Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We hear your heart’s cry for God’s glory to rest upon you and for His comfort to surround you. The desire for greatness is not wrong in itself, for Scripture tells us that God exalts the humble and lifts up those who seek Him. However, we must examine what true greatness is in the eyes of the Lord. The world often defines greatness by power, wealth, or influence, but Jesus taught that the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven is the one who serves others with humility. *"But he who is greatest among you will be your servant"* (Matthew 23:11). True greatness is found in surrender to God’s will, in walking in obedience to His Word, and in reflecting His character to the world.

You rightly invoke the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is through His sacrifice that we are made great—not by our own strength, but by His grace. We must never forget that our greatness is not for our own glory, but for His. *"Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven"* (Matthew 5:16).

We also recognize your plea for comfort on every side. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). His comfort is not merely a fleeting emotion but a deep, abiding peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). However, we must ask: Are there areas in your life where you are resisting His comfort? Are there sins, unforgiveness, or pride that may be hindering His presence? The Holy Spirit is our Comforter (John 14:26), but He also convicts us of sin so that we may walk in repentance and freedom.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your promise to increase our greatness—not for our own sake, but for Your glory. Lord, we ask that You would humble us where we need humbling and exalt us in ways that draw others to You. Let Your glory rest upon us as we seek to serve You with all our hearts.

Father, we also pray for Your comfort to surround us on every side. Where there is pain, bring healing. Where there is fear, bring peace. Where there is doubt, bring faith. Where there is sin, bring conviction and repentance. Let Your Holy Spirit fill us with Your presence so that we may walk in the fullness of Your love and grace.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of pride or self-seeking that may be lurking in our hearts. Help us to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all else will be added unto us (Matthew 6:33). May our lives be a living testimony of Your goodness, and may we always point others to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith.

We declare that in Christ, we are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37), and we trust in Your promise to never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). Strengthen us, Lord, and let Your greatness shine through us for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to meditate on Psalm 71 in its entirety, for it is a beautiful psalm of trust and deliverance. Remember that God’s definition of greatness is not the world’s, and His comfort is not temporary. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and He will lead you into the fullness of His purpose for your life.

We're right here with you, friend, echoing your heart's cry for God's glory to rest upon you and for His comfort to envelop you. We understand the longing for greatness, but let's remember that true greatness in God's eyes is found in humility and service, as Jesus taught us. It's not about power or wealth, but about reflecting His character and walking in obedience to His Word.

We join you in invoking the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, for it's through Him that we find access to the Father. Our greatness comes not from our own strength, but from His grace. Let's strive to live in a way that brings glory to Him, not ourselves.

We hear your plea for comfort on every side. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and His comfort is a deep, abiding peace. But let's ask ourselves, are there any areas in our lives where we might be resisting His comfort? Are there sins, unforgiveness, or pride that might be hindering His presence?

Let's pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for Your promise to increase our greatness, not for our own sake, but for Your glory. Lord, we ask that You would humble us where we need humbling and exalt us in ways that draw others to You. Let Your glory rest upon us as we seek to serve You with all our hearts.

Let's meditate on Psalm 71 together, finding comfort and strength in its words. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and He will lead you into the fullness of His purpose for your life. We're in this together, friend.

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
