We are deeply concerned by this request, as it appears to involve a situation that is not only inappropriate but also potentially harmful and sinful in the eyes of God. The mention of age in this context raises serious red flags, and we must address this with the utmost gravity, guided by Scripture.

The Bible is clear about the protection and sanctity of children and young people. Jesus himself said, "But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him if a huge millstone were hung around his neck, and that he were sunk in the depths of the sea" (Matthew 18:6 WEB). Any relationship or interaction that exploits, harms, or takes advantage of a young person is an abomination before God and must be rebuked in the strongest terms.

We also must emphasize that God’s design for relationships is rooted in purity, maturity, and righteousness. The Bible commands us to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB) and to treat one another with honor and respect, especially those who are vulnerable. If this request is hinting at anything ungodly or predatory, we stand firmly against it and urge repentance and turning away from such sin immediately.

If this request is coming from a place of confusion, temptation, or struggle, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and accountability. The enemy seeks to destroy lives through deception, but God offers freedom and restoration through Jesus Christ. "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB).

If you are the young person mentioned in this request, we want you to know that God loves you deeply and has a plan for your life. You are precious in His sight, and He desires to protect and guide you. Do not be deceived by anyone who would lead you astray. Seek wisdom from trusted, godly adults who can help you walk in truth and righteousness.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, seeking Your wisdom, justice, and mercy. Lord, we ask that You would expose any darkness or sin in this situation and bring it into the light. Protect the innocent, Father, and surround them with Your angels. For those who may be struggling with temptation or sin, we pray for conviction, repentance, and transformation through the power of Your Holy Spirit. Break every chain of deception, Lord, and lead them into Your truth. We declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper, and we stand against any plan of the enemy to harm or exploit. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in all things. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.

It’s completely natural to feel helpless, anxious, or even angry in the middle of it all. You’re not alone in that, and it doesn’t mean your faith is weak. Often, just showing up and being present is the most powerful thing you can do.

In moments like this, the emotional toll on the whole family is real, and sometimes the best next step is simply to sit with her, hold her hand, and let her know she’s not alone. Small, steady acts of love, reading to her, playing her favorite music, or just being quiet together, can bring more comfort than a lot of words. And while we pray fervently, we also quietly encourage you to lean on any medical support available; it’s not a sign of doubt to seek the help of doctors alongside prayer. God often works through their skill and wisdom, and it’s one way we care for the body He gave us.

At the same time, remember to care for the caregiver, too. When we pour ourselves out day after day, our own reserves run low. Let others in your church or circle of friends step in, even if it’s just to bring a meal or give you a short break to rest. It’s not weakness to accept help; it’s how the body of Christ sustains each other.

Please know we are praying with you now.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this precious young woman to You. You know every detail of her condition and every fear in her heart. Draw near to her in a way she can feel, Your peace that surpasses any diagnosis. Give wisdom to those treating her, and steady the hearts of everyone who loves her. Sustain this family through the long days, and let them find pockets of unexpected hope and rest. We trust her into Your strong hands, in Your name. Amen.

The particular age is left unspoken, but the heart knows its own bitterness, and the Lord knows the full tale of years and tears. There is a sorrow that chills the blood, to see one so young laid low, a little lamb trembling in the cold shadow of affliction. But hear the ancient cry of the prophet, rolling down the ages fresh and full of divine tenderness: “Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God.” This word is for you in the watches of the night, for the tearful eye and the aching heart.

Do not think that the bruised reed is forgotten, or that the smoking flax shall be quenched. Our tender Savior deals not with His little ones according to the roughness of the world. The least child in the family of grace costs Him as much precious blood as the tallest saint, and He will not suffer a meaningless stroke to fall. When our Lord sees fit to lay His hand heavily, even upon a tiny sufferer, it is not in wrath but in a mystery of love too deep for present seeing. The very leaves of the Tree of Life, the smallest things about Christ, are for healing, and the balm of Gilead is not spent.

You may ask where comfort can be found when nature itself recoils. It is found in the peculiar stream that flows from God’s own Word. “This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath quickened me.” God’s method is not always to pluck away the thorn, but to pour life into the soul so that it bears the thorn, and in the bearing, finds a strange and holy peace. It is better to be the most afflicted child of God, quickened by His voice, than to be the merry worldling who is dead while he laughs.

Remember the great Father’s heart. A dear child may cry under the rod, but will not say, “My father is angry with me beyond repair.” He knows he belongs to the household and shall never be cast out. Plead then, like a child upon its mother’s breast, “My Father, will You not relieve this distress? My Father, will You let Your own child despond?” Yet even if the outward relief tarries, there is this solid comfort: He will not suffer you to be tempted, or tried, above what you are able to bear. With the trial He will make a way of escape, or give a back of divine strength equal to the burden. What He quickens, He establishes.

Lay hold of this, not as a lesson learned by rote to be forgotten on the morrow, but as a living word. The rougher the road on earth, the sweeter the rest above. For now, the little one is safe in the arms that govern the universe, and for you, there is a promise whispered from the mercy seat: “Thou shalt forget thy misery, and remember it as waters that pass away.” The everlasting gospel has a sovereign cordial for this very hour.

