You. Amen.

There is cause for thanksgiving that the Lord has preserved your life and brought you out from that place of danger, for many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. He who keeps all the bones of His people is able to keep you in every peril, and that you were not consumed in that hazard of electricity is a token that you are yet a brand plucked from the burning, kept by a power greater than your own.

We have heard your distress concerning what may have happened in that rented apartment, the fear that others entered without leave, the dread that harm was intended, and the fresh grief of being accused falsely by one you had never known. It is right to remember that only God sees the heart and knows every intention, and while suspicions press heavily upon the mind, vengeance and judgment belong to Him. He is a just God, and His justice was vindicated most fully at the cross where Christ bore sin, so that no sin is overlooked and no righteous sufferer is forgotten. Leave room for His wisdom to bring hidden things to light in His own time, and ask Him to keep your heart from being overwhelmed by fear or by bitterness.

We will pray with you and for you.

We pray that the Lord will be your shield and your hiding place, that He will guard you from further harm and grant you peace of mind after so much trouble. We pray that whatever is true concerning that apartment and the electrical danger will be made plain, that if wrong has been done it will be exposed by lawful and proper means, and that if there has been misunderstanding, the truth will quiet false accusation. We pray for the residents of that house and for the former landlord, that the Holy Spirit would indeed work upon them, that hardness would be broken and a heart of flesh given, that lies would be forsaken and responsibility taken where it is due, and that they would hear the call of God to return unto Him and be found under the new covenant of grace through the blood of Jesus Christ, for there is no other way of salvation. We pray that you may be kept as one of God's witnesses, speaking the truth in love, not rendering evil for evil, but committing your cause to Him who judges righteously.

If there remains any risk that a dwelling is unsafe or that a crime has been committed, we urge you to seek the help of the proper authorities and to keep a careful record, while you continue to cast your care upon the Lord. May He who has taught you from your youth and kept you until this time, continue to teach you through His Word and the assembling of His people, and may He bestow upon you all good things and withhold no good thing from them that walk uprightly. May the blood of Jesus Christ, God's dear Son, be your comfort, that being justified by His grace you may rest in His finished work and know that no charge can stand against those whom God has justified.

May the Lord grant you quietness of spirit, a sure confidence in His providence, and grace to forgive as you have been forgiven, while you wait for Him to make all things clear.
