I asked a lot of prayers because of a life-threatening electrical problem in my rented apartment. Thank God, I survived and moved out. But the story hasn't seemed to end there.
While I was living in the apartment, I noticed that someone might have entered it several times, as evidenced by the position of the lock and some other signs. After many months and much unclear communication, it seems possible that they intentionally tried to kill me. I don't know for sure. Only God knows what is in their hearts and what their intentions are, but it is written in Psalms 34:21–23: Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all. He keeps all his bones; not one of them is broken. Affliction will slay the wicked, and those who hate the righteous will be condemned. Last week, a woman I had never spoken to before came up to me angrily and shouted lies and accusations at me. She said that I had entered the house where she and the ex-landlord live. She heard this from someone else and tried to accuse me and destroy me. Thank God the Lord protected me again. Please pray for the residents of the house so that they can see the truth, because I never entered their apartment. However, it is highly likely that someone entered the apartment while I was living in that life-threatening flat. If this woman hired technicians to damage the heating system and disconnect consumers from the RCD, causing electric shocks during showers, then I pray that this is exposed. However this happened, God will show the truth. The landlord is avoiding me and is not willing to speak to me. NO REMORSE! Please pray that the Holy Spirit touches him so that he stops lying and takes responsibility!

These people have not apologised to me or compensated me after nearly three months of moving out. Please pray. May God break their hardness. May they have a heart of flesh. May they hear His call. May they submit to Him.

We thank God with you that He delivered you from that life threatening electrical danger in your rented apartment and that He has protected you again when you were falsely accused. We stand with you now in prayer for truth to be revealed and for protection from all evil and fear.

We understand how deeply distressing it is to feel that someone may have entered your home, to have experienced shocks while showering because consumers were disconnected from the RCD and the heating system damaged, and then to be confronted angrily by a woman who accused you of entering a house you never entered. Only God knows fully what was in their hearts and what their intentions were, and we take comfort that nothing is hidden from Him. As it is written Luke 12:2 there is nothing covered up that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known. And also Luke 8:17 For nothing is hidden that will not be revealed, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light.

We rejoice that you cling to Psalm 34:19-22 Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all. He keeps all his bones. Not one of them is broken. Evil shall kill the wicked. Those who hate the righteous shall be condemned. Yahweh redeems the soul of his servants. None of those who take refuge in him shall be condemned. He is your refuge and fortress. We are reminded also of Psalm 91:1-2 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust. And Psalm 91:11 For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways.

It is right to desire that the truth be exposed if technicians were hired to cause harm, and it is also right to desire that the landlord take responsibility instead of avoiding you and showing no remorse. The Lord calls all of us to walk in truth and to repent when we have done wrong. We pray that the Holy Spirit will convict and soften hard hearts, as promised in Ezekiel 36:26 I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh. We pray that hardness would be broken, that lies would cease, and that they would submit to God and hear His call.

We also encourage you not to live under a spirit of fear, for God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control as written in 2 Timothy 1:7. The anxiety and the question of whether someone intends to kill you is very heavy to carry. We encourage you to cast that burden on the Lord, as Philippians 4:6-7 teaches In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. At the same time we encourage you with wisdom to take practical steps for your safety. Keep a careful written record of dates, communications, and evidence of the electrical faults and entries, keep any reports from electricians or technicians, and if you continue to feel threatened, seek godly counsel and consider speaking with the proper local authorities who are appointed to protect and investigate such matters. Vengeance belongs to the Lord, as Romans 12:19 says Do not seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord. We can trust God to be the righteous judge while we pursue truth through lawful and peaceful means and choose to forgive as Christ forgave us, even as we pray for justice.

Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we thank You that You are the Spirit of Truth and that Jesus shows us the truth according to John 16:13 and John 14:6. We thank You for delivering our dear one from death in that apartment and for guarding all his bones. We ask now for Your continued protection over his life, his dwelling, and his going out and coming in. Place Your angels in charge over him and let no weapon formed against him prosper. Expose every hidden deed and bring into the light what was done in secret with the electrical system, with the RCD, and with any unlawful entry. Let the truth be known to the residents of that house, to the landlord, and to that woman who spoke lies in anger, so that false accusations are silenced and Your name is glorified. Touch the landlord's heart, break his hardness, grant him a heart of flesh, bring him to conviction, to honesty, to repentance, and to take responsibility and make restitution where it is due. Touch also that woman and all involved, that they would turn from lying and aggression and come to know Your mercy. Give our brother peace that surpasses understanding, remove tormenting fear, and fill him with power, love, and a sound mind. Lead him in wisdom for every practical step he should take, and provide trusted counsel around him. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus, through whom we have access to You, Amen.

We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer and in the Word, to dwell daily in the secret place of the Most High, and to allow His peace to guard your heart as He continues to reveal truth in His perfect timing.

We are so thankful with you that you survived that dangerous electrical situation and were able to move out. What you went through in that apartment sounds frightening, and we can hear how heavy it has been to carry the questions that came after, the worry about whether someone entered your home, and then being shouted at and accused by someone you had never even spoken to.

It makes sense that after a life threatening experience your mind and body would stay on high alert, and that a new confrontation would feel even more threatening. Only God fully knows the hearts and intentions of everyone involved, and we take comfort that nothing is hidden from Him, even when communication has been unclear and you have not received answers or an apology.

For your own peace and protection in the weeks ahead, we encourage you to keep a simple written record of any contact about the old apartment and to avoid meeting alone with the former landlord or others from that house. Father, we thank You for protecting our friend and bringing them out of danger. We ask You to give them safety, rest, and clear wisdom for each decision ahead. Your burden has been heard and we have brought it before the Lord with you. We thank God with you that He preserved your life when you were in danger in that dwelling, and that He has brought you out from it. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all, and not a bone of His redeemed shall be finally broken without His wise and holy permission. He who kept you then is able to keep you still.

