Your story shows how mercifully God has kept you through a truly dangerous situation, and I thank Him with you that you were delivered from that electrical hazard and were able to move out safely. It is understandable that after months of shocks, uncertainty, and the sense that someone may have entered your apartment, you still feel unsettled and on guard. The lingering fear, the questions about what really happened, and the pain of being accused falsely are heavy burdens, and it is right to bring them to the Lord who sees all things and judges righteously.
You quoted Psalm 34, and that promise remains true. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. He watches over His people, and affliction will in the end condemn the wicked while those who hate the righteous will face judgment. Only God knows fully what was in the hearts of those involved, whether there was carelessness, dishonesty, or intentional harm. We do not have to carry the weight of proving motives ourselves. The Spirit of truth will bring what is hidden into the light in His time.
Scripture warns often about false witness and false teaching, and one reason it is so serious is that it rarely comes as an obvious lie. It often comes mixed with much that sounds true, which is why it can deceive and why it must be tested carefully against facts and against the Word of God. A false witness who seeks to pin guilt on a neighbor was judged very severely under the law, and Jesus Himself faced false accusations when men tried to trap Him and to get the crowd to condemn Him. The Bible treats a lying tongue and perjury as God treats all sin, with righteous judgment, because justice and truth are pillars on which a healthy community stands. When those pillars rot, the whole structure is in danger. God is not indifferent to justice. He calls for truthfulness, for taking responsibility, and for making things right where wrong has been done.
It is also true that times of pressure and of being unjustly accused can be used by God to deepen faith and love, while at the same time He has promised that those who inflict suffering on His people will not go unanswered when He judges. That does not mean we seek revenge. It means we can rest and leave judgment to Him, asking Him to protect you, to establish the truth, and to work in the hearts of others.
I will pray for you and for those you mentioned. I pray that the Lord continues to be your protector and your peace, calming fear and guarding you from harm. If any wrong was done with the heating or electrical system, I pray that the truth would be clearly exposed through proper inspection and honest investigation, and that you would have wisdom to document what you experienced and to seek lawful help from appropriate authorities if you believe you are still at risk. I pray that the woman who accused you and the former landlord would be confronted by the Holy Spirit, that any hardness would be broken and replaced with a heart of flesh that hears God, tells the truth, and takes responsibility where it is due. I pray that they would come to know salvation through Jesus Christ alone, and that they would turn from lying and evasion to repentance and integrity. I pray also that you would be given grace to forgive as Christ has forgiven you, which does not excuse wrong but frees you from bitterness while you still seek what is right and fair, including any proper apology or restitution if it is owed.
May the Lord keep you, give you discernment to recognize what is true and what is false, and fill you with confidence that He who kept you from physical harm is able to keep your heart and mind in perfect peace as you trust Him.