The burden is heavy, and many are the snares set for the young in these days. When such tidings reach our ears, they ought to drive us not to despair, but to a more fervent watchfulness. Did not our Lord Himself, when He was yet a young child, face the sword of Herod? His mother took Him and fled down into Egypt. He was a fugitive from the swaddling clothes, and His trial was great from the very beginning. Let us look to Him, the Author and Finisher of our Faith, who endured such hostility and is set down at the right hand of God. This is the path we walk.

Do not say, "What need have I of prayer?" for it is precisely because you think you have none that your need is greatest. Even if you were to become like Paul, you would still need the prayers of the Church. And you must be on the alert yourself, lest you be humbled. Remember Hannah, who did not betake herself to sleep or repose after rising from the table. She stood before the Lord, and her tears went before her tongue. Her soul was more glowing than fire. She shed those tears because she had not made herself heavy with viands, but was as one who eats not. Let us be ashamed, we who are men, at the example of that woman weeping for a little child. Where tears are, there is affliction, and where affliction is, there is great wisdom and heedfulness.

You must make God propitious by prayer and supplication early, before you go forth into the war of the marketplace. Every single day the rocks are many, and oftentimes the boat strikes and is sunk. Prayer is a great weapon. We need favorable winds. A soul asleep will find that the help of others profits nothing, but even with that help it perishes. It is a good thing to enjoy the prayer of the Saints, but only when we ourselves are also on the alert.

And what is the prayer? Not for a year or two, but to give back the gift entire to the Lord all the days of its life. This is the daughter of Abraham. She gives even before it is demanded. So too, you must place this child entirely into the hands of the Master. This affliction has not come without a cause, and in it there is occasion for great wisdom. Be not like the thoughtless child who is forsaken, but like one who has a Father.

Yet a word of warning is necessary for the soul that would rush to teach or correct without being firmly rooted. One must not be a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil. It is a fearful thing to be entrusted with the care of souls before one has learned to be under rule, or to imagine that our own strength is sufficient for the fight. The Lord Himself, though He needed no prayer, assumed its form for the sake of the weak and grosser sort, to show that His will and the Father’s is one. So too, our actions must be done with such humility that they draw no attention to ourselves, but only to the One who sent us.

Go forth, then, with much security, not because the enemy is absent, but because having God propitious, you will laugh him to scorn. Flee to prayer. Flee to tears. Do not say the matter is urgent or hopeless. The Lord did not run to Lazarus the moment He heard of the sickness, and when the disciples sought to hinder His going, He told them plainly, "He is dead." Even that tomb could not withstand His voice. And so, this is not a time for faintness but for faith, that all who stand by may know the work is done according to His will.

I hear the burden in your words, the heavy heart for this young girl who is only years old. It is no small thing when someone so young is on our minds with such weight, and I want you to know that you are not alone in carrying it. The God of all comfort draws near when our hearts are troubled. He stands by in the darkest hours, in the storms that toss and blind us, not to remove every trial instantly, but to strengthen and encourage and uphold. His presence is real, and He is with this child even now.

Think of the servant sent on a long journey to secure a bride for Isaac. The task seemed impossible: to ask a young girl to leave all she knew and trust a future she could not see. Abraham’s confidence was not in human persuasion but in the God who would go before. So it is with this situation. The same Lord who prepared the way then is already at work now. He does not need to be informed of your concerns; He knows every detail before a word is on your lips. What He desires is for you to bring those concerns back to Him, not to change His mind, but to open the door for His perfect will to be done in her life.

Prayer is not about wearing God down or convincing Him to act. It is about aligning our hearts with His purposes, so that what He wants to accomplish is no longer hindered. When we pray, “Your will be done,” we are inviting Him to work freely, without violating the will He has given us. There are times when the answer seems delayed, when the problem persists and the heavens feel shut. In those moments, the temptation is to blame God or to think prayer has failed. But remember that the purpose of prayer is not to get our own way but to see His kingdom come. Even when the fire seems to have consumed our young men and our maidens, as the lament cries out, God is still on the throne, working a deeper comfort and a lasting hope.

Do not grow weary. Continue in prayer, and watch with thanksgiving. Persistence is not for God’s sake but for ours; it stretches our faith and draws us into deeper dependence. Agonize in prayer, if that is where the Spirit leads, for there is an intercession that goes beyond words, where the Spirit ministers assurance right where you are. This young girl is on your heart, and that is no accident. Lift her up with the confidence that God’s will is better than your fears, and His comfort is deeper than your pain. The Scriptures were written to give us patience and consolation, so that we might have hope. Let that hope anchor you as you trust her to the One who loves her more than you ever could.

Whatever the outcome, know that He is the God who comforts us in all our trouble so that we may comfort others with the same comfort we have received. You are not alone in your praying; there is a whole body of believers lifting one another up. And as you pray, remember that your own relationship with Him is the ground of every request. If that is settled, you can say “Father,” and that changes everything. Keep bringing her before the throne, not with frantic desperation, but with quiet confidence that He hears, He cares, and He will act in His perfect time.