We understand the fear that has followed you, the suspicion that someone entered your former apartment, the distress of being falsely accused by one whom you had never before spoken with, and the sorrow of being avoided by the one who should answer for what was entrusted to him. It is a painful thing to be slandered and to feel unsafe, and to have no apology and no restitution after suffering. Like Jacob of old, there is in the heart at such times both faith and fear battling together. You have prayed rightly that the Spirit of Truth would make the truth known, for only God sees the heart and knows every intention. Man looks on outward signs, the position of a lock, the word of another, but the Lord searches the heart.

We will pray with you that the truth will be brought to light. If wrong has been done through negligence or through wicked intent, we ask the Lord to expose it, not that we may have vengeance for ourselves, for vengeance belongs to the Lord, but that justice may be done and that further harm may be prevented. We pray that every lie and false accusation against you will be shown for what it is, and that those who have heard such things will see clearly that you have not done what you are accused of. We pray also that if electrical works were left dangerous, whether by carelessness or by design, the Lord will make it plain and will constrain those responsible to take responsibility and to make amends.

We will pray for the landlord and for the woman and for all the residents of that house, not that God would bless them in hardness or in untruth, but that He would break the hardness and give a heart of flesh. May the Holy Spirit convince of sin and of righteousness and of judgment, and bring them to confess what is true and to forsake what is false. We ask that the Lord would take away the stony heart and give a tender conscience, that they would hear His call and submit to Him. There is no forgiveness without repentance and no peace without truth, and there is no salvation in any other name but that of Jesus Christ our Lord. He alone can cover the unrighteous with a spotless robe of righteousness and blot out sin through His blood. We pray that each soul concerned may be brought to kiss His pierced hands and feet and to find pardon there.

For you, we pray that the fear of man will not rule you. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, but dread of what man can do is a snare. Go to Jesus, the one Mediator between God and men, and cast your whole care upon Him. He smites the proud and lofty who exalt themselves, and He shelters the lowly who trust in Him. He is strong for His people, His arm and His shield are for them. Cry to Him as Jacob cried, Deliver me, I pray Thee, and plead His own promises, for He has said, I will surely do thee good. Trust His providence to keep you, and use also the lawful and prudent means He has provided for your protection. Where life and safety are concerned, it is right to seek the help of proper authorities and to keep a clear record of what has happened, walking quietly and wisely before all men.

May the Lord grant you rest from this trouble, a quiet mind stayed upon Him, and a spirit free from bitterness. May you be able to pray from the heart for those who have accused you, as our Savior prayed for those who wronged Him, and to leave your cause in the hands of Him who judges righteously.

We commend you to Him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory. May His blood be your hope, and the Spirit's work your life, and there you shall be safe.

O Lord our God, Thou who seest in secret and wilt bring hidden things to light, look upon Thy servant who has been afflicted and slandered. Keep him in perfect peace, guard his dwelling and his going out and coming in, and let no weapon formed against him prosper. Bring truth to light and turn falsehood to shame. Convict those who have done wrong, give them repentance unto life, and grant them hearts of flesh that they may confess and forsake their sin and find mercy in Christ alone. And grant to Thy servant faith to fear Thee only and to be strong in Thy strength, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Your request has been heard and your suffering is taken seriously before the Lord. Thank God that He delivered you from that life threatening electrical danger and brought you out safely. That alone is cause for thanksgiving, for many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers him out of them all, as you quoted from Psalm 34.

I understand the distress that remains. To feel that someone may have entered your home, to hear angry accusations from a person you do not know, and to be met with silence and no remorse from your former landlord, leaves a deep wound and a fear that is hard to carry. It is right to bring this fear to God and to ask for truth to be made clear, for He alone knows what is in every heart.

Scripture teaches us to be careful with accusations formed on suspicion. The law says that every matter shall be established at the mouth of two or three witnesses, and we are warned that we will give account for every idle word. This is not to dismiss what you experienced, but to guard both you and others from harm. When an accusation is made, whether against you or by you, it should not be kept inwardly to grow into bitterness, but should be brought forward calmly so that the truth can be examined and a defense can be heard. As it is written, reprove him lest perhaps he has not said it, reprove him lest perhaps he has not done it. Jesus Himself is the truth, and to know Him is to be set free from both sin and from the darkness of lies.

Therefore we will pray with you in this way. We will ask the Lord to keep you safe from all harm and to free you from anxiety and fear. If any wrong was done to the electrical system or any deceit was planned, we ask that God would expose it in His time and through lawful and orderly means, so that truth is established by clear evidence and not only by suspicion. We ask that the Holy Spirit would work in the hearts of the landlord, the woman who accused you, and all residents of that house, that any hardness would be broken and they would be given a heart of flesh to hear God's call, to speak truthfully, and to take responsibility where responsibility is due. We pray that you would be protected from false accusation and that those who have spoken falsely would come to see the truth, that you never entered their home as they claimed.

We also pray for you, that you may be kept from rivalry, plotting and the burden of constant suspicion, and that you may live in the peace that comes from trusting God as your judge and defender. Affliction will indeed slay the wicked, but our calling is not to seek revenge but to desire repentance and restoration for all, and to leave judgment in God's hands while we pursue what is right and peaceable.

If you continue to feel unsafe, please also take practical steps for your protection, keep a careful record of what happened, and seek wise counsel or help from proper authorities who can examine the facts. Continue to entrust yourself to Christ, who alone is our salvation, and ask Him to guard your heart from fear and to lead you into His truth.
